An anticorrosion method using wet DZ1 tape and electrochemical cathodic protection is suggested. The advantages of this method over internationally patented sealing techniques lie in its electrochemically open system, high adsorption of OH with resultant rise of pH, exchangeable electrolytes, simple pretreatment of the steel pipe, simplicity of application, lower cost, better protection even under ebb tide, and low transmission of oxygen and corrosion products. The high strength low-alloy steels are welded by underwater wet welding with stainless steel electrodes. The micro-structural and electrochemical corrosion study of base metal (BM), weld zone (WZ) and heat affected zone (HAZ) are carried out to understand the influence of the corrosion product layer generated on the high strength low-alloy steels welded by underwater wet welding with stainless steel electrodes, methods used including, potentiodynamic polarization, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results indicate that the WZ acts as a cathode and there is no corrosion product on it throughout the immersion period in seawater. The HAZ and BM acts as anodes. The corrosion rates of the HAZ and BM change with the immersion time increasing. In the initial immersion period, the HAZ has the highest corrosion rate because it has a coarse tempered martensite structure and the BM exhibites a microstructure with very fine grains of ferrite and pearlite. After a period of immersion, the BM has the highest corrosion rate. The reason is that the corrosion product layer on the HAZ is dense and has a better protective property while that on the BM is loose and can not inhibit the diffusion of oxygen.  相似文献

Corrosion of marine steel constructions may vary to a considerable extent owing to their different locations such as atmosphere, splash zone, tidal zone, immersion zone and mud zone[7, 8]. A rather lengthy hanging steel sample is needed to test its corrosion resistance in various environments. But it is cumbersome to handle and not convenient for frequent observation and maintenance. A new research proposal was introduced aiming at solving the fundamental theory for reducing the risk of hydrogen embrittlement(HE) in high-strength steels by utilizing hydrogen-consuming microorganisms.The superior performance of high-strength steel can meet the material strength requirements for remote deep-sea marine engineering development.Due to the heavy corrosive marine environment,steel structures must be protected by cathodic protection.However,high-strength steel is sensitive to stress corrosion cracking and HE,and cathodic protection can promote hydrogen permeation into steel.Hydrogen-consuming microorganisms are widespread in the natural environment and they utilize the energy of hydrogen oxidation to survive.If we could make use of the hydrogen-consuming function of microorganisms to consume the hydrogen generated during the cathodic protection process,then the potential for cathodic protection can be reasonably lowered,ideally protecting the steel and simultaneously reducing the possibility of HE.  相似文献

The surface of ZrO2 nanoparticles was modified by styrene coupling grafting method to improve the dispersion and interaction of the nanoparticles with the epoxy coating in which the modified ZrO2 nanoparticles were used as an additive. The grafting performance and microstructure of the nano- ZrO2/epoxy coating were analyzed by Fourier transformation infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and scanning electron microscopy. The corrosion behavior of the nano-ZrO2/epoxy coating on mild steel was evaluated in neutral 3.5 wt% NaC1 solution using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Both the coating capacitance and coating resistance fitted by the equivalent circuit from EIS were used to evaluate the protective performance of the coating towards the mild steel. The results show a superior stability and efficient corrosion protection by the modified ZrO2 nanoparticles. The epoxy coating containing 2 wt% modified ZrO2 nanoparticles exhibited the best corrosion performance among all the coating specimens. This research may provide an insight into the protection of mild steel using modified epoxy coatings.  相似文献

Smart coating for corrosion protection of metal materials(steel,magnesium,aluminum and their alloys) has drawn great attention because of their capacity to prevent crack propagation in the protective coating by releasing functional molecules(healing agents or corrosion inhibitors) on demand from delivery vehicle,that is,micro/nanocontainer made up of a shell and core material or a coating layer,in a controllable manner.Herein,we summarize the recent achievements during the last 10 years in the field of the micro/nanocontainer with different types of stimuli-responsive properties,i.e.,pH,electrochemical potential,redox,aggressive corrosive ions,heat,light,magnetic field,and mechanical impact,for smart anticorrosion coating.The state-of-the-art design and fabrication of micro/nanocontainer are emphasized with detailed examples.  相似文献

Defects in protective-coating systems on steel surfaces are inevitable in practical engineering applications.A composite coating system,including a primer,middle coat and topcoat,were used to protect carbon steel from corrosion in a marine environment.Two environmental additives,glass fi bers and thiourea,were applied in the middle coat to modify the coating system.The long-term corrosion durability and self-healing ability of the scratched coating system were evaluated by multiple methods.Results of the electrochemical technologies indicated that the coating system that contained 0.5 wt.%fi bers and 0.5 wt.%thiourea presented good corrosion protection and self-healing for carbon steel when immersed in 3.5%Na Cl for 120 d.Evolution of localized corrosion factors with time,as obtained from the current distribution showed that fi bers combined with thiourea could inhibit the occurrence of local corrosion in scratched coating systems and retarded the corrosion development signifi cantly.Surface characterization suggested that adequate thiourea could be absorbed uniformly on fi bers for a long time to play an important role in protecting the carbon steel.Finally,schematic models were established to demonstrate the action of fi bers and thiourea on the exposed surface of the carbon steel and the scratched coating system in the entire deterioration process.  相似文献

The effects of ferrous ions on cathodic and anodic polarization behavior of the X60 steel in CO2 saturated salty water were studied by potentio-dynamic polarization method. The results show that the reducing current peak of cathodic polarization is affected significantly if FeCl2 is added to the salty solution of controlled pH, but not the anodic polarization. It is considered that the ferrous ions accelerate the formation of a protective ferrous carbonate film. Films formed by addition of ferrous ions and those formed by ferrous ions produced from steel corrosion have the same forming mechanism. The former can fully meet the formative condition of the film and can play the role of inhibitor.  相似文献

Considering the continuous exploitation of marine resources,it is very important to study the anticorrosion performance and durability of zinc coated streel(ZCS) because its increasing use as reinforcements in seawater.Tafel polarization curves and linear polarization curves combined with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) were employed to evaluate the corrosion performance of ZCS at Qingdao test station during long-term immersion in seawater.The results indicated that the corrosion rate of the ZCS increased obviously with immersion time in seawater.The corrosion products that formed on the zinc coated steel were loose and porous,and were mainly composed of Zn_5(OH)_8Cl_2,Zns(OH)_6(CO_3)_2,and ZnO.Pitting corrosion occurred on the steel surface in neutral seawater,and the rate of ZCS corrosion decreased with increasing pH.  相似文献

M2 tide and density residual currents in the Bohai Sea were examined using the Blumberg and Mellor 3D nonlinear numerical coastal circulation model incorporating,Mellor and Yamada level 2.5 turbulent closure model.The tidal results showed good agreement with previous work.The model results indicated that the density residual currents are robust in summer;and that at the transition zone between well-mixed and stratified water,the horizontal velocity is high and the vertical velocity is positive.  相似文献

The through one year corrosion potential and polarization resistance for 3 kinds of steels in seabottom sediment of Liaodong Bay were measured with the “MD” method. The measurements will have some theoretical and practical values. The theoretical value lies in that the recorded changing process of the practical corrosion case can be basis for indoor discussion and electrochemical research on the corrosion process. The practical value lies in that the obtained data can be basis for designing and controlling electrochemical protection systems. 利用龙口市20年(1984~2004)来的12个时相的遥感图像,采用数字图像处理技术和目视解译方法提取了不同年代的海岸线、高潮线和低潮线。通过与基准线和人为因素的对比分析,研究海岸带的时空变化规律,及影响海岸带时空变化的主导因素。研究结果表明,龙口市海岸带总体变化趋势是:除人工海岸外,海岸带趋于向陆地移动,岸滩变窄、变低,潮间带变宽、坡度变缓,防潮能力下降;人类活动是导致海岸带时空演变的最根本因素,包括沿海基础设施的建设、农业结构的调整、采砂业的无序发展。其次是自然因素,包括沿岸流侵蚀与堆积以及海水入侵等。  相似文献

Based on seawater immersion,drying-wetting cycles,carbonation and drying-wetting cycles for coral aggregate sea-water concrete(CASC)with different strength grades,the effect of carbonation and drying-wetting cycles on chloride diffusion be-havior of CASC is studied.The results show that the free surface chloride concentration(Cs),free chloride diffusion coefficient(Df)and time-dependent index(m)of CASC in the drying-wetting cycles is obviously higher than that in seawater immersion.The Df and m of CASC of carbonation and drying-wetting cycles is higher than that in the drying-wetting cycles.Carbonation increases the Df and m of CASC,which is against CASC to resist chloride corrosion.The corrosion possibility of CASC structures in different ex-posed areas is as follows:splash zone(carbonation and drying-wetting cycles)>tidal zone(drying-wetting cycles)>underwater zone(seawater immersion).Besides,the chloride diffusion rate of C65-CASC is 17.8%-63.4%higher than that of C65-ordinary aggre-gate concrete(OAC)in seawater immersion(underwater zone).Therefore,anti-corrosion measures should be adopted to improve the service life of CASC structure in the oceanic environment.  相似文献

为了研究不同腐蚀条件下的焊缝磁记忆特征信号,对20号钢板状焊缝试件进行残余应力腐蚀、35kN恒拉伸应力腐蚀和35kN静载、25kN动载拉拉腐蚀疲劳对比实验,分析焊缝正、反面磁记忆信号的变化规律,获得焊缝腐蚀发展进程中应力腐蚀与腐蚀疲劳各自对应的磁记忆特征信号.结果表明:在应力腐蚀状态下,不同拉伸载荷对应的磁记忆信号特征不同,35kN恒拉伸应力腐蚀与残余应力腐蚀相比,焊缝区磁记忆信号峰峰值及其梯度更大,磁记忆曲线分布的分散度更大;35kN静载、25kN动载拉拉腐蚀疲劳与35kN恒拉伸应力腐蚀相比,焊缝区磁记忆曲线上下波动多,过零点次数多,磁记忆曲线分布的分散度小.这为磁记忆技术在焊缝工程检测的定性与定量分析提供基础数据.  相似文献
