The motions of a high speed craft are highly influenced by speed and dynamic forces that begin to be important for high Froude numbers. Classical ship motions theories and some seakeeping programs do not include the effect of these dynamic forces that mainly affect to the damping of vertical motions, and have to be corrected to model high speed crafts. In any other way, the use of these theories or programs would be unrealistic. In this paper, some theories that can be used to predict the seakeeping behaviour of high speed crafts, considering dynamic forces, are studied and validated against seakeeping tests of some fast monohulls models. Tests and results focus on vertical motions in head seas, which are the most severe for these fast crafts. Experimental results of vertical motions are compared with numerical calculations and conclusions about the range of application of the presented theories are obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, the foundation soil of offshore structure is simulated as a two phase saturated porous medium. The dynamic equations of porous medium and finite element formulation are given. For structural analysis, the technique of multilevel substructure is used, and the saturated soil analysis is set in the highest level substructure model. Based on these theories a dynamic finite element analysis program DIASS for the analysis of interaction between two phase ocean soil foundation and platform structures has been developed. A numerical example is given here to illustrate the influence of the pore water in soil on the structural response of an ocean platform.  相似文献

针对张力腿结构动力响应特点,提出一套张力腿式浮式风机动力耦合理论模型,编制计算程序,并通过与实验结果的对比,验证理论模型以及程序的适用性。张力腿式系泊系统稳定性好,但张力载荷随平台位移的变化显著;张力腿结构的动态响应与支撑平台和风机系统动态响应存在显著的耦合作用。针对张力腿浮式风机动力耦合特性,采用谱方法对张力腿结构建立耦合动力模型;考虑细长体在波浪中受到的粘性力,通过哈密顿原理推导出张力腿运动控制方程,利用自主开发的计算程序DARwind和数值计算方法求解系统动态响应。最后,将数值计算结果同UMAINE的试验数据进行对比分析,以验证程序的合理性。  相似文献

研究了用于维护和检修中国渤海海域输油管道的浅海管道检测艇的操纵性和运动仿真,提出了浅海海底管道检测艇的水动力学方程。为了更好地了解在配置上与一般潜器不同的浅海海底管线检测艇的动力学性能,通过水动力系数分析,研究了浅海海底管线检测艇的操纵性。最后根据运动方程建立了仿真系统,并通过仿真试验结果验证了仿真试验平台的可行性和可靠性。  相似文献

Radar remote sensing of the ocean has been the subject of research for about 20 years. Spaceborne radar altimetry and scatterometry are approaching maturity, and synthetic-aperture radars (SAR) show great promise. The principles of radar scattering from the sea are outlined here, along with some recently discovered questions. For wind-vector scatterometry, the principle is presented, and remaining uncertainties are outlined. Principles of SAR imaging of moving targets, and particularly the ocean surface, are outlined. The theory of SAR wave imaging is the subject of considerable controversy, and some principles that can be used in evaluating the various theories are presented, along with brief outlines of the major conflicting theories. Other uses of SAR images are discussed briefly, with a theory to explain the bathymetric expression outlined.  相似文献

The data collected in the course of a local dynamic experiment near the Crimean shore during the summer of 1991 are interpreted, using the filtration algorithm based on variation principles. As a result, the ratio between the mode amplitudes of the long-shore velocity structure has been obtained, which is consistent with the physical views about shelf water dynamics. Added resistance in waves is an important part of ship dynamic due to its economical effect on ship exploitation. Can the ship sustain speed in a rough sea state? If not, this will produce delays and economical losses if added resistance is not taken into account in the propulsion design. There are not many simple methods to obtain the added resistance in waves of a ship, and the validity of the results is not always good enough for different ships. In this paper, some theories that can be used to predict the added resistance of a ship are studied and validated against seakeeping tests of some monohull models. Tests and results focus in head seas, which are the most severe for the added resistance. Experimental results are compared with numerical calculations and conclusions about the range of application of the presented theories are obtained.  相似文献

Based on the three-dimensional zeroth-order model of the ultra-shallow water storm surge theory proposed by Chin and Feng (1975), a numerical investigation of the Bohai Sea wind surges is made. As a preliminary numerical experiment the model wind fields are designed for computations. Computational results are compared with the principal characteristics of observations as well as with some conclusions of the classical theories on storm surges presented by P. 由我国北方的寒潮或冷空气所引起的渤海风潮,按文献的分析,该属于“超浅海风暴潮”类型.以渤海风潮为例,按超浅海风暴潮理论进行数值计算,不仅对该理论是一有力的检验,且对探讨渤海风潮的机制和预报也是一个有益的参考. 将冷锋所造成的大风风场重现在计算网格上,在现场海面风资料极度贫乏的情况下,显然是一较难的课题.本文仅就发生渤海风潮时,渤海上空风场的几个主要力学特征,设计了几个理论模式风应力场,对渤海风潮进行了数值计算,以期获得全过程概貌及主要特征.计算结果达到了这一预期目的.  相似文献

A four-dimensional variational data assimilation system has been applied to an experiment to describe the dynamic state of the North Pacific Ocean. A synthesis of available observational records and a sophisticated ocean general circulation model produces a dynamically consistent dataset, which, in contrast to the nudging approach, provides realistic features of the seasonally-varying ocean circulation with no artificial sources/sinks for temperature and salinity fields. This new dataset enables us to estimate heat and water mass transports in addition to the qualification of water mass formation and movement processes. A sensitivity experiment on our assimilation system reveals that the origin of the North Pacific Intermediate Water can be traced back to the Sea of Okhotsk and the Bering Sea in the subarctic region and to the subtropical Kuroshio region further south. These results demonstrate that our data assimilation system is a very powerful tool for the identification and characterization of ocean variabilities and for our understanding of the dynamic state of ocean circulation. The problem of fatigue damage estimation of ageing jack-up platforms is considered, using theories of random processes. The sea-wave excitations are modelled as stationary, Gaussian random processes, with specified power spectral density function. The loads acting on the structure due to the sea waves is calculated using Morison’s equation and are therefore non-Gaussian whose probabilistic properties are not available in explicit form. Assuming linear structure behaviour, the probabilistic properties of the structure response are determined using theories of random vibrations. The simple peak counting method is adopted for estimating the mean fatigue damage. This requires knowledge of the joint probability density function of the structure response and its first and second time derivatives, at the same time instant. A methodology has been presented for developing analytical expressions for this joint pdf. This requires evaluation of multidimensional integrals. A recently developed computational algorithm is presented to deal with integrals for which derivation of closed form analytical expressions may not be feasible. The methodology proposed in this paper provides an alternative and computationally cheaper technique for estimating the fatigue damage in comparison to the Monte Carlo simulation procedure. Wheeler diagrams are excellent tools to represent time stratigraphy. These diagrams are produced by considering interpreted surfaces as snapshots of geologic times linked with transit cycles of the base level. The base level, defined in the nineteenth century, can be regarded as an ultimate ‘time’ reference for stratigraphic units. The application of the base level concept to deep marine settings is a more recent development, even though the same definition applies to all depositional environments. Flat timelines are also known as flattening theories can produce similar looking diagrams and have an edge that they operate in 3D. However, flattening of a dataset can be achieved with various techniques, which are reviewed and the optimum algorithm, which has a future application for hydrocarbon and research communities, is improved to honor geological constraints such as faults and horizons. A secondary aspect of the Wheeler diagrams is the dual nature of geological timelines. The diagrams are originally plotted on a relative geological time scale and no formal technique has yet been recommended for time calibration. In this paper, a nomogram approach is proposed to calibrate the timelines. The representation of unconformities that are parallel to bedding planes is another important idea presented in this paper.  相似文献

A preliminary study on the distribution of sediment transport and siltation within a semi-closed harbour as well as the factors affecting the siltation has been made with a suspended sediment model, in which the Lianyungang port is used as the prototype. Based on the work, this paper describes a tubid water experiment within a typical excavated harbour basin. According to the experimental results some expressions for predicting the average siltation amount for semi-closed harbour basins by means of dimensional analysis have been proposed, with tidal features, harbour geometry and properties of sediment taken into account. Through comparing the calculated results with the laboratory and field measured data, it has been shown that the expressions presented in this paper are reasonable.  相似文献

在储层特征分析和污水水质评价的基础上,开展了渤西油田污水回注的室内评价研究。通过计算机预测、静态结垢实验和动态结垢实验对污水与地层水相容性进行了研究,结果表明污水与地层水都存在不同程度的结垢。污水与储层岩石配伍性实验结果表明,污水对储层渗透率存在一定的损害。损害的机理可归结为水敏、固相颗粒堵塞等。进行储层保护的化学方法研究,通过室内评价实验,优选了黏土稳定剂和防垢剂,并推荐了加药浓度。  相似文献

The energy extraction performance of a flapping foil generator is studied through experiment and numerical simulation. A practical flapping foil generator has been proposed. The heave motion and the pitch motion of the foil are adjusted through a crankshaft-like structure. The heave and pitch motions of the foil are transferred to the rotational motion of the main shaft. A pair of gears is adopted to increase the pitch angle. A prototype with pitch amplitude θ0 = 60 has been built and the experiment is carried out in a tunnel. The overall performance of the mechanism has been analysed. Good agreement of numerical results and experiment data has been found. Further simulations with larger pitch amplitudes are carried out. It is found that higher efficiency can be achieved with larger pitch amplitude at medium frequency.  相似文献

波和流是近岸海区的主要动力因素。应用二维潮流数学模型和最新第三代近岸海浪模式SWAN,建立了非结构网格下二维情况近岸波流耦合作用数学模型。时间离散采用欧拉向前格式,空间离散采用有限体积法显式格式。通过将波浪场及潮流场进行迭代耦合计算,实现了对波流共同作用下波浪场和潮流场的数值模拟。将模型应用于矩形海湾实验和李孟国数模实验等理想地形以及大连长兴岛海区实际复杂地形算例,并用现场实测资料对计算结果进行验证,结果表明:耦合结果与实测结果吻合良好,并且要优于未耦合的结果。  相似文献

This paper presents a study of the siltation process in an access channel to a port through analysis of environmental data, viz. waves, tidal currents, sediment characteristics, silt concentration and siltation at site. A rational methodology has been presented to co-relate environmental data and siltation quantity, judiciously applying the various theories available to wave propagation, littoral current, sediment transport and its trapping. The efficacy of the method is then tested to simulate the observed siltation in different phases of its development in terms of widening and deepening of the channel. It is observed that estimation of the representative environmental parameters is very important as the data collected over a long period show wide variation since sediment transport formulae available are very sensitive to these parameters. An attempt has been made in this paper to understand the mechanism of siltation in the approach channel to the port.  相似文献

This study has focused on developing numerical procedures for the dynamic nonlinear analysis of cable structures subjected to wave forces and ground motions in the ocean. A geometrically nonlinear finite element procedure using the isoparamnetrie curved cable element based on the Lagrangian folmulation is briefly summarized. A simple and accurate method to determine the initial equilibrium state of cable systems associated with self-weights, buoyancy and the motion of end points is presented using the load incremental method combined with penalty method. Also the Newmark method is used for dynamic nonlinear analysis of ocean cables. Numerical examples are presented to validate the present numerical method.  相似文献
