基于船舶操纵性运动方程和拖缆的三维动力学运动方程,提出了被拖点位置匹配的方法,建立了拖船—拖缆—被拖船系统整体非线性拖带动力学模型。为了考察被拖船航向稳定性与横向稳性的关系以及波浪载荷作用的影响,被拖船采用水平面四自由度运动方程,并引入了波浪的作用力和力矩。拖船采用PD控制方法较真实地模拟了拖船航向改变的运动过程。对一个拖船—拖缆—被拖船系统(5 000 t的拖船和3 000 t的被拖船)在时域内进行了规则波浪作用下拖带运动的模拟,计算结果表明被拖带船舶在波浪中运动呈现运动稳定、不稳定和临界状态3种可能的特性。根据模拟计算结果,认为波浪中拖带航向稳定是被拖带船舶保持稳性的必要条件。  相似文献

Based on the fundamental equation of flexible cable dynamics for a towed system, an easily solved mathematical model is set up in this paper by means of appropriate simplification. Several regular patterns of spatial motion of towed flexible cables in water are obtained through numerical simulation with the finite difference method, and then modification and verification by trial results at sea. A technical support is provided for the towing ship to maneuver properly when a flexible cable is towed. Furthermore, the relations between two towed flexible cables, which are towed simultaneously by a ship, are investigated. The results show that the ship towing two flexible cables is safe under the suggested arrangement of two winches for the towing system, and the coiling/uncoiling sequences of the cables as well as the suggested way of maneuvering.  相似文献

The behavior of a long cable towed at slow speeds through the ocean depends in a complex fashion on the path followed by the towing ship relative to the water. A cable simulation program was used to characterize the response of the cable by using idealized towing ship maneuvers as input to the program. The response of the cable was noted and it was found that the behavior of the cable was strongly dependent on the fundamental period of the towing vessel maneuvers. Sinusoidal deviations of the towing ship from a straight towing track resulted in delayed and reduced excursions of the towed vehicle from the tract; the estimated response ratio varied from 0·002 to 0·800, depending both on the period of the deviations (periods ranged from 5·5 to 4·0 hr) and on the towing depth (2 or 6 km). The ship's speed was 3 km/hr. The time lag between ship motion and vehicle response was approximately 0·5 hr for the shallow case and 1·3 hr for the deep case. Simulations runs of a low dragk (faired) cable showed that the behavior of the vehicle when towed at a depth of 6 km was similar to that obtained with a conventional cable at 2 km depth. The response of the towed vehicle to a right-angle turn of the towing ship was investigated and a generalized model of the response developed. The effects of a controllable side force on the towed vehicle were also simulated and it was noted that a deviation (2-hr period) of the towed vehicle from a straight-line track could be reduced from 40 to 2 m by impressing a side force on the vehicle with an average magnitude of 150 newtons (30 lb).  相似文献

An experimental set-up is developed and proved to be effective for laboratory study of an underwater towed system. The experimental technique gives a practical method for monitoring the kinematic and dynamic performance of an underwater towed system in a ship towing tank. Both the theoretical and experimental results in the investigation indicate that the hydrodynamic response of a towed vehicle to the wave induced motion of a towing ship can be significantly reduced by applying a two-part tow method. A comparison of the numerical and experimental results in the investigation demonstrates that the numerical simulation results are close to the experimental data, overall agreement between experimental and theoretical results is satisfactory. The results qualitatively verify the mathematical model of a two-part underwater towed system proposed by Wu and Chwang [Wu, J., Chwang, A.T., 2000. 海洋平台由拖船拖至工作地点,计算海洋平台的湿拖阻力在实际工程应用中具有重要意义。采用实验和数值模拟两种方法进行桁架式Spar平台的湿拖阻力性能研究,并将两种结果进行对比。并分析了桁架式Spar平台的垂荡板间流场的变化规律。研究结果表明,Spar平台的湿拖阻力中,摩擦阻力所占总阻力的比例小于10%;在平台拖曳运动的前几秒中,垂荡板间流体剧烈运动,速度和压力显著变化,随后就运动慢慢变缓;Spar平台在低速拖曳时会产生明显的波浪,尾部有回流。  相似文献

A towing experiment was conducted using a modulated wave train to investigate the vertical bending responses of a hydro-structural container ship model. In the experiment, a spatially periodic modulated wave train, as a model of a freak wave in successive high waves mimicking the so-called three sisters, was generated by the recently established higher-order spectral method wave generation (HOSM-WG) method. HOSM-WG enables us to control the location and timing of the maximum crest height in a wave tank. With precise control of the towing carriage, an experiment was conducted in which the timing of the encounters between the ship model and the modulated wave train was accurately determined. The maximum sagging moment (SM) was found to increase in proportion with the encounter wave height. However, because of differences in the relative depth of the fore and aft troughs, the maximum SM is highly variable for a given wave height. The temporal wave-geometry evolution caused the relative trough-depth to vary significantly within a wave period in the vicinity of the maximum crest height. As a result, depending on the encounter timing, the SM varied considerably for a given wave height. The temporal variation of the wave geometry is a robust feature of a modulated wave train and is common between the spatially periodic and temporally periodic modulated wave trains.  相似文献

Ice resistance prediction is a critical issue in the preliminary design of ships navigating brash ice conditions, which is closely related to the safety of a ship to navigate encounter brash ice, and has significant effects on the kinds of propellers and motor power needed. In research on this topic, model tests and full-scale tests on ships have thus far been the primary approaches. In recent years, the application of the finite element method (FEM) has also attracted interest. Some researchers have conducted numerical simulations on ship–ice interactions using the fluid–structure interaction (FSI) method. This study used this method to predict and analyze the resistance of an ice-going ship, and compared the results with those of model ship tests conducted in a towing tank with synthetic ice to discuss the feasibility of the FEM. A numerical simulation and experimental methods were used to predict the brash ice resistance of an ice-going container ship model in a condition with three concentrations of brash ice (60%, 80%, and 90%). A comparison of the results yielded satisfactory agreement between the numerical simulation and the experiments in terms of both observed phenomena and resistance values, indicating that the proposed numerical simulation has significant potential for use in related studies in the future.  相似文献

Conventional weather routing is defined as determining the optimum route for a merchant ship such that distance or duration of the voyage and fuel consumption are minimized. If the purpose of a voyage is offshore transfer, the term “optimum” includes aspects of operational safety such as towing tension and six-degree motion response of tow. This paper presents the development of a weather routing method for determining the optimal route, which is defined here as the route with minimum average towing tension with a restricted time of arrival and significant motion response. A genetic algorithm is applied to solve optimization problems. Optimized routes of this research have an advantage in towing tension and satisfy motion constraints. The result of this study can contribute to safe and effective planning for offshore transport.  相似文献

目前,由于串靠外输方式具有对船舶吨位差异及装载状况要求小、海况适应力强、系泊力小、解脱迅速等优点,而被广泛运用于浮式生产储卸油平台(FPSO)外输作业中。串靠提油作业时,位于穿梭油轮尾部的拖轮能够提供的最大有效拖力直接影响到了作业的安全性。为完善串靠提油作业时所需拖轮拖力的研究,提出更加合理的拖轮选型理论依据,就需要对拖力进行数值计算。首先,对FPSO与穿梭油轮串靠外输系统绕系泊单点旋转时所受风、浪、流等环境载荷进行全面考虑,建立了准动态受力平衡模型;然后,运用经验公式及AQWA软件计算出环境载荷大小,并依据计算结果拟合出环境载荷曲线;最后,配合受力平衡方程求解出能够保障作业安全进行所需的最小拖力。依照此方法计算所得拖力选取的拖轮能够兼顾作业安全性和使用经济性。  相似文献

A three-dimensional model of a two-part underwater towed system is studied. In the model, the governing equations of cables are established based on the Ablow and Schechter method. The boundary conditions for the two-part underwater towed system are derived. The six-degrees-of-freedom equations of motion for submarine simulations are adopted to predict the hydrodynamic performance of a towed vehicle. The established governing equations for the system are then solved using a central finite difference method. In this paper several algorithms are used to solve this special form of finite difference equations. The results in this paper indicate that the two-part underwater towed system improves the dynamic behavior of the towed vehicle and is an easy way to decouple the towing ship motion from the towed vehicle. Because the model uses an implicit time integration, it is stable for large time steps and is an effective algorithm for simulation of a large-scale underwater towed system.  相似文献

Bottom ventilated cavitation has been proven as a very effective drag reduction technology for river ships and planning boats. The ability of this technology to withstand the sea wave impact usual for seagoing ships depends on the ship bottom shape and could be enhanced by some active flow control devices. Therefore, there is the need in numerical tools to estimate the effects of bottom changes and to design such devices. The fundamentals of active flow control for the ship bottom ventilated cavitation are considered here on the basis of a special model of cavitating flows. This model takes into account the air compressibility in the cavity, as well as the multi-frequency nature of the incoming flow in wavy seas and of the cavity response on perturbations by incoming flow. The numerical method corresponding to this model was developed and widely manifested with an example of a ship model tested in a towing tank at Froude numbers between 0.4 and 0.7.The impact of waves in head seas and following seas on cavities has been studied in the range of wavelengths from 0.45 to 1.2 of the model (or ship) length. An oscillating cavitator-spoiler was considered as the flow controlling devices in this study. The oscillation magnitude and the phase shift between cavitator oscillation and the incoming waves have been varied to determine the best flow control parameters. The main results of the provided computational analysis include oscillations of cavity surface, of the pressure in cavity and of the moment of hydrodynamic load on the cavitator. The major part of computations has been carried out for the flap oscillating at the frequency coinciding with the wave frequency, but the effect of a frequency shift is also analyzed.  相似文献

Increasing propulsion efficiency, safety, comfort and operability are of the great importance, especially for small ships operating on windy sites like the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. Seakeeping performance of ships and offshore structures can be analysed by different methods and the one that is becoming increasingly important is CFD RANS. The recent development of simulation techniques together with rising HPC accessibility enables performance of advanced seakeeping simulations for ships in a full scale. The paper presents CFD seakeeping analysis for a case study vessel in two variants: V-shaped bulbous bow hull form (as built) and innovative hull form (X-bow type). The study presents the influence of redesigning the ship on selected seakeeping aspects. The advanced CFD model, with the application of overset mesh technique, was described in detail. Selected numerical results were validated on the basis of experimental testing in a towing tank and showed good agreement. The approach demonstrated here of performing the CFD seakeeping simulations for the analysis of ship performance in a full scale and close to real loading conditions has direct application to the design process as well as in determination of optimal operational parameters of any ship.  相似文献

为了解决深海拖曳系统定位异常、不连续以及误差积累的问题,提出了一种联合惯性导航系统(INS)和超短基线定位系统(USBL)的组合定位方法,利用在航声线跟踪实现USBL的高精度定位,顾及INS和USBL系统的互补性,并结合Kalman滤波构建了INS+USBL的组合定位模型。将该组合定位模型应用于"向阳红01"船深海拖曳系统在南海的定位实验并与USBL的定位结果比对,实验表明,组合定位方法有效地解决了深拖系统定位异常且不连续问题。INS+USBL组合定位方法可以满足深海拖曳系统的稳健可靠定位,对于深远海定位具有重要意义。  相似文献

An indirect tension measurement method of a towing cable in midwater or a buoy cable is proposed using underwater acoustic positioning systems, etc., to give the in-water cable tension. The most simple and traditional cable tension measurement method is to apply a mechanical tension meter at the one end of the cable, but the method has limits in the aspects of continuous monitoring and manual operation. However, the technique in this study is to apply the Pode's analysis of the equilibrium configuration and tension of a flexible twine, in which the cable tension is given as a function of the geometric positions of both ends of the cable. A set of nonlinear integral equations is formulated and solved numerically by the Newton-Raphson method. Then the inclination angles and the tensions at the lower and the upper ends of the cable could be obtained. The derived method enables us to track a towed object, to measure the tension of a towing cable or a buoy cable and is also applicable to the remotely operated vehicle (ROV) tethered to a mother ship.  相似文献

水下拖缆物理参数不均匀会影响拖缆的动力特性,研究非均匀拖缆的参数变化对拖缆动力特性的影响有一定的工程实际意义。建立了拖曳系统运动的三维数学模型,推导出了水下非均匀拖缆的稳态运动控制方程,在首尾两端加上相应的定解条件,直接求得或使用嵌套二分法求得非均匀拖缆在端点的初始值,进而求解稳态动力学方程。借助文献中的拖缆—海底拖车系统算例,通过计算结果的对比,验证了数学模型及计算方法的正确性。通过四阶龙格库塔法进行数值仿真计算,得到了稳态解,分析了非均匀拖缆自身物理参数变化对缆绳系统稳态运动的影响。结果表明,非均匀拖缆的切向阻力系数、法向阻力系数、直径和密度变化会影响稳态缆形和张力分布,影响的程度各不相同。最后给出了两个尾拖船系统非均匀拖缆的稳态运动算例。  相似文献

The effects of free-surface waves on the floating structures are of great importance in the offshore industry. Among the six degrees of motions of a surface ship the absence of restoring forces in surge, sway and yaw led to critical situations for moored ships in the recent times. The order of forces in horizontal plane and their exciting frequencies are matters of interest. The resonance with the presence of moored chains led to many accidents in the recent past. The lines in dry conditions may not give good damping and in wet condition they may trigger the system to chaotic motions and jumps. Two different loading conditions of a container ship model are tested with waves in laboratory conditions in two different drafts. The mooring lines are chosen as per scale law and the energy under the response spectrum is determined from the plots. The results give new insights into the movement of a berthed ships subjected to waves. Response of the moored ship to different loading conditions in different water depths are discussed in this paper. The paper gives the order of energy due to first-order and slowly varying movement of a berthed container model in a towing tank.  相似文献

The hydrodynamic forces and moments that act on a towed fish are described and related to fundamental static and dynamic towing characteristics. It is shown that, when the fin height is reduced almost to the point giving neutral stability in pitch, the fish maintains almost constant pitch attitude while it is forced to heave or surge by ship motion transmitted down the cable.Wind tunnel tests provide the necessary hydrodynamic data for a computer simulation in two dimensions of the Bath Mk 3 sonar fish towed on faired cable. The results show that the magnitude of the pitch attitude variations of the fish can be greatly reduced by decreasing the fin size, with further reduction being possible by correctly locating the pointwhere the cable is attached to the fish. It is also shown that decreasing the fin size reduces the magnitude of the tension variations in the cable, thereby lowering the probability that the cable will go slack.These results generalise to a large class of towed systems using either or bare cable, and a formula is included by which the magnitude of the ship-inducing pitching motion of a fish can be estimated, given the necessary hydrodynamic data.Possible difficulties associated with towing a low stability fish are considered and a method is included for assessing the minimum stability likely to be necessary to achieved satisfactory towing behaviour.  相似文献

为研究西沙宣德环礁海底地貌特征及珊瑚分布情况,采用舷挂侧扫拖鱼的方式对环礁区域海底进行地貌扫测,从采集的侧扫声呐图像上可以识别出环礁区域珊瑚分布情况及珊瑚礁区地貌特征,利用侧扫声呐图像识别方法结合实物样品比对可以圈定出珊瑚分布范围、暗礁区域及环礁区域底质类型分布,采用基本的数学处理方法定量分析了水下珊瑚礁体的海底高度及疑似沉船的大小,分析了侧扫声呐图像显示的调查船转向效应。  相似文献

Computer codes implementing three different numerical methods for the prediction of ship squat at transcritical speeds in shallow open-water are tested. SlenderFlow is a potential flow code specifically for ships in very shallow water, based on partially dispersive slender body theory. Flotilla is a potential flow code based on fully dispersive thin-ship theory. Rapid is a general nonlinear free-surface panel code. Code predictions of transcritical sinkage, trim and resistance in laterally unrestricted water were compared to the experimental results of Graff (1964) for two Taylor series hulls in a finite-width towing tank. Once tank width effects were accounted for, each of the three codes was found to give good predictions within the valid range of the underlying theory. A simple method for estimating transcritical wave resistance from trim is presented.  相似文献
