A three-dimensional (3-D) finite volume coastal ocean model (FVCOM) was used for the study of water cir culation and seawater exchange in the Benoa Bay, Bali Island. The M2 tidal component was forced in open boundary and discharge from six rivers was included in the numerical calculation. The M2 tidal elevation produced by the FVCOM has a good agreement with the observation data. The M2 tidal current is also suc cessfully calculated under the ebb tide and flood tide conditions. The non-linear M2 tidal residual current was produced by the coastline geometry, especially surrounding the narrow strait between the Serangan Is- land and the Benoa Peninsula. The tidal residual current also generated two small eddies within the bay and one small eddy in the bay mouth. The salinity distribution influenced by river discharge could be success- fully calculated, where the numerical calculation and the observation results have a good correlation (r2) of 0.75. Finally in order to examine the seawater exchange in the Benoa Bay, the Lagrangian particle tracking method and calculation of residence time are applied. The mechanism of particle transport to the flushing of seawater is depicted clearly by both methods.  相似文献

渤海湾内海岸的连续开发导致岸线 、海床发生较大变化, 同时影响着湾内的水沙通量。根据不同时期的遥感影像、 实测地形和水文泥沙资料, 统计分析了渤海湾岸线 、面积和海床冲淤变化, 构建了渤海潮流泥沙数学模型, 模拟了 1984 年、 2006 年和 2015 年三个时期的水沙分布, 探究了海岸连续开发对水沙分布和通量引起的累积效应。结果表明: 渤海湾岸线和 海湾面积变化主要发生于 2005 年后, 与 1984 年相比, 2020 年的岸线长度增长超过 185%,海湾面积减少近 19%;曹妃甸港 区南侧海域冲刷基本在 2 m 等深线以内, 而近岸和港池水域基本呈现淤积状态, 淤积幅度在 2 m 以内; 海湾的连续开发利用 使得湾内分潮波振幅增大 、传播速度减缓, 近岸海域的余流变化较为明显,南部较北部海域更甚;西北湾顶 0.2 kg/m3 悬沙 分布区域不断缩小, 西南近岸 0. 15 kg/m3 悬沙分布区域向中部海域推进; 悬沙通量变化与潮流通量并不完全一致, 呈外海增 加、近岸整体降低的变化特征, 湾内向外海输移泥沙的能力减弱。  相似文献

Tidal current ellipses formed by the Coriolis effect are investigated theoretically, taking account of the effect of horizontal boundaries. This study reveals that even in a narrow bay, the tidal current ellipse appears in the inside of the bottom boundary layer, although the ellipticity cannot be recognized in the outside of the boundary layer. In a wide bay, the ellipticity is observed even in the outside and it is larger in the inside. The rotation direction of these ellipses is counterclockwise in the northern hemisphere. And also, the Coriolis force has an effect to deflect the major axis of the ellipse in the inside of the boundary layer. These nature of the tidal current ellipse is well explained by the consideration of the formation mechanism of the ellipse.  相似文献

The tidal residual circulation in a bay was experimentally investigated with use of a hydraulic model. The model basin is a square bay of 5 m sides with a one-sided mouth of 1 m wide. The depth of the basin is 0.1 m. The tide of a six-minute period was provided by a tide generator of plunger type through the mouth. Tidal currents in the bay always flow in one direction though its strengths change according to the tidal phase, that is, a strong tidal residual circulation occurs in the bay. A similar flow pattern was observed to occur in a field with a horizontal boundary geometrically similar to the present model. The vorticity transfer from tidal current to residual flow is balanced with the vorticity advection of residual flow and the dissipation due to the viscosity.  相似文献

The tidal residual circulation in a bay was investigated by means of a hydraulic model experiment. In addition to the experiment in the previous paper, some other experiments were carried out to study the effect of external parameters to the tidal residual flow. The ratio of the kinetic energy of tidal residual flows to that of tidal currents in the bay depends on the Reynolds number. With the training wall at the mouth, the vorticity transfer from the tidal current to the tidal residual flow sharply decreases. As a result the remarkable tidal residual circulation in the bay does not occur.  相似文献

The role of the ‘tidal vortex’ in the mechanism of generation of tidal residual circulation is investigated for a bay with a narrow entrance channel. It is shown that the circulation of residual flow is produced not by the vorticity of the inflowing sidewall-boundary layer, but by a tidal vortex formed by rolling up of the discontinuity surface released from the flow separation point at the entrance. This tidal vortex is affected by the circulation of the inflowing water, that is the inflowing tidal vortex. A returning tidal vortex formed in the bay diminishes the circulation of the tidal vortex of the next generation, while the inflowing tidal vortex formed in the open sea increases it. These cases correspond to tidal vortex life-histories of type-II and type-III, respectively (Kashiwai, 1984a). Tidal vortices of each life-history type have different strength and produce residual circulation of different strength, corresponding to each type. The ratio of kinetic energy of residual flow to that of the tidal current through the bay entrance, that is to say the energy gain of the residual circulation, is proportional to the reciprocal of the Strouhal number, and its rate of increase depends on the life-history type of the tidal vortex. This explains the experimental observation reported by Oonishi (1977) and Yanagi (1978) that the energy ratio of residual flow to tidal flow increases with the Reynolds number not monotonously but goes through a maximum and a minimum at intermediate Reynolds number.  相似文献

广东流沙湾4个测站2个周日潮流观测的准调和分析   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
采用短期资料的潮流准调和分析方法,对水深为4.4~17.0 m的流沙湾4个测站2个周日潮流观测获得的表、中、底层的潮流资料进行了分析,分别计算了4个测站O1、K1、M2、S2、M4、MS4共6个主要分潮的潮流调和常数,并给出了各观测站位在各层的潮流椭圆要素.计算结果表明:流沙湾主要为日潮流海区,其中湾外为规则日潮流,湾内为不规则日潮流;湾外主要分潮流的北分量一般大于东分量,而湾内主要分潮流的北分量一般小于东分量.观测期间余流的流向主要呈西北向,最大余流流速出现在湾内地形突然收窄处,且在湾内中层余流流速要大于表、底层余流流速.整个海区潮流的可能最大流速表层在57~107 cm/s之间,中层在53~106 cm/s之间,底层在34~98 cm/s之间.流沙湾湾外潮流主要为顺时针的旋转流运动,湾内为带有旋转流的往复流运动.  相似文献

Besides seasonal variation, instantaneous variation of thermal layer will occur under the effects of tide, tidal current and wind disturbance. In this study the numerical simulation has been first carried out on fluctuation and undulation of thermal layer under influence of tide (simultaneous input of 8 tidal components). The study reveals the geographic distribution of thermal layer fluctuation in the entire study region and temporal and spatial variations of the undulation in tidal period superposing on the fluctuation. Especially, the wave with large amplitude simulated is consistent with observation in the channal and the sea areas with a convex coastline and complex variation of depth, internal relations of tide, tidal current, residual current as well as the factors such as geography, and the fluctuation of thermal layer is induced by residual current due to unsymmetry which occurs as a result of the tidal movement in lower layer influenced by friction and geography, meanwhile, analysis indicates  相似文献

围填海累积效应对钦州湾水动力环境的影响   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
根据海图资料和卫星影像,确定了钦州湾2004年与2019年两个历史时期的岸线与水深。基于无结构网格有限体积海洋模型建立高精度的水动力模型,分析了近15年来围填海工程的累积效应对钦州湾水动力环境的影响。结果表明:地形与岸线的改变使得钦州湾外湾潮汐振幅减小、茅尾海内潮汐振幅增加;潮流场改变明显,外湾中部流速普遍增加,围填区域潮流减弱明显,但潮流性质未改变,依然为落潮占优;钦州湾纳潮量有所减小,主要发生在外湾区域;而余流减弱,并且出现涡旋,这不利于水体的向外扩散。通过染色实验发现,钦州湾水体半交换周期在有无径流的情况下都明显增长,且在围填海区域水交换能力显著下降。  相似文献

研究罗源湾潮汐、潮流及潮波的传播,对罗源湾的开发及海岸工程建设具有一定的实际意义。为系统地了解罗源湾的潮汐、潮流状况,采用不规则三角形网格的分步杂交法,建立罗源湾海域二维变边界潮流数值模型,通过计算得到同潮时线与等振幅线、潮流椭圆、潮致欧拉余流分布及不同时刻潮流场分布。该海湾海流具往复流性质,潮汐、潮流均属正规半日潮,最大流速发生在可门水道。  相似文献

Two new types of mechanism for the generation of tidal residual flow are revealed with the use of a hydraulic model experiment. A remarkable anticlockwise tidal residual circulation is formed in a model bay due to the presence of a tidal current, the Coriolis force and a horizontal boundary. A similar circulation is also formed due to the presence of a bottom slope, a horizontal boundary and a tidal current which flows normal to the inclination of the bottom slope. The residual circulation in the Sea of Iyo in the Seto Inland Sea is considered to be due to a combination of the effects of the Coriolis force, a bottom slope, a horizontal boundary and the tidal current. We classified some of the generation mechanisms of tidal residual flow which have been described to date into seven types on the basis of vorticity considerations.  相似文献

基于海床基观测平台,对2010年秋季辽东湾东部海域的海流开展连续观测,并运用谱分析和调和分析方法对该海域的潮流和余流特征进行研究。结果表明:辽东湾东北部潮流属于规则半日潮流;而中东部和东南部两站潮流属于不规则半日潮流。三个站位优势分潮流均为M2分潮,并呈往复流特征;其最大流速介于38~55 cm/s之间,流向为东北-西南,最大流速发生时刻随深度增加而提前。最大可能潮流流速介于91~142 cm/s,流向与岸线走向大致平行。秋季辽东湾东部沿岸余流整体较弱,流向以西南向为主,从北往南三站余流流速分别约为3~5 cm/s,3 cm/s和2~5.5 cm/s。  相似文献

本文采用ECOM-SED模式、算子分裂法和“干、湿”点法建立了胶州湾变边界数值模型。从潮、余流、潮波系统和潮流能几方面预测分析了胶州湾前湾追地对海洋水动力的影响。结果表明,前湾填海对胶州湾的潮波系统影响甚微,振幅和位相的变化都在1%以内。但是在前湾和工程附近海域潮流和余流变化比较大,其他海域的潮流和余流变化不大,潮流流速变化为1%左右,余流流速变化为3.14%~9.16%。填海后,内湾口和外湾口附近潮能通量增加2.6%~5.24%,前湾和工程局部区域潮能通量减小20.21%~87.23%。  相似文献

乐清湾是一个与东海相通的半封闭型强潮海湾。通过对1934,1968和1992年的海图对比研究表明:近期乐清湾各等深线所围水域面积持续减小。后一阶段,围垦使岸线推进速度加快,滩涂面积由前一阶段的不断增加转变为不断减小。1934到1968年,西南部最大潮滩华岐潮滩岸线和零米线平均外推速率分别为4.88m/a和13.24m/a;1968到1992年平均淤进速率分别为6.17m/a和8.08m/a。实地采样分析表明:表层水样平均悬沙浓度为0.1043kg/m3,从湾顶向湾口呈不断增加的趋势。悬沙浓度虽较低,但湾内处于低能动力沉积环境,有利于细颗粒沉积物落淤,这是湾内地貌演变的要因。长江入海南移和陆架区再悬浮的细颗粒物质是乐清湾主要的泥沙来源。泥沙自然淤积和人类活动影响是近期乐清湾大部分岸线处于淤进状态的原因。漩门二期工程前后乐清湾的纳潮量减小了5.73%,落潮流相对携沙能力降低为工程前的79%。而根据实测落潮平均流速计算得围垦后落潮流的相对携沙能力减弱为原来的54%。而从1934年到漩门二期围垦工程后,纳潮量减小了22.57%。开辟盐田和围垦造陆工程等人类活动,对海岸演变的影响显著。  相似文献

在胶州湾湾口、西侧、中心、东侧、北侧湾顶五个区域布设测站,利用2018年冬季至2020年秋季潮位、海流等监测数据,基于最小二乘法进行调和分析计算,并结合垂线平均流速流向、可能最大流速、水质点可能最大运移距离等计算模型,研究分析了胶州湾海流特征。结果表明,各区域潮流类型系数均小于0.5,M2分潮椭圆率绝对值均不超过0.1,接近于0,故胶州湾潮流性质为正规半日潮流,潮流运动形式以往复型为主。湾口区域余流、可能最大流速、水质点可能最大运移位移均最大。不同季节余流流速和流向的差异没有明显的规律性,除湾区西侧测站外,其余位置不同季节余流流向整体上有固定朝向:湾口处东偏北、中心站西偏北、东侧站南偏东、北侧湾顶站东偏北。靠近岸边的湾口、东侧和北侧湾顶站余流流向与邻近海岸垂直。在垂直方向上,各测站可能最大流速和水质点可能最大运移距离由表层至底层整体上呈减小趋势,流向基本一致。  相似文献

The structure of the tidal residual current due to vertical viscosity is investigated both theoretically and experimentally. It is found that the interaction between the vertical component of the oscillatory current and vorticity,wT 1 T 1, induces a strong residual constituent outside the boundary layer and forms a circulation which is quite similar to gravitational circulation and that the vertical profile of the oscillatory current not only affects the magnitude of the residual constituent but also decides the direction of the circulation. In the hydraulic experiment, the residual constituent is larger than the theoretical prediction and a phase difference in the oscillatory constituent between the upper and lower layer is observed. The amplitude difference is caused by the strong nonlinear effect of the residual constituent and the phase difference is caused by the interaction between the residual current and the basic oscillatory current. The principal generating force of the residual constituent outside the boundary layer,wT 1 T 1, is observed in a bay where the tide is nearly a standing wave.  相似文献

The horizontal circulations caused by the combined effect of the bottom oscillatory boundary layer (Stokes layer) and a sloping bed have been investigated both theoretically and experimentally. The generating mechanism is analogous to that for horizontal circulation induced by wind or by density variation. 基于FVCOM的泉州湾海域三维潮汐与潮流数值模拟   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
基于FVCOM海洋数值模式,采用非结构的三角形网格和有限体积法,建立了泉州湾海域高分辨率(26 m)的三维潮汐、潮流数值模型。模拟结果同2个验潮站和3个连续测流站的观测资料符合良好,较好地反映了泉州湾内潮汐、潮流运动的变化状况和分布特征,给出了M2、S2、K1、O1 4个主要分潮的同潮图、表层潮流椭圆分布,以及模拟区域内最大可能潮差、表层最大可能潮流流速和潮余流分布。分析表明,4个分潮的最大潮汐振幅和迟角差分别为219 cm和19°,85 cm和25°,26 cm和12°,26 cm和9°;石湖港以东海域的潮波为逆时针旋转的驻波,以西海域为前进波;最大可能潮差由湾口的8.0m向湾内增加至8.8 m。湾内潮流类型为规则半日潮流,落潮最大流速大于涨潮最大流速,北乌礁水道为强流区,表层最大可能潮流流速为2.4 m/s;湾口潮流运动以逆时针方向的旋转流形式为主,湾内的潮流运动以往复流形式为主,长轴走向主要沿着水道方向,与等深线和海岸线平行;四个分潮流表层最大流速分别为1.4 m/s,0.58 m/s,0.12 m/s,0.10 m/s。余流流速大小与潮流强弱有密切的联系,表、中、底层最大余流流速分别为26 cm/s,20 cm/s,16 cm/s,三者在水平方向基本呈北进南出的分布形态。  相似文献

东山湾是福建重要的天然良港.根据2008年8月的3个潮次11个测站实测潮流资料结合历史调查资料分析东山湾的潮流性质、运动形式、涨落潮流特性、余流等特征.结果表明,东山湾主要属于往复式的规则半日潮流,潮流作用较强,其口门处和湾内水道上的实测最大流速一般大于100cm/s.持续时间较长的风对东山湾的余流较大的影响,大潮期间湾内存在明显的反时针的水平余环流系统.  相似文献
