Local Scour Around Piles Under Wave Action   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The model tests are performed with regular waves, and the effect of wave height, wave period, water depth, sediment size and pile diameter is evaluated. The shape and size of local scour around piles are studied. There are three typical scour patterns due to wave action. It is found that a relationship exists between the erosion depth and the wave number. An empirical formula of the maximum local scour is thus derived.  相似文献

采用双向稳定水流、清水定床、局部动床的试验方法,用正态模型研究长江口深水航道整治一期工程南导堤丁坝群坝头局部冲刷问题。结果表明,航道开挖和双本坝的存在使得下游流速有所增加,影响程度落潮大于涨潮。坝头局部冲刷主要受落潮流控制,在沿深度为单一砂粉底质情况下,坝头冲刷坑深度分别达到27m和29m;考虑到原状底质下部为极难起动的粘土,实际冲刷坑底界到达粘土层后就不再刷深,此时冲刷坑深度为7.4m和4.7m,冲刷坑的平面范围有所加大。工程设计提出的护坦尺度能较好地保护坝头前沿滩地,适当缩小护坦尺度也能起到保护作用,但冲刷范围明显增大。  相似文献

黄土坡面侵蚀特性研究对于铁路边坡及路基防护具有重要的意义。通过银西高铁董志塬段某路基护坡坡面冲刷试验,获得了不同冲刷历时、冲刷流量、坡度等条件下的坡面冲刷结果,并对坡面流水动力学特性、坡面产沙规律、坡面产沙机理进行了分析,得出以下结论:(1)坡顶和坡底比坡面中部更易受侵蚀;30°~60°斜坡在较小的冲刷强度下也能产生较明显的侵蚀沟,宜采取45°左右的多级矮坡来减弱侵蚀强度。(2)坡面流水动力学特性分析表明,试验工况水流主要处于过渡流区;平均流速与冲刷流量、坡度呈幂函数关系;达西阻力系数与冲刷流量、坡度呈负相关,且与雷诺数相关性较低。(3)平均含沙量随冲刷流量与坡度的增大而增大,随历时近似线性增加,约20 min以后,含沙量基本稳定,此过程为坡面沟道发展阶段。(4)坡面侵蚀产沙量与侵蚀切应力、有效水流功率都呈正相关,与前者近似呈线性增大关系,而与后者近似呈幂函数关系。  相似文献

为准确预测和有效应对“揭河底”冲刷险情,通过大量挖掘相关水文站1950年以来的原始测验资料,结合概化模型试验,对“揭河底”冲刷期河道断面形态调整过程及洪水位变化情况进行了深入研究。结果表明,“揭河底”冲刷期河道形态调整具有明显的规律性。从过程看,一般可分为4个阶段,即“揭河底”前的一般冲刷阶段、河底高程基本不变阶段、胶泥块揭起河床快速下降阶段和“揭河底”后期持续冲刷阶段及回淤阶段。“揭河底”洪水与非“揭河底”洪水在水位表现上差别较大,非“揭河底”洪水水位流量关系曲线较为平缓,洪水前后水位变化过程呈明显的逆时针绳套;“揭河底”洪水水位流量关系曲线较为陡峭,水位变化过程呈明显的顺时针绳套,“揭河底”发生的瞬时,水位有一个明显的升高和快速下降过程。从流态看,水面紊动剧烈的地方位于发生“揭河底”位置的下游,这也是本次研究的一个重大发现。  相似文献

水下大直径淹没圆柱在波流共同作用下的冲刷特性与非淹没情况有较大差别。在波流水槽中开展局部冲刷试验,将大直径淹没圆柱模型安装在中值粒径0.22 mm的平底沙床内,改变波浪波高和周期、水流流速和方向、圆柱淹没率,测量圆柱周围流速变化,记录柱周冲深发展历时,运用激光地形仪测量冲刷坑的地形形态,分析了淹没率Sr和相对高度hc/D对准平衡冲深的影响。结果表明,相同入射波流条件下,随相对柱高hc/D降低,冲刷发展速率、冲坑半径和深度都随之减小。当相对柱高hc/D>1时,冲深随柱高增长速率较快直至达到临界值。准平衡冲刷坑呈"倒勺状",沿圆柱左右两边呈对称分布,柱前呈半环状;圆柱正后方淤积成"马鞍状"沙丘。  相似文献

Channel confluences are key nodes within large river networks, and yet surprisingly little is known about their spatial and temporal evolution. Moreover, because confluences are associated with vertical scour that typically extends to several times the mean channel depth, the deposits associated with such scours should have a high preservation potential within the rock record. Paradoxically, such scours are rarely observed, and their preservation and sedimentological interpretation are poorly understood. The present study details results from a physically‐based morphodynamic model that is applied to simulate the evolution and alluvial architecture of large river junctions. Boundary conditions within the model were defined to approximate the junction of the Ganges and Jamuna rivers, Bangladesh, with the model output being supplemented by geophysical datasets collected at this junction. The numerical simulations reveal several distinct styles of sedimentary fill that are related to the morphodynamic behaviour of bars, confluence scour downstream of braid bars, bend scour and major junction scour. Comparison with existing, largely qualitative, conceptual models reveals that none of these can be applied simply, although elements of each are evident in the deposits generated by the numerical simulation and observed in the geophysical data. The characteristics of the simulated scour deposits are found to vary according to the degree of reworking caused by channel migration, a factor not considered adequately in current conceptual models of confluence sedimentology. The alluvial architecture of major junction scours is thus characterized by the prevalence of erosion surfaces in conjunction with the thickest depositional sets. Confluence scour downstream of braid bar and bend scour sites may preserve some large individual sets, but these locations are typically characterized by lower average set thickness compared to major junction scour and by a lack of large‐scale erosional surfaces. Areas of deposition not related to any of the specific scour types highlighted above record the thinnest depositional sets. This variety in the alluvial architecture of scours may go some way towards explaining the paradox of ancient junction scours, that while abundant large scours are likely in the rock record, they have been reported rarely. The present results outline the likely range of confluence sedimentology and will serve as a new tool for recognizing and interpreting these deposits in the ancient fluvial record.  相似文献

根据1979,1996和2009年3个时期水深地形数据,利用GIS软件分析了岱山水道西部潮滩、水下岸坡和深槽区2个时段的冲淤变化。结果显示:1979-1996年的17 a间,研究区大部分区域冲淤幅度-般在±1 m以内,只有深槽局部区域冲刷大于2 m;1996-2009年的13 a间,潮滩区冲淤变化与1979-1996年间类似,有±1 m冲淤变化,而水下岸坡和深槽区的冲刷幅度明显加大,水下岸坡平均冲刷幅度达2 m,深槽区平均冲刷幅度达3 m。据分析, 1996年以后,水下岸坡和深槽区冲刷幅度明显加大的主要原因有两个:-是岱山水道水流流速较快,粘土质的底质容易遭受冲刷;另-个是在潮滩区至水下岸坡间建设了码头和栈桥,浅水区水流部分受阻,导致深水区域流速加大,从而加剧了水下岸坡和深槽区域的冲刷幅度。  相似文献

The DF1-1 submarine pipeline was investigated using a dual-frequency side-scan sonar and a swath sounder system. More than a hundred scour pits under the pipeline were found, most of which have caused the span of the pipeline to increase and threatened its safety. The maximum allowable free span length (MAFSL) of the pipeline was determined through the limitations regarding maximum allowable stress under static or quasi-static loads and the onset of Vortex Induced Vibrations (VIV) under different hydrodynamic actions. The results show that the MAFSL under static conditions is 56 m. However, the MAFSLs are 30 m and 20 m under ordinary weather conditions and hurricane-induced currents for the 100-year return period, respectively, to avoid VIV as calculated by using the highest safety class factor. It is suggested that spanning pipelines longer than 20 m should be supported. Additionally, eight successive spans which may also threaten the pipeline were proposed. The most hazardous scour pits are along the pipeline section from KP42 to KP51.  相似文献

新沂河海口控制工程闸下河道冲刷试验研究   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
新沂河海口控制工程深泓闸闸下泓道长约1.3km,河床由淤积历时较长的淤泥质粘性土组成。试验中首先取原状土土样,通过水槽试验确定起动流速,据此选择模型沙和进行模型设计。试验表明,下游河道冲刷主要由过闸水流及河口跌水造成,其中,前者形成的冲刷坑为设计的控制条件。根据试验结果认为,对于新沂河海口控制工程这样流量大、河口潮位低的闸下泓道,冲刷是不可避免的,建议放弃海漫防冲的方法,改设板桩截墙。试验中采用的某些观点和方法,对于淤泥质粘土海岸地区河口段闸下冲刷研究具有一定的参考价值。  相似文献
