根据长期动荷载作用下的蠕变试验结果,研究了冻结粉土的变形和动强度特征.试验分3组,第一、二组是小振幅动荷载试验,且第二组的动荷载幅值为第一组的两倍;第三组是大振幅动荷载试验,荷载最小值取接近于零的值,最大值与第一组对应.试验结果表明:各种振幅的动荷载作用下,冻土的累积应变随荷载振动次数的变化规律相同(都包括初始蠕变阶段、稳定蠕变阶段、渐进流阶段)但数值上有差异.在初始和稳定蠕变阶段,第三组试验的累积应变小于第一、二组的,但是第三组试验稳定蠕变阶段的应变速率很大,蠕变曲线迅速进入渐进流阶段,此后其累积应变值大于小振幅动荷载试验的;第一、二组试验的应变幅值随振次的变化规律相似,但与第三组的有明显不同,而且,第三组试验的应变幅值明显大于第一、二组试验的.各种振幅动荷载作用下冻土的残余应变随振次的变化规律相同,且偏移荷载载越大或动荷载振动幅值越大,残余应变越大;冻土的动强度随荷载振动次数的增加而衰减,直至趋于极限动强度,大振幅动荷载试验的极限动强度明显小于小振幅动荷载试验的. 相似文献

考虑侧填荷载的分离式基础涵洞地基承载力新算法和试验 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
为了研究涵侧填土对采用分离式基础涵洞地基承载力的提高效应,先结合基底土体的受力特点,进行受力分析,建立计算模型,构建求解分离式基础地基极限承载力的算法,给出承载力表达式。然后在相似理论的指导下,设计了5组模型,试验模拟粉质黏土地基受荷变形直到破坏的全过程,绘出荷载-沉降曲线,测得涵侧填土高度为0、4、8、12、16 m时的地基极限承载力。试验发现:随着侧填土高度的增加,承载力显著提高,当填土为12 m时已达到885 kPa;但提高幅度表现出非线性特性,先从18.42%增加到36.11%,然后减小到3.39%;当填土达到16 m时承载力达到915 kPa且不再增加;同时发现使用本文算法与试验实测值的误差小于10%,可以考虑用此算法计算分离式基础涵洞的地基极限承载力。继而得出结论:当涵洞地基沉降满足设计要求时,涵侧填土显著提高了地基承载力,节约工程造价,且提高的幅度先增加后减少,当达到16 m时地基承载力便逐渐趋于915 kPa。 相似文献

Human actions have altered the structure and function of coastal ecosystems worldwide. In many locations, the overall portfolio of goods, cultural amenities, and supporting services provided by the marine environment has deteriorated. Ecosystem-based management (EBM) offers significant promise for addressing these issues because it is a comprehensive and integrated approach designed to reconcile conflicts and trade-offs among users of marine resources. A key step in the implementation of EBM is the establishment of target reference levels, or desired states, for indicators that reflect the status of the ecosystem. This paper reviews five approaches, borrowed from a variety of disciplines, to establish target reference levels for EBM. The approaches include the use of existing reference levels, reference directions, and reference levels based on nonlinear functional relationships, baselines, or social norms. Each approach is particularly suitable for EBM because it can be used alone or in combination with others to contextualize status for a diverse suite of ecosystem goals influenced by a wide variety of human activities. Perhaps most importantly, these approaches offer a prospectus for moving forward with EBM by using readily available information, motivating existing scientific capacity, and addressing trade-offs implicit to the setting of targets. This last point is articulated via examples of how each type of reference level might be applied in Puget Sound, WA, USA, where the efforts of scientists, managers, and policy makers have aligned recently in the interest of EBM implementation. 相似文献

When waves break against seawalls, vertical breakwaters, piers or jetties, they abruptly transfer their momentum into the structure. This energy transfer is always spectacular and perpetually unrepeatable but can also be very violent and affect the stability and the integrity of coastal structures. Over the last 15 years, increasing awareness of wave-impact induced structural failures of maritime structures has emphasised the need for a more complete approach to dynamic responses, including effects of impulsive loads. At the same time, movement of design standards toward probabilistic approaches requires new statistical tools able to account for uncertainties in the variability of wave loading processes. On the criteria for the initiation of motion in tidal inlets,deterministic and stochastic approaches
Details are given herein of the refinement and application of a three-dimensional layer integrated numerical model to predict morphological changes in tidal basins. The solution of governing differential equations, which consist of the conservation of mass and momentum for the hydrodynamics, the transport equation for the suspended sediment fluxes and the sediment mass conservation equation for the bed level changes are carried out by the use of Alternating Direction Implicit (ADI) Finite Difference Method (FDM). The model includes different criteria for the initiation of motion namely Shields (1936, Application of Similarity Principles and Turbulence Research to Bed load Movement, Hydrodynamics Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, Pub. No. 167), Kolahdoozan (1999, Numerical Modelling of Geomorphological Processes in Estuarine Waters, PhD Thesis, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Bradford, Bradford, UK, 288) and Zanke (2003, On the Influence of Turbulence on the Initiation of Sediment Motion, International Journal of Sediment Research, 18(1), 17–31), to compare different aspects of flow conditions. As the flow is highly turbulent with the random nature of its components, many researchers have tried to express sediment transport processes by using stochastic approaches. In the current study both deterministic and stochastic methods are included in the numerical model to evaluate their accuracy and efficiency. To validate the numerical model results, laboratory measurements are used, with these being obtained from an earlier experimental program undertaken by the authors. Results of a short term bed level changes in a laboratory model harbor are included for the model verification purposes. Comparisons are undertaken using different criteria for the initiation of motion, with the results highlighting that the unsteadiness in the flow parameters included in the numerical model has a major effect on the bed level changes inside the harbor, in compare with the turbulence structure of the flow. The model is then applied to a real case study of the Humber Estuary, located in the UK, with comparisons being undertaken for different criteria for the initiation of motion, using both deterministic and stochastic approaches for the long term bed level predictions. 相似文献
