A brief summary on the geology and the iron ore deposits of the Devonian Lahn Geosyncline (West Germany) is followed by the examination of the iron variation in the eruptive rocks in this area and in analogous magmatic associations elsewhere. A major strong point is the sporadic appearance of xenolithic inclusions of hematite in some keratophyres of the Lahn area. As a result, analytical, mineralogical and textural evidence is against dependence of the iron in the ore deposits on the contemporaneous femic rocks, whereas, in the keratophyre, another source of that iron is indicated. Thus two periods of magmatic events are derived. Special attention is called to the effects and conditions in the earlier period, and it may be suggested that three magmatic units corresponding to keratophyre, weilburgite and iron ore, owe their origin to the specific hydromagmatic conditions of a spilitic differentiation process in that early period.
Zusammenfassung Im Anschluß an einen kurzen Überblick über die geologischen Verhältnisse und über die Eisenerzlagerstätten im Devon der Lahnmulde wird die Variation des Eisens in den Eruptivgesteinen an der Lahn und in anderen petrographisch vergleichbaren Gebieten untersucht. Besonders aufschlußreich ist in einer Anzahl der Lahn-Keratophyre das sporadische Auftreten xenolitischer Hämatit-Akkumulate. Chemische, mineralogische und strukturelle Merkmale sprechen gegen die Herleitung des Eisens in den Lagerkomplexen aus den gleichaltrigen femischen Eruptivgesteinen, wohingegen sich in den Fremdeinschlüssen von Hämatit im Keratophyr eine andere Quelle für dieses Eisen anzeigt. Im magmatischen Geschehen zeichnen sich zwei Perioden deutlich voneinander ab. Vornehmlich berücksichtigt sind die der Frühperiode zugehörigen Hinweise und Vorgänge, und vermutlich lassen sich Keratophyr, Weilburgit und Eisenerz als drei magmatische Einheiten auf die spezifischen hydromagmatischen Bedingungen spilitischer Differentiation zurückführen.

SOHO-MDI daily magnetic field synoptic data (a 14-year series of daily maps of the solar magnetic field intensity B available at the site ) have been used to analyze the dynamics of the photospheric magnetic field in the vicinity of the solar equator. The standard deviation s B of the field B calculated over areas of tens of square degrees on the solar disk was taken as a basic index. An 11-year variation similar to that observed at higher latitudes is observed in the vicinity of the equator, and is similar for weak and strong fields; i.e., the solar cycle exists in the sunspot-free zone. New qualitative data support the idea that the weak background magnetic field increases toward the solar limb. This angular dependence suggests the existence of a transverse component of the background field. The magnetic fields in the vicinity of the equator were significantly different in the initial phases of Cycles 23 and 24. Annual variations of s B were observed near the center of the solar disk. These variations are due to two factors: the annual variation of the distance from the equator to the disk center and the increase of s B with with distance from the equator. Reliable detection of these variations is an evidence of high accuracy of the s B estimates.  相似文献

Data from the revised Geneva-Copenhagen catalog are used to study the influence of radial migration of stars on the age dependences of parameters of the velocity ellipsoids for nearby stars in the thin disk of the Galaxy, assuming that the mean radii of the stellar orbits remain constant. It is demonstrated that precisely the radial migration of stars, together with the negative metallicity gradient in the thin disk, are responsible for the observed negative correlation between the metallicities and angular momenta of nearby stars, while the angular momenta of stars that were born at the same Galactocentric distances do not depend on either age or metallicity. The velocity components of the Sun relative to the Local Standard of Rest derived using data for stars born at the solar Galactocentric distance are (U , V , W ) LSR = (5.1 ± 0.4, 7.9 ± 0.5, 7.7 ± 0.2) km/s. The two coordinates of the apex of the solar motion remain equal to 〈l 〉 = 70° ± 7° and 〈b 〉 = 41° ± 2°, within the errors. The indices for the power-law age dependences of them ajor, middle, and minor semi-axes become 0.26±0.04, 0.32±0.03, and 0.07±0.03, respectively. As a result, with age, the velocity ellipsoid for thin-disk stars born at the solar Galactocentric distance increases only in the plane of the disk, remaining virtually constant in the perpendicular direction. Its shape remains far from equilibrium, and the direction of the major axis does not change with age: the ellipsoid vertex deviation remains constant and equal to zero within the errors (〈L〉 = 0.7° ± 0.6°, 〈B〉 = 1.9° ± 1.1°). Such a small increase in the velocity dispersion perpendicular to the Galactic plane with age can probably be explained by “heating” of the stellar system purely by spiral density waves, without a contribution from giant molecular clouds.  相似文献

This paper presents data on the extent of the North Patagonian Icefield during the Late Pleistocene-Holocene transition using cosmogenic nuclide exposure age and optically stimulated luminescence dating. We describe geomorphological and geochronological evidence for glacier extent in one of the major valleys surrounding the North Patagonian Icefield, the Rio Bayo valley. Geomorphological mapping provides evidence for the existence of two types of former ice masses in this area: (i) a large outlet glacier of the North Patagonian Icefield, which occupied the main Rio Bayo valley, and (ii) a number of small glaciers that developed in cirques on the slopes of the mountains surrounding the valley. Cosmogenic nuclide exposure-age dating of two erratic boulders on the floor of the Rio Bayo valley indicate that the outlet glacier of the icefield withdrew from the Rio Bayo valley after 10,900 ± 1000 yr (the mean of two boulders dated to 11,400 ± 900 yr and 10,500 ± 800 yr). Single-grain optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating of an ice-contact landform constructed against this glacier indicates that this ice mass remained in the valley until at least 9700 ± 700 yr. The agreement between the two independent dating techniques (OSL and cosmogenic nuclide exposure age dating) increases our confidence in these age estimates. A date obtained from a boulder on a cirque moraine above the main valley indicates that glaciers advanced in cirques surrounding the icefield some time around 12,500 ± 900 yr. This evidence for an expanded North Patagonian Icefield between 10,900 ± 1000 yr and 9700 ± 700 yr implies cold climatic conditions dominated at this time.  相似文献

The first biozone (Anabarites trisulcatus Assemblage Zone) in the Siberian hypostratotype of the Vendian (northwestern slope of the Olenek Uplift) is represented by the Turkut Formation of the Khorbusuonka Group and most of the Syhargalakh Formation of the Kessyusa Group. The lower part of the Kessyusa Group in some of the sections includes stratiform breccia coeval with the middle part of the Syhargalakh Formation. The breccia is shown to be the alteration product of tuff breccia, which is widely distributed in the region and occurs as diatremes. A U-Pb zircon date of 543.9 ± 0.24 Ma for tuff breccia provides the best constraint on the age of the boundary between the Anabarites trisulcatus and Purella antiqua Assemblage Zones. The first appearance of small skeletal fossils Cambrotubulus decurvatus (which define the base of the Anabarites trisulcatus Assemblage Zone) is 1.4 m above the lower boundary of the Turkut Formation. Ichnofabric in the underlying Khatyspyt Formation is globally distributed in the strata 553-551 million years old, always predating the first appearance of small skeletal fossils of the Anabarites trisulcatus Assemblage Zone. The base of the Anabarites trisulcatus Assemblage Zone is therefore younger than 553-551 Ma, whereas the duration of the assemblage zone does not exceed six million years.  相似文献

Quartz–carbonate–chlorite veins were studied in borehole samples of the RWTH-1 well in Aachen. Veins formed in Devonian rocks in the footwall of the Aachen thrust during Variscan deformation and associated fluid flow. Primary fluid inclusions indicate subsolvus unmixing of a homogenous H2O–CO2–CH4–(N2)–Na–(K)–Cl fluid into a H2O–Na–(K)–Cl solution and a vapour-rich CO2–(H2O, CH4, N2) fluid. The aqueous end-member composition resembles that of metamorphic fluids of the Variscan front zone with salinities ranging from 4 to 7% NaCl equiv. and maximum homogenisation temperatures of close to 400°C. Pressure estimates indicate a burial depth between 4,500 and 8,000 m at geothermal gradients between 50 and 75°C/26 MPa, but pressure decrease to sublithostatic conditions is also indicated, probably as a consequence of fracture opening during episodic seismic activity. A second fluid system, mainly preserved in pseudo-secondary and secondary fluid inclusions, is characterised by fluid temperatures between 200 and 250°C and salinities of <5% NaCl equiv. Bulk stable isotope analyses of fluids released from vein quartz, calcite, and dolomite by decrepitation yielded δDH2O values from −89 to −113 ‰, δ13CCH4 from −26.9 to −28.9‰ (VPDB) and δ13CCO2 from −12.8 to −23.3‰ (VPDB). The low δD and δ13C range of the fluids is considered to be due to interaction with cracked hydrocarbons. The second fluid influx caused partial isotope exchange and disequilibrium. It is envisaged that an initial short lived flux of hot metamorphic fluids expelled from the epizonal metamorphic domains of the Stavelot–Venn massif. The metamorphic fluid was focused along major thrust faults of the Variscan front zone such as the Aachen thrust. A second fluid influx was introduced from formation waters in the footwall of the Aachen thrust as a consequence of progressive deformation. Mixing of the cooler and lower salinity formation water with the hot metamorphic fluid during episodic fluid trapping resulted in an evolving range of physicochemical fluid inclusion characteristics.  相似文献

In order to characterise the influence of the heavyrains on the observed landslides during the 1996–1997hydrological cycle, rainfall records for the last 100years are analysed from 104 stations in easternAndalusia. Regarding the amounts of rain recordedbetween October 1996 and March 1997 in the 104stations studied, 31 presented new all-time records;15 presented values that were 80–100% of thepre-1995 record; 49 stations, 80–50%; and 9stations, < 50%. A map has been devised of thesusceptibility of the materials through which thesouth-eastern Andalusian road network crosses,together with an inventory of the damage caused byinstability phenomena on banks and cuttings of theroad network during the winter of 1996–1997. Therelationships between the rainfall during the studyperiod, the damage caused to the road network and thesusceptibility of the materials affected are analysed.The results indicate that there is a clearcorrespondence between the rainfall recorded and thesusceptibility of the materials with the inventorieddamage. It is concluded that the widespread seriousdamage caused in early 1997 to the roads andsurrounding areas in the Alpujarra region and thecoast of the Province of Granada was mainly caused bythe extraordinarily heavy rains. However, considerablyless damage was observed where the susceptibility ofthe terrain is low, thus highlighting the extremeusefulness of terrain-susceptibility maps for riskprevention and territorial planning.  相似文献

The uplift of the Tibetan Plateau significantly affected the global climate system.However,the timing of its uplift and the formation of its vast expanse are poorly understood.The occurrence of two types of leucogranites(the two-mica leucogranites and garnet-bearing leucogranites) identified in the Ailaoshan-Red River(ASRR) shear zone suggests an extension event in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau.The age of these leucogranites could be used to constrain the timing of uplift and southeastward expansion of the plateau.Petrography,geochronology and geochemistry investigations,including Sr-Nd isotope analysis,were conducted on the two-mica leucogranites and garnet-bearing leucogranites from the ASRR shear zone.LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating indicates that these rocks were emplaced at ~27 Ma,implying that the Tibetan Plateau had already achieved maximum uplift prior to the late Oligocene.It subsequently started to expand southeastward as a result of crustal flow.Compared to classic metapelite-derived leucogranites from Himalaya,the two-mica leucogranites show high K_2 O/Na_2 O(1.31-1.92),low Rb/Sr,CaO,lower ~(87)Sr/~(86)Sr ratios(0.7089-0.7164) and higher ε_(Nd)(t)(-8.83 to-3.10).This whole-rock geochemical characteristics likely indicates a mixing source origin,composed predominantly of amphibolite with subordinated metapelite,which is also evidenced by ~(87)Sr/~(86)Sr vs.ε_(Nd)(t) diagram.However,The garnetbearing leucogranites with high SiO_2 contents(72.25-74.12 wt.%) have high initial ~(87)Sr/~(86)Sr ratios(0.7332-0.7535) and low ε_(Nd)(t)(-16.36 to 18.98),indicating that they are derived from the source comprised of metapelite and results of fluexed muscovite melting under lower crustal level,which is also evidenced by the Rb-Sr-Ba systematics.These leucogranites formed from partial melting of the thickened lower crust,which resulted in the formation of granitic melt that weakened the crust.The weakened crust aided the left-lateral strikeslip movement of the ASRR shear zone,triggering the escape of the Indochina terrane in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau during the late Oligocene.  相似文献

Here, we present new measurements of 32S, 33S, 34S, and 36S in sedimentary sulfides and couple these measurements with modeling treatments to study the sulfur cycle of a late Paleoproterozoic marine basin. We target the transition in ocean chemistry from the deposition of Paleoproterozoic iron formations (Gunflint Formation, Biwabik Formation, Trommald Formation, and Mahnomen iron formations) to the inferred sulfidic ocean conditions recorded by overlying shale (Rove Formation). The data suggest that certain features of the global sulfur cycle, such as a control by sulfate reducing prokaryotes, and low (mM) concentrations of oceanic sulfate, were maintained across this transition. This suggests that the transition was associated with changes in the structure of the basin-scale sulfur cycle during deposition of these sediments. Sulfide data from the iron formations are interpreted to reflect sedimentary sulfides formed from microbial reduction of pore-water sulfate that was supplied through steady-state exchange with an overlying oceanic sulfate reservoir. The sulfide data for the euxinic Rove Formation shales reflect the operation of a sulfur cycle that included the loss of sulfide by a Rayleigh-like process. We suggest that the prevalence of large and variable heavy isotope enrichments observed in Rove Formation sulfide minerals reflect a sustained and significant net loss of sulfide from the euxinic water column, either as a result of a shallow chemocline and degassing to the atmosphere or as a result of a water column pyrite sink. The inclusion of 36S measurements (in addition to 32S, 33S, and 34S) illustrates the mass-dependent character of these sedimentary environments, ruling out contributions from the weathering of Archean sulfides and pointing to at least modest levels of sustained atmospheric oxygen (>10−5 present atmospheric levels of O2).  相似文献

The long term recharge in Gobi Desert from Hexi Corridor to Inner Mongolia Plateau was estimated to be 1 mm year−1 by using the chloride mass balance method from one unsaturated zone profile, which shows that no effective modern recharge is taking place. A good rainfall database from Zhangye provides definition of the stable isotopic composition of modern rainfall. The signature of groundwater from the late Pleistocene differs markedly from that of the Holocene, shown clearly by the compositions of −10.5‰ δ18O as compared with values of −7‰ at the present day. It is apparent that the groundwaters in the Minqin Basin, Ejina Basin and feeding the lake system of the Badain Jaran are part of a regional flow network related to a wetter past climate as source of recharge. The recharge source in the past and to a limited extent in the more arid conditions of the present day included the foothills of the mountains of the Tibetan Plateau. The tritium age determinations accurate to the year are impossible and of no meaning to groundwater studies. A tritium value in the groundwater means multiple recharge ages in this region.  相似文献

The paper investigates the question of whether or not determinations of the distance between the Sun and the Galactic center R 0 are affected by the so-called “bandwagon effect”, leading to selection effects in published data that tend to be close to expected values, as was suggested by some authors. It is difficult to estimate numerically a systematic uncertainty in R 0 due to the bandwagon effect; however, it is highly probable that, even if widely accepted values differ appreciably from the true value, the published results should eventually approach the true value despite the bandwagon effect. This should be manifest as a trend in the published R 0 data: if this trend is statistically significant, the presence of the bandwagon effect can be suspected in the data. Fifty two determinations of R 0 published over the last 20 years were analyzed. These data reveal no statistically significant trend, suggesting they are unlikely to involve any systematic uncertainty due to the bandwagon effect. At the same time, the published data show a gradual and statistically significant decrease in the uncertainties in the R 0 determinations with time.  相似文献

 The climate of the Holocene is not well suited to be the baseline for the climate of the planet. It is an interglacial, a state typical of only 10% of the past few million years. It is a time of relative sea-level stability after a rapid 130-m rise from the lowstand during the last glacial maximum. Physical geologic processes are operating at unusual rates and much of the geochemical system is not in a steady state. During most of the Phanerozoic there have been no continental ice sheets on the earth, and the planet’s meridional temperature gradient has been much less than it is presently. Major factors influencing climate are insolation, greenhouse gases, paleogeography, and vegetation; the first two are discussed in this paper. Changes in the earth’s orbital parameters affect the amount of radiation received from the sun at different latitudes over the course of the year. During the last climate cycle, the waxing and waning of the northern hemisphere continental ice sheets closely followed the changes in summer insolation at the latitude of the northern hemisphere polar circle. The overall intensity of insolation in the northern hemisphere is governed by the precession of the earth’s axis of rotation, and the precession and ellipticity of the earth’s orbit. At the polar circle a meridional minimum of summer insolation becomes alternately more and less pronounced as the obliquity of the earth’s axis of rotation changes. Feedback processes amplify the insolation signal. Greenhouse gases (H2O, CO2, CH4, CFCs) modulate the insolation-driven climate. The atmospheric content of CO2 during the last glacial maximum was approximately 30% less than during the present interglacial. A variety of possible causes for this change have been postulated. The present burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, and cement manufacture since the beginning of the industrial revolution have added CO2 to the atmosphere when its content due to glacial-interglacial variation was already at a maximum. Anthropogenic activity has increased the CO2 content of the atmosphere to 130% of its previous Holocene level, probably higher than at any time during the past few million years. During the Late Cretaceous the atmospheric CO2 content was probably about four times that of the present, the level to which it may rise at the end of the next century. The results of a Campanian (80 Ma) climate simulation suggest that the positive feedback between CO2 and another important greenhouse gas, H2O, raised the earth’s temperature to a level where latent heat transport became much more significant than it is presently, and operated efficiently at all latitudes. Atmospheric high- and low-pressure systems were as much the result of variations in the vapor content of the air as of temperature differences. In our present state of knowledge, future climate change is unpredictable because by adding CO2 to the atmosphere we are forcing the climate toward a “greenhouse” mode when it is accustomed to moving between the glacial–interglacial “icehouse” states that reflect the waxing and waning of ice sheets. At the same time we are replacing freely transpiring C3 plants with water-conserving C4 plants, producing a global vegetation complex that has no past analog. The past climates of the earth cannot be used as a direct guide to what may occur in the future. To understand what may happen in the future we must learn about the first principles of physics and chemistry related to the earth’s system. Based on the hypothesis that shearing stresses and normal tensile stresses both play a decisive role in fracturing and brittle failure of rock material, a novel strength criterion was developed in one of the earlier works of the author. In the criterion, a certain parameter ν′ occurs which depends on the structure of the material. Originally, the parameter was treated as a constant, which resulted in a linear form of the strength function F σ 1 = f(σ 3), where σ 3 = σ 2. Although the linear strength criterion is sometimes found to be applicable to various particular rock materials, it is not, in general, of a universal character. Analysis of the triaxial test results for 75 different sandstones revealed that parameter ν′ usually increases in an exponential or linear manner as confining pressure increases, and only in isolated cases does it seem to be independent of the confining pressure. For these three types of function ν′ = f(p) appropriate strength criteria F σ 1 = f(σ 3) are given in the present paper. These criteria were used to fit all of the collected empirical data sets. In general, a very good fit to the data was obtained.  相似文献

The paper presents materials on the composition and texture of weakly serpentinized ultrabasic rocks from the western and eastern walls of the Markov Deep (5°30.6′–5°32.4′N) in the rift valley of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (MAR). The predominant harzburgites with protogranular and porphyroclastic textures contain two major generations of minerals: the first generation composes the bulk of the rocks and consists of Ol 89.8–90.4 + En 90.2–90.8 + Di 91.8 + Chr (Cr#32.3–36.6, Mg#67.2–70.0), while the second generation composes very thin branching veinlets and consists of PlAn 32–47 + Ol 74.3–77.1 + Opx 55.7–71.9 + Cpx 67.5 + Amph 53.7–74.2 + Ilm. The syndeformational olivine neoblasts in recrystallization zones are highly magnesian. The concentrations and covariations of major elements in the harzburgites indicate that these rocks are depleted mantle residues (the high Mg# of minerals and whole-rock samples and the low CaO, Al2O3, and TiO2 concentrations) that are significantly enriched in trace HFSE and REE (Zr, Hf, Y, LREE, and all REE). The mineralogy and geochemistry of the harzburgites were formed by the interaction of mantle residues with hydrous, strongly fractionated melts that impregnated them. The mineralogical composition of veinlets in the harzburgites and the mineralogical-geochemical characteristics of the related plagiogranites and gabbronorites suggest that these plagiogranites were produced by melts residual after the crystallization of gabbronorites. The modern characteristics of the harzburgites were shaped by the following processes: (i) the partial melting of mantle material simultaneously with its subsolidus deformations, (ii) brittle-plastic deformations associated with cataclastic flow and recrystallization, and (iii) melt percolation along zones of the maximum stress relief and the interaction of this melt with the magnesian mantle residue. Summary The author proves that theDirac-Gilbert equation serving as a basis for the expansion theory has the consequence that the Earth's mantle must be, excepting the uppermost 200 kilometres, similar in constitution to a magma of intermediary composition rich in volatiles. A basic or ultrabasic composition characterizes exclusively the volatile-poor shells situated immediately beneath the acidic crust.Density does not increase monotonously with depth: on the contrary, after a local maximum between 50 and 100 kilometres, it has a slight local minimum. Consequently, theGutenberg-channel is due to changes in material composition rather than to thermal effects. The hydrosphere and most of the atmosphere must have come to exist simultaneously with the crust, in the first phases of the Earth's life. The evolution of the surface of the Moon is in a close parallelism with the evolution of the Earth's mantle.
Zusammenfassung Verfasser weist nach, daß dieDirac-Gilbertsche Gleichung, die die physikalische Grundlage der Erdexpansionstheorie bildet, betreffs der stofflichen Zusammensetzung des Erdmantels die Folge hat, daß diese, von der obersten etwa 200 km mächtigen Schicht abgesehen, einem intermediären Magma von hohem Leichtflüchtigengehalt nahestehen muß. Durch eine basische oder ultrabasische Zusammensetzung werden lediglich die an Leichtflüchtigen armen Schalen unmittelbar unter der sauren Kruste gekennzeichnet.Die Dichte nimmt mit der Tiefe nicht monoton zu, sondern besitzt zwischen 50 und 100 km Tiefe ein lokales Maximum, wonach sie ein schwaches lokales Minimum aufweist. DerGutenbergsche Kanal wird folglich nicht durch thermische Effekte, sondern durch Unterschiede der stofflichen Zusammensetzung bedingt. Die Hydrosphäre und der größte Teil der Atmosphäre muß zugleich mit der Kruste in den ersten Phasen der Erdentwicklung entstanden sein. Die Entwicklung der Mondoberfläche weist eine enge Parallelität mit der Entwicklung des Erdmantels auf.

阿尔泰南缘麦兹盆地康布铁堡组赋存有铁铅锌大、中型矿床,但该组火山岩的形成时代和岩石成因以及构造背景还没有形成一致的认识。本文对该组两个变质流纹岩样品进行了LA-ICP-MS锆石U-Pb年龄测定,获得其年龄分别为410.5±1.3 Ma和400.4±2.1 Ma。岩石地球化学分析结果表明:所有酸性火山岩具有高硅(72.15% ~81.26%),低铝(10.56% ~14.87%)和钛(0.16% ~0.27%),极低的MgO(0.04% ~0.14%)、CaO(0.04% ~2.42%)和TFeO(0.11% ~1.64%)含量; 在原始地幔标准化图上显示出Ti、P、Sr、Ba、Nb和Ta明显负异常,Th、U、Pb、Zr和Hf的正异常,LREE 相对HREE略富集的特征,除个别样品外,大多数样品显示明显的Eu负异常(δEu=0.48~0.91)。结合其区域地质特征,认为本区变质酸性火山岩形成于活动大陆边缘环境,是玄武质岩浆底侵作用使下地壳发生了部分熔融后演化的产物。  相似文献

Summary The crystalline variants of the alkali feldspars differ from each other in the pattern of Al/Si disorder. The interrelations of the several variants are graphically shown in Figs. 1, 2, and 3. In high albite thekind of disorder is different from that in any other alkali feldspar; therefore the transition high albitemonalbite is diffusive; but the transition monalbiteanalbite is displacive. See Fig. 10.The phase diagram of the system NaAlSi3O8–KAlSi3O8 is presented in Fig. 4. The volume relations of the mixed crystals (Figs. 5 and 8) indicate that albite exhibiting monoclinic symmetry at room temperature has a defect lattice (defect monalbite) with vacant Na sites. A vacant cation site behaves as if a large cation (for example K) were present; therefore the defect monalbite behaves like a mixed crystal with some K replacing Na.
Zusammenfassung Die verschiedenen kristallinen Modifikationen der Alkalifeldspate unterscheiden sich bezüglich der Art und Weise ihrer Al/Si-Verteilung. Die Interrelationen sind in den Abb. 1, 2 und 3 dargestellt. Im Hochalbit ist die Al/Si-Verteilung andersartig als in irgendeinem anderen Alkalifeldspat. Die meisten Alkalifeldspate haben eine zwifache Unendlichkeit von Variationsmöglichkeiten der Al/Si-Verteilung (entsprechend der in Abb. 2 eingezeichneten Ebene), Hochalbit aber steht einzig da und weist eine dreifache Unendlichkeit von Möglichkeiten auf. Infolgedessen entspricht dem Übergang HochalbitMonalbit ein diffuser Umwandlungsmechanismus, dem Übergang MonalbitAnalbit aber ein displaciver (Abb. 10).Das Phasendiagramm des Systems NaAlSi3O8–KAlSi3O8 ist in Abb. 4 dargestellt. Die Volumverhältnisse der Mischkristalle (Abb. 5 und 8) deuten darauf hin, daß der bei gewöhnlicher Temperatur monokline Albit ein defektes Gitter hat (= defekter Monalbit mit teilweise unbesetzten Na-Punktlagen). Die Wirkung einer unbesetzten Kation-Punktlage im Gitter ist der Wirkung eines großen Kations (z. B. Kalium) gleich; hierdurch erklärt sich die Tatsache, daß der defekte Monalbit die Eigenschaften eines etwas K-haltigen Mischkristalls nachahmt.

The classification of the tribe Bereselleae of the family Dasycladaceae is discussed in some detail. The genera Beresella, Samarella and Dvinella are placed in the tribe with Trinodella, being treated as a subgenus of Dvinella. A number of new species are described: four in Beresella, six in Dvinella subgenus Dvinella and two in Dvinella subgenus Trinodella. The stratigraphic occurrence of the tribe in the Carboniferous at a number of localities on the Russian Platform is represented and a strong generic-facies association is pointed out. The Lomagundi-Jatuli Event (LJE) refers to the significant positive carbon isotope excursion in seawater constituents that occurred immediately after the increase in atmospheric oxygen content during the Paleoproterozoic (2.22–2.06 Ga). The δ13C values of 46 dolostone samples collected from the Paleoproterozoic Yongjingshao Formation varied in the range of 0.05 ‰–4.95 ‰ (V-PDB; maximum: 4.95‰) in this study, which may be related to the multicellular eukaryotes in the Liangshan Formation in the Yimen Group. They are much higher than the δ13C values of marine carbonates (?1.16‰ on average). The δ13C values of other formations in the Paleoproterozoic Yimen Group are negative. The notable positive carbon isotope anomalies of the Yongjingshao Formation indicate the response to the LJE at the southwestern margin of the Yangtze Block, which is reported for the first time. Furthermore, they are comparable to the δ13C values of carbonates in the Dashiling Formation of the Hutuo Group in the Wutaishan area in the North China Craton, the Wuzhiling Formation of the Songshan Group in the Xiong’ er area, Henan Province, and the Dashiqiao Formation of the Liaohe Group in the Guanmenshan area, Liaoning Province. Therefore, it can be further concluded that the LJE is a global event. This study reveals that LJE occurred in Central Yunnan at 2.15–2.10 Ga, lasting for about 50 Ma. The macro-columnar, bean-shaped, and microfilament fossils and reticular ultramicrofossils of multicellular eukaryotes in this period were discovered in the Liangshan Formation of the Yimen Group. They are the direct cause for the LJE and are also the oldest paleontological fossils ever found. The major events successively occurring in the early stage of the Earth include the Great Oxygenation Event (first occurrence), the global Superior-type banded iron formations (BIFs), the Huronian glaciation, the Great Oxygenation Event (second occurrence), the explosion of multicellular eukaryotes, the positive carbon isotope excursion, and the global anoxic and selenium-rich sedimentary event. Meridional transports of momentum and sensible heat have been computed using the Fourier coefficients of the geopotential heights at 50 mb and 30 mb levels for each month during the years 1972 to 1979. Seasonal variations in these transports and in the energy conversionsC (K E ,K Z ) andC (A z ,A E ) in the contrasting years of monsoon activity have been discussed. The transport and the conversion terms undergo annual variations only with winter maxima and summer minima. Large northward transport of momentum and of sensible heat in the low latitude summer and in the high latitude preceeding winter suggests a linkage between monsoon activity and high latitude stratosphere. Seasonal variations in the energy conversion termsC (K E ,K Z ) andC (A Z ,A E ) conform with the changes in the system in the years of widely differing monsoon activity both in low and high latitudes. Large conversion of energy fromA Z toA E in low latitude summer indicates weakening of the existing meridional temperature gradient, in bad monsoon years.  相似文献
