We analyze the components of the carbon system of the Sevastopol bay waters and the balance of main sediment-forming substances using the data of field investigations in 1998–2008. The interannual variations of total inorganic carbon and the equilibrium partial pressure of carbon dioxide in the bay water are noted. An increase in the flux of carbon dioxide into the bay and in the content of organic carbon in bottom sediments is revealed, and an explanation of this phenomenon is given. The priority accumulation of organic carbon in the sediments of the bay is established. We assess the interannual variation in the relative abundances of organic and inorganic carbon as an index of the carbon cycle stability.  相似文献

It is shown that the so-called MIS-11 problem is not a problem of the Milankovitch theory but is a problem of his followers. The existence of this problem points out the drawbacks of the corresponding theoretical notions that associate the insolation variations with the global climate changes in the Pleistocene. The conclusion is reached that the MIS 11 problem is a particular case of the more common problem of the disparity of the orbital induced insolation variations and global climate changes in geological time intervals.  相似文献

The seismicity of the northeastern part of the Indian Ocean in connection with the general structural peculiarities of the main tectonic structures of the bottom is presented. The three main ranges of higher seismic activity at the depths of 0–17, 20–27, and 32–35 km divided by aseismic layers are revealed. The seismic activity at depths of more than 35 km is almost not detected both for the ocean and for the Indian peninsula. The nature of the distribution of the seismicity as such in the lithosphere is discussed. Using the results of anomalous au]gravitational field transformations, the prolongation of the East Indian Ridge structure is revealed to 19 degrees north, while the relationship of the Afanasy Nikitin Rise and the 85th Degree Ridge is not reflected at the tranforms. In the Cocos Basin, the mutually perpendicular disturbance zones of northeastern and northwestern strike, as well as the point of their crossing, where the maximal number of earthquake foci are concentrated, are distinguished. A conclusion concerning the substantial disturbance of the strength properties of the lithosphere in this zone as a consequence of the geodynamical processes, which are accompanied by fracture tectonics, is reached.  相似文献

入海河口是河流和海洋生态系统的过渡带,陆源生态敏感因素入海将极大地影响近岸海域的生态状况。因此,入海生态敏感因素监测是海岸带生态保护和生态防灾减灾的重要基础,也是促进海洋经济可持续发展的关键一环。然而,当前我国入海河口生态预警监测系统的建立尚处于起步阶段,与发达国家之间还存在较大差距。文章从入海河口生态状况对海域生态系统健康的影响入手,总结了国内外入海河口海洋生态预警监测技术的发展历程、建设情况和应用方向,探讨了建设入海河口生态预警监测站的生态意义和系统发展方向。  相似文献

北黄海海域大气湍流强度特征及风速标准差相似性分析   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
根据国家海洋局"908"专项北黄海海区海洋气象观测资料,计算了2007~2008年间该海区4个不同季节的大气湍流强度并与其他海区及陆地下垫面大气湍流值相比较.北黄海海区大气湍流强度量级为10-2,比陆地下垫面大气湍流强度低一个量级.由于海洋的特殊性质,对秋季大气湍流强度日变化的分析发现,在大气湍流强度的影响因素中,海洋的热力作用相对较大.对水平方向风速标准差是否满足Monin-Obukhov相似关系进行了探讨,数据显示,在不稳定层结下冬季水平方向无量纲风速标准差与Z/L的关系,基本满足1/3次方律.秋冬在不稳定层结下垂直方向风速标准差满足Monin-Obukhov相似理论.  相似文献

An electronic databank on the seismostratigraphic units based on seismic studies in the northeastern Indian Ocean is created and schematics of the sediment thickness distribution over its area are compiled. For each unit, the interface boundaries are dated, the matter composition is identified, and the sedimentation rates are estimated. An integrated map of the total thickness of the sediments and rates of their sedimentation are constructed. The lower limit of the parameters of the sedimentation process for the sedimentary layers after their compaction caused by the weight of the overlying layers is characterized.  相似文献

Characteristics of the Kuroshio in the vicinity of the Izu Islands are analyzed by using hydrographic observations collected from 1938 to 1980 mostly by the Hydrographic Department, Maritime Safety Agency, Japan and by the Japan Meteorological Agency.It is shown that flow characteristics change as the Kuroshio approaches the Izu Ridge. 1) The position of the 10°C isotherm at the 500 m level, which is, an index of the position of the temperature front or of the current axis of the Kuroshio, is highly variable near the ridge. 2) The horizontal temperature gradient across the Kuroshio estimated from the positions of the 8 and 12°C isotherms across the Kuroshio decreases considerably near the Izu Ridge. 3) The horizontal distance between the 15°C isotherm at the 200 m level and 10°C isotherm at the 500 m level becomes larger over the ridge. The 15°C isotherm at the 200 m level is an index of the current axis at the sea surface. This implies that the inclination of the Kuroshio axis becomes larger over the ridge.  相似文献

A zonal-average model of the upper branch of the meridional overturning circulation of the southern ocean is constructed and used to discuss the processes – wind, buoyancy, eddy forcing and boundary conditions – that control its strength and sense of circulation. The geometry of the thermocline ‘wedge’, set by the mapping between the vertical spacing of buoyancy surfaces (the stratification) on the equatorial flank of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current and their outcrop at the sea surface, is seen to play a central role by setting the interior large-scale potential vorticity distribution. It is shown that the action of eddies mixing this potential vorticity field induces a residual flow in the meridional plane much as is observed, with upwelling of fluid around Antarctica, northward surface flow and subduction to form intermediate water. Along with this overturning circulation there is a concomitant air-sea buoyancy flux directed in to the ocean.  相似文献

We develop a method for the evaluation of inclinations of the level, which enables one to find them with high accuracy. The reliability of this method is tested by comparing the numerical solutions for inclinations of the level with analytic expressions. It is shown that the system of coupled equations for inclinations of the level can be decomposed into two independent equations with sufficiently high accuracy. Translated by Peter V. Estimates of the characteristics of the horizontal turbulent exchange (coefficients of horizontal exchange, scales of deviations of the velocity of geostrophic currents from the background flows, and horizontal scales of perturbations) in the upper ocean layer were obtained on the basis of the data of expeditions held in 1978 and 1980 in the northwestern part of the Pacific Ocean. It is shown that the characteristics of the horizontal turbulent exchange strongly depend on the structure of the background flows, and one of the causes of their variability is related to tropical cyclones. A tendency to a decrease (to different degrees) of the turbulent coefficients in the wake of a tropical cyclone is noted.  相似文献

利用SODA资料和ECCO资料计算得到的北太平洋副热带海洋环流强度,和国家气候中心整编的中国160站逐月降水资料,结合NCEP/NCAR再分析资料和Hadley中心海表面温度资料,分析了1970-2007年海洋环流强度异常同期的大尺度大气环流异常特征及对中国东部夏季降水的影响。结果表明:海洋环流强度变化与长江中下游地区降水存在密切的反相关。环流强度异常可以通过影响西太平洋副热带高压的南北位置异常进而影响长江中下游降水。海洋环流偏弱时,副高位置偏南,长江中下游地区受气旋性环流异常影响,来自副高西北侧的强西南水汽输送至此,在该地区形成强水汽辐合中心,同时伴随上升运动加强和对流的加强,进一步导致该地区降水偏多;当海洋环流偏强时,西太平洋副高位置偏北,长江中下游地区受反气旋性环流异常影响,伴随辐散下沉及水汽辐散,导致该地区降水偏少;海洋环流强度异常导致的中纬度海区海表面温度异常,可能是导致副高南北位置异常的主要原因。  相似文献

A three-dimensional nonlinear mathematical model is used to study the dynamic processes under the action of cyclonic disturbances in the field of stationary wind in the Sea of Azov and the specific features of transformation of the impurities. The results of numerical calculations enable us to conclude that the maximum velocities of currents generated by a cyclone depend on the direction of its motion. It is shown that the cyclones moving westward generate currents with higher maximum velocities than the cyclones of other directions. It is also demonstrated that the motion of atmospheric disturbances leads to a significant enlargement of the area of propagation of pollutants as compared with the case of action solely of stationary currents. The influence of the velocities of stationary currents on the maximum current velocities caused by the passage of a cyclone is also analyzed.  相似文献

Ditching often takes place for a ground-effect wing (WIG) ship. During the ditching, the extreme load developed by water impacts may cause damages to structures, posing a great threat to the safety of crew and passengers. In the paper, a weakly compressible smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) model combined with enhanced numerical techniques has been adopted to tackle the ditching problems. In order to handle the motion of a rigid body in the three-dimensional ditching problems, the six degrees-of-freedom (6-DOF) equations of motion are incorporated into the SPH scheme. The accuracy of the SPH model is validated through two benchmarks, respectively, the two-dimensional wedge water entry and the three-dimensional stone-skipping. The former is aimed to validate the prediction of pressures during the free surface impact while the latter is a good case for testing the coupling motions of the rigid body. Furthermore, the ditching of the real scale WIG ship under different conditions is simulated with the established SPH model, through which some useful conclusions are drawn.  相似文献

The spatiotemporal variability of the hydrochemical composition of the riverine runoff in nearmouth areas is presented using the example of selected rivers of the Arctic Basin. The temporal dynamics of the riverine nutrient runoff are mainly determined by the seasonal and interseasonal variations in the drainage basins. The spatial variations in the chemical composition of riverine waters in the near-mouth areas are mainly caused by the dynamics of the water flow and the river bed relief and, to a lesser degree, by biochemical processes. It is shown that the variations in the nutrient composition of the waters in near-mouth areas are comparable in magnitude to those at the river-sea geochemical barriers.  相似文献

本文取上世纪后50年至2003年度冬季渤海地区气温作为与渤海冬季冰情有关的气候指标。分析得出,渤海地区冬季气温随着年代呈上升趋势,特别是80年代中期至本世纪初尤为明显。受其影响,渤海冬季的冰情时空分布状况发生了较大变化。其特点是:初冰日较多年平均值推后、终冰日较多年平均值提前,冰期较多年平均值偏短,冰厚较多年平均值偏薄,结冰范围(沿岸固定冰宽度和浮冰外缘线)较多年平均值偏小,甚至有些海区已多年未曾见到海冰了。  相似文献

A long-term (18 years) prognostic experiment on the formation of the Marmara Sea hydrodynamic structure driven by the exchange through straits with zero atmospheric forcing is carried out using a numerical nonlinear circulation model. The seasonal variability is taken into account by specifying the water temperature in the Bosporus. It is shown that the mutual adaptation of hydrophysical fields and their adjustment to the physical and geographical conditions of the sea are caused by rapid (tens of days) and slow (several tens of years) adjustment mechanisms. An S-shaped jet current directed from the Bosporus Strait to the Dardanelles is formed in the upper 20-m layer. A cyclonic eddy is periodically formed near the northern boundary of the Marmara Sea. An anticyclonic pattern is well defined in the central part of the sea. In deeper layers there is an abyssal jet current formed by the inflow of the high-density Aegean water to the Marmara Sea. These features of the Marmara Sea circulation are confirmed by observational data.  相似文献

The equation for the turbulence kinetic energy balance as applied to the horizontally-inhomogeneous upper ocean layer encompassing the equatorial zone is analysed. A partial solution of the equation has been derived for the equilibrium conditions. The transformation of the interfaces of a rotating three-layer fluid is described through a simple hydrodynamic model using the shallow-water approximation. A method based on mathematical modeling of the near-shore dynamics is suggested to calculate the annual mean cross-shore sediment flux q* at the coastal zone boundary. This method is applied to several sand coast profiles located in various geographical regions and exposed to energetic impacts of different scale. It is shown that the fluxes can be either positive (directed to the shore) or negative, and the magnitudes found agree with the known estimates based on other approaches. A conclusion is made that the resulting direction of q* is controlled by moderate storms with regime cumulative exedence from 1 to 10%. The wave periods, bottom slope, and sediment grain size play a special role in the process. An empirical criterion is found that allows one to predict the direction of the sediment flux crossing the coastal zone boundary.  相似文献
