Comparison of two wind algorithms of ENVISAT ASAR at high wind 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Two wind algorithms of ENVISAT advanced synthetic aperture radar (ASAR), i. e. CMOD4 model from the European Space Agency (ESA) and CMOD IFR2 model from Quilfen et al., are compared in this paper. The wind direction is estimated from orientation of low and linear signatures in the ASAR imagery. The wind direction has inherently a 180° ambiguity since only a single ASAR image is used. The 180° ambiguity is eliminated by using the buoy data from the NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) buoys moored in the Pacific. Wind speed is obtained with the two wind algorithms using both estimated wind direction and normalized radar cross section (NRCS). The retrieved wind results agree well with the data from Quikscat. The root mean square error (RMSE) of wind direction is 2.80? The RMSEs of wind speed from CMOD4 model and CMOD_IFR2 model are 1.09 m/s and 0.60 m/s, respectively. 浮游植物是水体生态系统中的重要初级生产者,其中硅藻贡献海洋初级生产力约40%,因此估算硅藻浓度对了解海洋生物地球化学过程和生态系统演变至关重要。本文基于2016年6月黄渤海和2018年7月黄渤海航次实测色素浓度数据集,利用CHEMTAX软件,获取硅藻浓度信息;之后,结合实测遥感反射率数据,利用奇异值分解方法,构建硅藻浓度反演模型。检验结果表明:模型的决定系数为0.80(p<0.001),平均绝对百分比误差和中值误差分别为58.62%和39.12%,模型适用度较高;经过卫星验证,该模型适用于GOCI(Geostationary Ocean Color Imager)传感器。将模型应用于2020年6月份GOCI月平均数据,其硅藻浓度空间分布趋势与前人研究一致。本研究成果可为近海水体硅藻生物量的遥感估算研究提供技术方法支撑。 相似文献

HY-2卫星扫描微波辐射计数据反演北极海冰漂移速度 总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
本文基于最大互相关法,利用海洋二号(HY-2)卫星扫描微波辐射计37 GHz通道多时相垂直极化亮温数据,获取了北极海冰漂移速度。采用2012年和2013年国际北极浮标计划海冰现场观测数据,对利用微波辐射计亮温资料反演的冬季北极海冰漂移速度进行了定量验证,结果表明:流速和流向均方根误差分别为1.12 cm/s和16.37°,从一定程度上说明了HY-2卫星扫描微波辐射计亮温数据反演海冰漂移速度的可行性。此外,使用美国国防气象卫星F-17搭载的专用微波成像仪91 GHz通道垂直极化亮温,采用高斯拉普拉斯滤波方法进行处理,结合最大互相关法反演的海冰漂移速度,优于法国海洋开发研究院海冰漂移速度产品。 相似文献

中法海洋卫星散射计(CSCAT)丰富的观测几何信息为极地海冰遥感提供了新的机遇。本文提出一种适用于CSCAT的贝叶斯海冰识别算法,不需要构建海冰地球物理模式函数和计算后向散射系数离海冰地球物理模型函数(GMF)的距离,仅利用海面风场反演伴随的最小残差即可构建CSCAT海冰识别模型。研究结果与欧洲气象卫星组织的海冰边缘线产品进行了比较,表明2021年9月南极和北极区域逐日的海冰覆盖面积估计标准差分别为1%和7%,与其他卫星散射计的海冰识别结果基本一致。这种新的海冰识别方法具有模型参数少、处理速度快、检测结果可靠的优点,对卫星地面系统的业务化处理具有重要的借鉴意义。 相似文献

In the East China Sea(ECS), the succession of causative species responsible for blooms is a recurrent phenomenon during the spring, which changes from diatoms to dinoflagellates. Observations from space and in situ cruises captured this pattern of succession during spring of 2005. In this study, we coupled two biological models, which were developed previously for Skeletonema costatum and Prorocentrum donghaiense,into a circulation model tailored for the ECS. The coupled biophysical model was used to hindcast the blooms and to test the hypothesis proposed in earlier studies that phosphate(PO4 3–) is the first-order decider of the succession. The coupled model successfully reproduced the hydrodynamics(as described in a companion paper by Sun et al.(1), the spatiotemporal distribution of the chlorophyll a(Chl a) concentration, and the species succession reasonably well. By analyzing the effects of different factors on the surface Chl a distribution, we confirmed that the offshore boundaries of the blooms were confined by PO4 3–. In addition, we suggest that surface wind fields may modulate the horizontal distribution of blooms. Thus, during the dispersal of blooms, surface winds coupled with PO4 3– may control the succession of blooms in the ECS. The proposed coupled model provides a benchmark to facilitate future improvements by including more size classes for organisms, multiple nutrient schemes, and additional processes. 相似文献

为了验证波谱仪反演二维海浪谱的功能,根据海浪波谱仪的信号形成机制,总结了机载波谱仪反演海浪的流程。利用机载波谱仪回波数据,通过自相关和互相关两种功率谱估计方法,反演了二维海浪谱。最后通过与浮标测量的二维海浪谱进行对比,验证了该机载波谱仪探测二维海浪谱的有效性。结果表明,无论采用自相关函数还是互相关函数进行功率谱估计,得到的主波波长和有效波高与实际二维海浪谱基本一致。互相关函数法得到的交叉谱能去除180°模糊现象,其在计算有效波高时相对于自相关函数会稍微偏小。在计算斜率方差时可以采用5°~12°入射角范围的后向散射系数进行公式拟合,因此定标与否并不影响最后的二维海浪谱结果,未来星载波谱仪只有靠多波束联合才能实现。 相似文献

To model Skeletonema costatum blooms and their relationship with environmental parameters in situ, a S. costatum-specifi c zero-dimensional box model based on the mechanistic model Eco3M was established using physiological features. The parameters were calibrated using experimental counterparts, and simulations were compared with published laboratory fi ndings. The resulting normalized objective function(NOF) values are less than 1.0(and in most cases less than 0.58) and the values for the slope γ(between 0.656 7–1.127 4) and R 2(between 0.806 8–0.971) are close to 1.0 for most of the sub-fi gures. This indicates good agreement between simulated and measured data and suggests that the model reproduces the general characteristics of S. costatum growth and use of nutrients under different N- or P-limiting conditions. The model is appropriate for further applications and can be used to test more scenarios using other nutrients. 相似文献

A new ocean wave and sea surface current monitoring system with horizontally-(HH) and vertically-(VV) polarized X-band radar
was developed. Two experiments into the use of the radar system were carried out at two sites, respectively, for calibration
process in Zhangzi Island of the Yellow Sea, and for validation in the Yellow Sea and South China Sea. Ocean wave parameters
and sea surface current velocities were retrieved from the dual polarized radar image sequences based on an inverse method.
The results obtained from dual-polarized radar data sets acquired in Zhangzi Island are compared with those from an ocean
directional buoy. The results show that ocean wave parameters and sea surface current velocities retrieved from radar image
sets are in a good agreement with those observed by the buoy. In particular, it has been found that the vertically-polarized
radar is better than the horizontally-polarized radar in retrieving ocean wave parameters, especially in detecting the significant
wave height below 1.0 m. 相似文献
