The large-diameter cylinder structure, which is made of large successive bottomless cylinders placed on foundation bed or partly driven into soil, is a recently developed retaining structure in China. It can be used in port, coastal and off-shore works. The method for stability analysis of the large-diameter cylinder structure, especially for stability analysis of the embedded large-diameter cylinder structure, is an important issue. In this paper, an idea is presented that is, em-bedded large-diameter cylinder quays can be divided into two types, i.e. the gravity wall type and the cylinder pile wall type. A method for stability analysis of the large-diameter cylinder quay of the cylinder pile wall type is developed and a method for stability analysis of the large-diameter cylinder quay of the gravity wall type is also proposed. The effect of sig-nificant parameters on the stability of the large-diameter cylinder quay of the cylinder pile wall type is investigated through numerical calculation.  相似文献

简述了对插入式大直径薄壁圆筒进行数值分析采用的力学机制,用弹簧元模拟薄壁圆筒与地基土体接触面间的连接所形成一种简化的数值计算模型,运用大型通用有限元软件ANSYS进行二次开发后对其进行数值计算与分析,比较了对筒内外淤泥粘土采用不同加固处理方法以及考虑相邻圆筒间采用不同边界约束条件时,对圆筒的应力和稳定性的影响。通过实例计算,验证了该数值模型的有效性与可行性,并得出一些有益结论。  相似文献

In this paper, based on the linear wave theory, the interaction of short-crested waves with a concentric dual cylindrical system with a partially porous outer cylinder is studied by using the scaled boundary finite element method (SBFEM), which is a novel semi-analytical method with the advantages of combining the finite element method (FEM) with the boundary element method (BEM). The whole solution domain is divided into one unbounded sub-domain and one bounded sub-domain by the exterior cylinder. By weakening the governing differential equation in the circumferential direction, the SBFEM equations for both domains can be solved analytically in the radial direction. Only the boundary on the circumference of the exterior porous cylinder is discretized with curved surface finite elements. Meanwhile, by introducing a variable porous-effect parameter G, non-homogeneous materials caused by the complex configuration of the exterior cylinder are modeled without additional efforts. Comparisons clearly demonstrate the excellent accuracy and computational efficiency associated with the present SBFEM. The effects of the wide range wave parameters and the structure configuration are examined. This parametric study will help determine the various hydrodynamic effects of the concentric porous cylindrical structure.  相似文献

在势能流及微小振幅波理论假设下,采用复合边界元素法(CBEM)数值解析规则波通过单根外壁透水cosine-type型同心圆柱结构物绕射。将cosine-type外壁不透水条件改为透水外,并在内部设有一半径为b的不透水内圆柱共同组成同心圆柱,为了验证CBEM数值模式正确性与可行性,将其退化成圆柱,均得到合理结果。数值计算条件包含波浪正向入射凸端、透水参数及绕射参数,探讨波浪通过单根cosine-type同心圆柱体四周水面波动变化情况,并与双重圆筒同心圆柱作比较。计算结果显示结构物外壁采用透水型式,可以大幅降低cosine-type同心圆柱体四周整个波浪绕射场的水面波动。  相似文献

The large cylinder is a new-type structure that has been applied to harbor and offshore engineering. An analytic method of the relationship between loads and the structure displacement is developed based on the failure mode of deep embedded large cylinder structures. It can be used to calculate directly the soil resistance and the ultirnate bearing capacity of the structure under usage. A new criterion of the large cylinder structure, which discriminates the deep embedded cylinder from the shallow embedded cylinder, is defined. Model tests prove that the proposed method is feasible for the analysis of deep embedded large cylinder structures.  相似文献

In this paper, a numerical model is established for estimating the wave forces on a submerged horizontal circular cylinder. For predicting the wave motion, a set of two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations is solved numerically with a finite element method. In order to track the moving non-linear wave surface boundary, the Navier-Stokes equations are discretized in a moving mesh system. After each computational time step, the mesh is modified according to the changed wave surface boundary. In order to stabilize the numerical procedure, a three-step finite element method is applied in the time integration. The water sloshing in a tank and wave propagation over a submerged bar are simulated for the first time to validate the present model. The computational results agree well with the analytical solution and the experimental data.Finally, the model is applied to the simulation of interaction between waves and a submerged horizontal circular cylinder.The effects of the KC number and the cylinder depth on the wave forces are studied.  相似文献

基于势流理论采用时域高阶边界元方法建立了模拟非线性波浪与淹没水平双、三圆柱作用的数值水槽模型,其中采用混合欧拉-拉格朗日方法更新自由水面,四阶Runga-Kutta方法进行时间步进。利用两点法分离得到潜体下游高阶自由波,进而研究潜体间距、布置形式等对高倍频自由波的影响。同时在物理水槽内开展多潜体高阶谐波物理模型试验,并将试验结果与数值结果进行对比,吻合较好。研究发现:淹没双圆柱下游高阶谐波幅值随潜体间距呈现周期性振荡变化,其振荡的重现距离约为波长一半。而淹没三圆柱下游的高阶谐波随第一个间距呈周期性振荡变化,随第二个间距的增大而减小。  相似文献

The finite element method (FEM) is employed to analyze the resonant oscillations of the liquid confined within multiple or an array of floating bodies with fully nonlinear boundary conditions on the free surface and the body surface in two dimensions. The velocity potentials at each time step are obtained through the FEM with 8-node quadratic shape functions. The finite element linear system is solved by the conjugate gradient (CG) method with a symmetric successive overelaxlation (SSOR) preconditioner. The waves at the open boundary are absorbed by the combination of the damping zone method and the Sommerfeld-Orlanski equation. Numerical examples are given by an array of floating wedge- shaped cylinders and rectangular cylinders. Results are provided for heave motions including wave elevations, profiles and hydrodynamic forces. Comparisons are made in several cases with the results obtained from the second order solution in the time domain. It is found that the wave amplitude in the middle region of the array is larger than those in other places, and the hydrodynamic force on a cylinder increases with the cylinder closing to the middle of the array.  相似文献

In this paper the fully nonlinear potential model based on a finite element method is used to investigate the nonlinear wave motion around a moving circular cylinder. The results for the cylinder in transient motion are compared with the experimental data and a much better agreement than the linear theory is found. Further simulation for a circular cylinder in sinusoidal motion is made. It is found that when the ratio of the cylinder diameter D to the wavelength L is relatively small at a fixed motion amplitude the nonlinear components of the runup on the cylinder surface at the second- and third-harmonic frequencies become more important and this is confirmed by the experimental data. Results for the hydrodynamic force are also provided for a cylinder oscillating in a channel. It is noticed that when the frequency of the cylinder motion in a channel is between the first and the second natural frequencies of the symmetric mode, the time history has components not only at the frequency of the cylinder motion but also at the first natural frequency. The latter remains significant over the period that the simulation is made. This has important implications to model testing. If measurement is to be made at such a frequency it may take long time for the motion to become periodic at the frequency of the cylinder motion.  相似文献

The deployment of suitable configurations of mutually interacting floating bodies for efficiently controlling their hydrodynamic interactions towards the reduction of the wave drift forces and, thus, of the mooring lines’ loads, has, nowadays, gained a great scientific interest. In this paper, the hydrodynamic behaviour of a floating cylinder and a concentric annular flexible plate is analysed in the frequency domain aiming at the minimization of the drift forces acting on the cylinder by optimizing the flexural rigidity of the plate. The diffraction/radiation problem is solved using a higher-order boundary element method. The analysis is implemented assuming that both floating bodies oscillate freely in heave, while for the plate, flexible modes are, additionally, considered for describing its structural deformations. The required modes shapes are determined in vacuum (“dry” mode superposition approach) through analytical expressions. The flexural rigidity of the plate, D, is optimized at a specific wave number using a real-coded genetic algorithm. Initially, results are compared with numerical results of other investigators for the case of two rigid concentric floating cylinders. Next, extended results are presented, focusing on the effect of D, including its optimum value, on various physical quantities describing the behaviour of both the cylinder and the plate. Contrary to the isolated cylinder, the presence of the plate introduces sharp peaks in the variation pattern of the drift force of the cylinder, bounded at specific wave numbers, where resonance of the seiche mode of water motion in the annular cavity or of specific flexible modes of the plate occurs. However, by reducing D to its optimum value, the cylinder’s drift force obtains practically zero values at the target wave number, due to an efficient improvement of the wave field in the annular cavity around the cylinder. Moreover, a great reduction of the drift force compared to the isolated cylinder is achieved in the subsequent high frequency range.  相似文献

针对圆筒型海上储油装置FPSO垂荡运动性能较差、无法安装干式井口的问题,设计了带延伸筒体与矩形阻尼结构的圆筒型FPSO,根据延伸筒体与矩形阻尼结构是否通海分为两种型式。建立水动力计算模型,比较分析不同延伸筒体和阻尼结构型式对FPSO水动力性能的影响。针对南海作业海域,设计了悬链式系泊系统,基于JONSWAP波浪谱对FPSO的运动进行时域预报,并对系泊系统进行校核。分析结果表明:通海型FPSO垂荡固有周期显著提升,可以错开南海百年一遇谱峰周期,通海型FPSO满足钻井、安装干式井口的运动响应要求,系泊系统系缆张力满足规范要求。  相似文献

- In this paper, the authors use the finite element method to conduct a special static analysis for the loadout procedure of offshore structures. By introducing a variable Xmove (the distance between the relative coordinate system fixed in the moving upper structure and the absolute coordinate system fixed on slideway), adopting substructure to treat the upper structure, and using the elastic foundation beam to model the slideway, the model for the analysis of the loadoul procedure is established. 桶型基础是一种新型的海洋基础结构型式,在负压作用下的下沉过程中,桶型基础结构与地基产生了相互作用,考虑结构与土壤的相互作用的强度分析为桶型基础的设计提供依据,本文将有限元-无限地-接触元相耦合的线性数值分析方法引入桶型基础的结构与土壤之间的相互作用的强度分析,采用接触单元考虑结构与土壤之间的错动滑移及拉裂,采用无限元更有效地反映地基无限域的远场效应,还推导出三节点,七节点,八节点三种新形式的单向无限地坐标映射函数,应用该方法的计算结果与模型试验结果比较,取得较好的效果。  相似文献

This paper proposes an enhanced approach for evaluating the fatigue life of each metallic layer of unbonded flexible risers. Owing to the complex structure of unbonded flexible risers and the nonlinearity of the system, particularly in the critical touchdown zone, the traditional method is insufficient for accurately evaluating the fatigue life of these risers. The main challenge lies in the transposition from global to local analyses, which is a key stage for the fatigue analysis of flexible pipes owing to their complex structure. The new enhanced approach derives a multi-layer stress-decomposition method to meet this challenge. In this study, a numerical model validated experimentally is used to demonstrate the accuracy of the stress-decomposition method. And a numerical case is studied to validate the proposed approach. The results demonstrate that the multi-layer stress-decomposition method is accurate, and the fatigue lives of the metallic layers predicted by the enhanced multi-layer analysis approach are rational. The proposed fatigue-analysis approach provides a practical and reasonable method for predicting fatigue life in the design of unbonded flexible risers.  相似文献
