The physical processes associated with the clear-sky greenhouse effect in the presence of water vaporare examined by including surface emissivity in the greenhouse effect formulation, and by introducing anew way to partition physical processes of the greenhouse effect. In this new framework, it is found thatthe clear-sky greenhouse effect is governed by three physical processes associated with (1) the temperaturecontrast between the surface and the atmosphere, (2) the interaction between the surface emissivity andthe temperature contrast, and (3) the surface emissivity. The importance of the three physical processes isassessed by computing their vertical and spectral variations for the subarctic winter and summer standardatmosphere using the radiation model MODTRAN3 (Moderate Resolution Transmittance code Version3). The results show that the process associated with the temperature contrast between the surface andthe atmosphere dominates over the other two processes ill magnitude. The magnitude of this process hassubstantial variations in the spectral region of 1250 to 1880 cm 1 and in the far infrared region. Due tothe low-level temperature inversion over the subarctic winter, there exists a negative contribution to thegreenhouse trapping. The seasonal variations are, however, dominated by the processes associated with theinteraction between the surface emissivity and the temperature contrast as well as the surface emissivityitself. The magnitudes of these two physical processes contributing to the greenhouse trapping over thesubarctic winter are about 7 to 10 times of those over the subarctic summer, whereas the magnitude ofthe processes associated with the temperature contrast ill the subarctic summer is only about 2 times ofthat in the subarctic winter.  相似文献

A moisture budget over the Mackenzie River Basin (MRB) was computed using a high‐resolution mesoscale model with explicit microphysics for 3 lee cyclogenesis events. A unique feature of the calculation is that all the budget terms are calculated from the model and no residual terms are required. It was found that during the initial formative period of the lee cyclones, a large influx of moisture occurs at the western boundary. However, as the cyclone moves further east, a significant amount of moisture is withdrawn through the eastern and southern boundaries of the basin. Surface evaporation was found to be relatively large during the local day time and plays a vital ròle in initiating convection in the presence of frontal lifting south of 60°N within the basin. In 2 of the 3 cases, the total water in the basin increases over the history of the simulation as a result of substantial lateral flux convergence of total water content even though the total precipitation in these two events was nearly 1.4× the surface evaporation. For the 3rd cyclone, the total water in the basin decreases substantially because of precipitation and large outward moisture flux at the boundary. The dominant microphysical processes governing the transformation of various water species were condensation, deposition, autoconversion and accretion of cloud water by rain, accretion of cloud water by ice, melting of ice to rain water and evaporation of cloud and rain water. In the net horizontal flux convergence of water species, the largest was water vapor, followed by ice and cloud water. The net flux convergence of rainwater into the basin was small and the effect of the graupel processes is negligible.  相似文献

本文討論二維模型試驗所用的二种振源:扩张中心型的振源和垂直集中力型的振源。扩张中心型的振源系用压电钛酸鋇短柱体的径向伸縮,以柱面为发射面而得到的。实驗証明,柱面上的伸縮主要是由直径决定的单頻振动。因此,用寬度相应于径向振动周期的矩形电脉冲来激发晶体时,可以消除由晶体自由振动所造成的“余震”,从而得到短暫的声脉冲。单力型振源是一个用钛酸鋇晶体和黄銅棒制成的杆状发射器。这种发射器在工作頻率范围內,实际上是一个非周期性器件,因此不存在器件的自由振动問題。在实驗中研究了三种不同直径杆状发射器的发射强度与波形同发射方向角间的关系。  相似文献

本文討論了一套配合現成示波器进行地震波模型試驗用的电子线路。綫路的前置放大器的通頻带为2-700千周,增益为60分貝,輸入端短路噪声电压为2.5微伏.高压脉冲发生器产生一个寬度为2-33微秒的幅度为500伏的矩形电脉冲。时标电路产生2,10,50微秒三組吋标,基本吋标(2微秒)可由稳定的石英振蕩器随时加以校准。整个线路此較簡单、灵活,一般地球物理实驗室試制容易,且可根据具体要求加以变动。  相似文献

本文首先阐明负激电效应是客观存在的;然后用等效电阻率法导出地面上点源供电时的二次极化电位、电场强度、电流密度的表达式,并依此用线性滤波法对各种给定参数进行计算,依此对二次极化场的分布规律进行物理分析,对激电负效应给出直观的物理解释;最后,根据土槽模拟实验资料,证实了负激电效应的客观存在,反演数据也与实际情况相吻合。本文还得到二极装置和错层条件下的负激发极化效应。  相似文献
