玄武岩纤维是国际上重点发展的新材料之一,附加价值极高。以天然玄武岩拉制的连续纤维是一种新型无机环保绿色高性能纤维材料,具有强度高,电绝缘、耐腐蚀、耐高温等多种优异性能。笔者等通过对山东省临朐—沂水地区橄榄玄武岩地质特征、岩相学特征及岩石地球化学特征进行分析研究,发现产出于中新世临朐群牛山组偏基性火山岩的致密块状橄榄玄武岩,是拉丝纤维用的理想原矿石。笔者等梳理了国内部分生产企业和学者研究关于天然玄武岩成功拉丝的研究进展,分析研究了山东省临朐—沂水地区橄榄玄武岩影响连续纤维用玄武岩矿拉丝性能的七大参数指标,结果表明,研究区橄榄玄武岩除酸度系数偏低外,各项参数均符合连续拉丝纤维生产各项指标,可为后续开展纤维用玄武岩地质调查工作提供参考,助力资源的开发利用研究。 相似文献

<正>对华北东南部昌乐—临朐新生代玄武岩中橄榄石和单斜辉石斑晶进行了傅里叶变换红外光谱(FTIR)结构水含量测定,对昌乐—临朐和合肥新生代玄武岩中橄榄石和单斜辉石斑晶进行了热分解元素分析仪-质谱(TC/EA-MS)联机测定全水含量和氢同位素组成。昌乐—临朐玄武岩橄榄石未检出结构水,单斜辉石结构水含量为(62~913)×10-6。根据Mg#最高的单斜辉石结构水含量估计出的玄武岩初始熔体水含量约为0.6%。 相似文献

近些年来,人们广泛地利用火山岩的主元素或微量元素的特征对火山岩进行地球化学、成因岩石学和构造岩石学的研究。Mullen(1983)利用玄武岩的 MnO、TiO2和P2O5建立大洋型玄武岩的 MnO×10-TiO2-P2O5×10的构造背景判别图(以下简称MTP图)和圈出了大陆拉斑玄武岩在 MTP 图中的分布范围。他选择了能反映玄武岩形成过程中的重要地球化学特征和成因机制的元素组作为该图的端元组分。 相似文献

在中国东部,北起黑龙江、南到海南岛,广泛地分布着新生代碱性玄武质岩石,例如碱性橄榄玄武岩、碧玄岩、霞石玄武岩等。它们含有丰富的超镁铁岩包体和各种巨晶。已发现的有辉石、角闪石、石榴石、歪长石、钛铁矿和云母等巨晶。Harte(1978)把巨晶定义为大的单矿物单个晶体,它比超镁铁岩团块中的矿物粗得多(2—20cm)。然而有的地质学家把巨晶的粒度下限定在1cm(Eggler 等,1979)。笔者遵循这一定义和采纳后一界线,在此基础上着重对中国东部部分地区的辉石和角闪石巨晶进行研究,研究情况见表1。 相似文献

史家沟组的时代归属一直存在争议。在系统梳理山东省史家沟组地层划分沿革的基础上,对蓬莱、长岛和无棣3个地区的11个史家沟组露头剖面进行系统采样,获取了14个K-Ar年龄和2个ESR年龄,通过与前人测年数据对比分析,发现在山东境内仅在无棣碣石山(0.87 Ma)和蓬莱市北沟镇迎口山(1.51 Ma)出露有第四纪更新世玄武岩,其他测试年龄均为新近纪(9.24~5.02 Ma)。蓬莱和长岛地区的玄武岩地层多属中新世晚期(蓬莱北沟镇迎口山除外)尧山组,仅有少量属第四纪史家沟组。建议将无棣大山、蓬莱北林院迎口山区域玄武岩划为第四纪,其他区域出露的第四纪史家沟组划为新近纪。 相似文献

The effective elastic thickness of the lithosphere in the Williston Basin region has been determined for several time intervals by fitting an elastic flexure equation to the shape of the basin over time. The elastic thickness increases from about 40 km just after the basin began subsiding (450 m.y. B.P.) to about 80 km at the present.These results agree well with the increasing elastic thickness with age predicted for a cooling, 250 km-thick plate (taking elastic thickness to be depth to the 450°C isotherm) if we assume a thermal age of the lithosphere of about 500 m.y. Radiometric dates of basement in the area, however, generally yield ages of 1.7 b.y. (Churchill Province) and 2.5 b.y. (Superior Province).Because basement ages are generally much greater than the inferred lithospheric thermal age in the Williston Basin region, we suggest that lithosphere in this area was thermally rejuvenated, about 500 m.y.B.P., by the same process(es) responsible for the thermal subsidence of the basin. Temperatures were not high enough in the upper crust to reset most radiometric clocks. Additional support for a thermal event 500 m.y.B.P. comes from fission-track ages and a single Rb-Sr age of basement rocks of about 500 m.y.Lithospheric rejuvenation has been modelled using a one-dimensional finite-difference thermal model. The base of a 250 km-thick plate is heated from 1333°C to 1850°C (approximately the solidus of basalt at that depth) for approximately 100 m.y. With conduction only, the depth to the 450°C isotherm slowly decreases, then slowly increases after heating ceases. Rapid thinning and slow thickening of the lithosphere can be achieved only if convective thinning is simulated in the model. The model with convection yields results consistent with the observed increase in lithospheric thickness as well as the observed subsidence of the basin over time. 相似文献

受断裂带的影响,蓬莱玄武岩集中在蓬莱北部,呈 NE 向至 NNE 向分布。火山活动分为四个阶段: 前寒武纪时近 EW 向基底构造的形成、中生代 NE--NNE 向断裂构造的发育、中生代末期地幔柱强烈上涌和新生代火山活动的末期等 4 个构造阶段。玄武岩喷发主要集中于新生代,以气孔玄武岩、苦橄玢岩和辉橄岩为主。常量元素分析显示,蓬莱玄武岩与世界玄武岩平均成分有差异,表现为低 Al2O3、CaO 和 MnO,高 K2O、MgO 和 Na2O; 与中国玄武岩平均成分相比,Al2O3、K2O 和 Na2O 低, CaO、P2O5和 MgO 高。微量元素分析显示蓬莱玄武岩具有大陆玄武岩典型的右倾稀土元素配分模式,具有中度负铕异常。鲁东地块经历两期地幔交代过程,分别为寒武纪时期和中生代末至新生代时期。 相似文献

We introduce a potential new working reference material – natural zircon megacrysts from an Early Pliocene alkaline basalt (from Penglai, northern Hainan Island, southern China) – for the microbeam determination of O and Hf isotopes, and U–Pb age dating. The Penglai zircon megacrysts were found to be fairly homogeneous in Hf and O isotopes based on large numbers of measurements by LA-multiple collector (MC)-ICP-MS and SIMS, respectively. Precise determinations of O isotopes by isotope ratio mass spectrometry (IRMS) and Hf isotopes by solution MC-ICP-MS were in good agreement with the statistical mean of microbeam measurements. The mean δ18O value of 5.31 ± 0.10‰ (2s) by IRMS and the mean 176Hf/177Hf value of 0.282906 ± 0.0000010 (2s) by solution MC-ICP-MS are the best reference values for the Penglai zircons. SIMS and isotope dilution-TIMS measurements yielded consistent 206Pb/238U ages within analytical uncertainties, and the preferred 206Pb/238U age was found to be 4.4 ± 0.1 Ma (95% confidence interval). The young age and variably high common Pb content make the Penglai zircons unsuitable as a primary U–Pb age reference material for calibration of unknown samples by microbeam analysis; however, they can be used as a secondary working reference material for quality control of U–Pb age determination for young (particularly < 10 Ma) zircon samples. 相似文献

The results of potassium‐argon measurements are reported. Three samples from the southern end of the New England bathylith confirm its Permian age (240–245 m.y.). Two samples of the “pre‐Permian” granites are not younger than Lower Permian (Hillgrove, 270 m.y.; Barrington Tops, 260 m.y.). Magnetometer array studies have led to the discovery and mapping of the Southern Cape Conductive Belt (SCCB) crossing the southern tip of Africa from west to southeast coasts. The SCCB lies just south of the Namaqua-Natal Belt of cratonic rocks remobilized about 1000 m.y. B.P. It is shown that it coincides with a zone of weakness which has been exploited by three major geosynclinal accumulations over some 600 m.y. Relationships between the SCCB and the basement geochronology, geology and tectonics are considered in detail. These relationships support the view that the conductive belt was formed by an accumulation of marine sediments and oceanic lithosphere at the top of a Proterozoic subduction which stopped about 1000 to 800 m.y. B.P. Associated with this subduction we propose a Proterozoic range of Andean mountains, whose roots are now exposed in the Namaqua-Natal Belt. Later subduction further south, near the present south coast, is proposed to account for the intrusion, between the south coast and the SCCB, of the Cape Granites in the time interval 600-500 m.y. B.P. There is some evidence for a third, yet more distant, subduction episode off Permian Gondwanaland. After outlining this tectonic history, the paper turns to a closer examination of the hypothesis that the Southern Cape Conductive Belt consists of partly serpentinized basalt accumulated at the top of a Proterozoic subduction. A large static magnetic anomaly, which correlates with the SCCB over most of its length, is well fitted by a model which strongly supports this hypothesis. Bouguer gravity anomalies along western and central profiles likewise support the hypothesis. A discussion follows of the process of formation of the proposed block of serpentinized marine rocks, beginning with serpentinization of the crust near oceanic ridges by reaction of warm, porous, newly-extruded basalt with seawater convecting through it. The serpentinized basalt is stable at crustal temperatures and pressures and so is transported in the seafloor until it reaches a subduction, where it accumulates because of its low density. Examples of such accumulations are cited. Finally, it is shown that any iron in the olivine and pyroxene in the original basalt precipitates, when these silicates are hydrated to serpentine, as magnetite which is the dominant mineral conferring high electrical conductivity and high magnetic susceptibility on serpentinites. In particular the Beattie static magnetic anomaly requires, in our model calculation, a very high susceptibility readily attainable in basalt at 15–20% serpentinization. The authors know of no other rock able to provide this high susceptibility. A similar percentage of serpentinization provides the density required to model the gravity anomalies. 相似文献

Palaeomagnetic results are presented for two young volcanoes in southeastern Australia. Directions for the basalt and lava spatter, erupted near the beginning and end of activity at Mt Gambier respectively, are identical and suggest there was no long break in activity. The direction for basalt at Mt Schank differs from that of Mt Gambier by several degrees, and indicates that the two volcanoes differ in age, probably by three centuries or more. Directions for both volcanoes are much shallower than the present‐day geomagnetic direction at the locality. Palaeomagnetic field strength estimates, from baked ash at Mt Gambier and baked sand at Mt Schank, are higher than the present‐day field strength. Comparisons with other late Pleistocene and Holocene results suggest that ages for Mts Gambier and Schank are either greater than 7000 years or between 5000 and 1000 years. These conclusions are consistent with published radiocarbon ages from charcoal in fossil soil horizons sealed beneath ash deposits. 相似文献

同位素地质年龄标准样的建立,是一项重要的基础工作,它在检查和比较各种实验流程,衡量各种定年方法的可信度,标定同位素稀释剂等方面,都是必不可少的。从1977年初开始,我国同位素地质标准样小组着手建立K-Ar法标准样。为了外检,笔者曾将ZBH-25黑云母、ZBJ角闪石带到澳大利亚国立大学地球科学院进行测定。这两个样品的K-Ar稀释法年龄、40Ar/39Ar坪年龄及40Ar/39Ar等时年龄的一致性表明,这些矿物结晶以后,未受过热的挠动,也不存在过剩氩,是作标准样的理想样品。本文还介绍样品中放射成因40Ar的析出特征,并指出40Ar可能有两种存在状态,它们各具不同的晶格能。 相似文献
