船载低频多波束测深声纳、侧扫声纳可以对深海海底地形地貌进行快速、高效、大面积探测,但其测量精度有限,难以满足深海科学考察、资源勘探开发对高精度海底地形地貌的需求。随着各类大深度水下移动载体(如深海拖体、水下机器人、遥控潜器和载人潜水器)的涌现,特别是各类耐高压测绘声纳的商业化,使大深度近海底精细地形地貌探测成为可能。首先分析了多波束测深声纳、侧扫声纳和测深侧扫声纳等3种测绘声纳的基本原理,然后分别介绍了各类测绘声纳的国内外典型商业化产品,并通过典型实例分析了其在大深度近海底精细测绘中的应用情况。 相似文献

In order to enhance the efficiency of the interpretation of surface images obtained with a side scanning sonar, it is proposed to supplement the standard processing software with a program for obtaining acoustic stereo images. Examples of such images synthesized with this program using the data of a bottom sonar survey with a side scanning sonar and an echo sounder are presented. The cases are considered when the information on the bottom relief contained in sonar images obtained with a standard side scanning sonar or its modifications can be used instead of the data of an echo sounding survey. 相似文献

A banner bank off the north coast of the Chengshan Headland,Shandong Peninsula,has been described on the basis of echo sounder bathymetry,side-scan sonar and high-resolution seismic data sets.The bank is in NWW direction,approximately parallel to the coastline.The bank consists of sandy silt or clayed silt.Sand waves and megaripples are observed on the north side,which result from strong tidal currents around the headland and storm waves in winter.These bed forms indicate that the bank is influenced by the modern hydrodynamics.The bank is separated from the coast and Holocene subaqueous clinoform around the Shandong Peninsula in its east part.High-resolution seismic profiles reveal that the bank was formed during two periods:the earlier seismic unit Ua,and later seismic units Ub and Uc which overlays Ua with erosional surfaces on its south side and north side,respectively.As comparing with the clinoform,the bank has a different internal architecture.In the west of the bank,however,topography and surface sediment characteristics suggest that the bank links to the clinoform.The authors propose that seismic Ua is a residual part of early clinoform deposit.After the sediments in the north and south of Ua were eroded by strong currents,the Ub and Uc started to deposit probably by a complex hydrodynamic process.These results provide new insights into the evolution of the bank and its relation with the Holocene subqueous clinoform. 相似文献

A correlation log is a type of sonar system used for measuring the velocity of a surface vessel or of a submersible vehicle. The operation is similar to that of a conventional echo sounder, and the direction of acoustic propagation is vertically downwards. Since a correlation log can be used for either bottom tracking or water tracking, it is of interest to relate the transmitted power level to the echo levels from both bottom and volume scatterers, which is a means of predicting the log's performance. Experimental bottom relief survey technology and investigation results are presented. Investigations were conducted over about six years at several White-Sea river estuaries onboard the R/V Ecolog. Geomorphology data was obtained using an instrument complex that included an MKS, Microsound side scan sonar, AP-5 acoustic profiler, and LMS-350 echo sounder. An echo sounder has been developed with features ideally suited to oceanographic and fisheries research. Instruments commonly used for such research are inaccurate, limited in dynamic range, unstable, and generally inflexible. An effort has been made to overcome these deficiencies with the sonar system discussed here. The echo sounder to be described has a time-varied-gain receiver (20 log_{10} R or40 log_{10} R + 2alphaR ) accurate to withinpm0.5 dB over a 100-dB range. The equivalent dynamic range is 140 dB (the ratio of the maximum signal at minimum gain to the equivalent input noise at maximum gain in a 4-kHz bandwidth). The temperature stability ispm0.5 dB from10deg to35deg C at any range. Operating parameters, including frequency, can be easily altered to accommodate a variety of needs. 相似文献
