A numerical model for generating normal fault earthquakes in the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau’s upper crust is constructed with 3-D elasto-viscous finite element method. Based on the numerical simulation calculation, some conclusions were got: If the effective viscosity of the upper crust material is less than that of lower strata of the crust in the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau, even under the strong push of India continent, the stress state of the upper crust can still be extensional in south part of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau. Numerical simulations show that the stress state changes with the depth of the lithosphere, from extensional stress state in upper crust to compressive in the lower part. Extensional stress state may exist mainly in the upper crust of the south part of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau.  相似文献

Based on the recording data from the analogue and broadband digital seismic stations in and around Qinghai-Xizang (Tibet)Platean,the three dimensiomal 3-D) seismic velocity stroctures in Qinghai-Xizang Plateau were obtained by using the regional body wave tomography and surface wave tomography.The results from these two tomography methods have similar characteristics for P-and S-wave velocity structures in crust and upper mantle.They show that there are remarkahle low velocity zones in the upper crust of L hasa block in the southern Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and the lower crust and upper mantle of Qiangtang block in the northern Qinghai-Xizang Plateau.These phenomena may be related to the different steps of collision process in southern and northern Qinghai-Xizang Plateau.  相似文献

The numerical dynamic model of Chinese mainland lithosphere's stress and strain field was constructed with elasto-viscous creep constitutive relation. The most recent data of the stress field of Chinese mainland and the horizontal movement velocity of the crust blocks were used as constraint conditions. The values of the boundary force were computed by trial-and-error method. The effect of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau's excess potential energy to the movement of Chinese mainland was studied also in this model. The results of the numerical computing show that, recent rapid raising of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and the generation of normal faults in the southern part of the plateau resulted from the convergence of Indian Plate to the Eurasian Plate, and also from the rapid convective thinning of the lower lithosphere. Horizontal extension of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau is the main dynamic factor to form the present tectonic framework of the Chinese mainland. The compressive loads on the eastern boundary of the model were mainly applied by the subduction of the Pacific Plate. The compression from the Philippine Plate maybe slight.  相似文献

The average swelling height of Qinghai-Xizang Plateau (Tibet) is about 4.1 km. The area is about 2 300 000 km2. It is the highest and the largest plateau in the world. Mount Qomolangma, the highest peak in the world, is located in the southern fringe of the plateau, and its height is still increasing. What is the driving force for the rising of the Qinghai-Xizang plateau? How high will the plateau still rise from now on? These questions are much concerned by people. In this paper the distribution of the pressure at different depths in the region of Qinghai-Xizang Plateau are derived according to the three-dimensional structures of the S-wave velocity in the crust and upper mantle. The crust and upper mantle structures of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau is deliberated on the basis of the distribution with a comprehensive analysis on the rock types, earthquakes and the relative crust movements. 青藏东南缘是青藏高原物质东流的通道,为了更全面了解复杂的岩石圈结构和强烈的变形特征,本文介绍了青藏东南缘岩石圈各向异性的形态,综合其他研究者得到的该区域壳幔各向异性结果,增加了部分新的资料,更新了青藏东南缘岩石圈方位各向异性图像,探讨了区域深部构造意义.
基于近场小震、远震和背景噪声资料计算结果,青藏东南缘地震各向异性展现出独特的区域空间分布和垂向层次性分布形态,展现了3个主要特征.(1)青藏东南缘上地壳各向异性与地表变形测量结果相符,快剪切波偏振方向(即快波方向)呈现与地表运动特征一致的发散性,与主压应力方向一致,但受到地质构造的影响.(2)青藏东南缘下地壳方位各向异性展现了更好的方向一致性,但方位各向异性程度相对较弱,在红河断裂带西北端部和小江断裂带下方有两个下地壳低速区,其方位各向异性程度与上地壳相当.(3)青藏东南缘岩石圈方位各向异性,呈现南、北分区特征,南北分界线大致在26°20'N,快波方向在北部近似为NS方向,在南部近似为EW方向.
本文推测:(1)在26°20'N北侧的上地幔有较厚的高速体,高速体南侧边缘呈现出近EW走向的直立墙形构造,其南侧软弱的上地幔物质在EW方向上流动,导致了岩石圈方位各向异性特征在空间发生突然的变化,快波方向由北部的NS变为南部的EW方向;(2)小江断裂带是现今的华南地块的地壳西边界,但岩石圈尺度的方位各向异性展现出的趋势性表明,华南地块的上地幔物质越过了小江断裂带到达其西侧,揭示了华南地块与青藏地块接触碰撞造成的岩石圈物质变形和上地幔软流圈物质运移的深部图像.地震各向异性能揭示区域深部构造与介质变形的信息,不同观测资料的综合分析有助于获得更清晰的各向异性三维图像.  相似文献

根据青藏高原及其邻区的模拟地震台站和宽频带数字地震记录资料,采用区域体波层析成你和瑞利面波层析成像,反演得到了青藏高原地区的三维地震波速度结构。两种层析成像方法得到的地壳上地幔P波和S波速度结构的结果非常相似,它们显示,青藏高原南部的拉萨块体的上地壳存在明显的低速区,青藏高原北部的羌塘地区的下地壳和上地幔顶部相对速度较低。这些结果与青藏高原南、北部处于碰撞过程中的不同阶段有关。  相似文献

青藏高原东缘低地形变速率的龙门山断裂带上相继发生了2008汶川Mw7.9级地震和2013芦山Mw6.6级地震.地震勘探与震源定位结果揭示了龙门山区域地震空间分布特征:纵向上,龙门山断裂带这两次地震主震均发生在龙门山断裂带上地壳的底部(14~19 km),绝大部分余震均发生在上地壳范围(5~25 km),而在其中、下地壳深度范围内鲜见余震发生;横向上,地震(Mw>3)在龙门山断裂带青藏高原一侧密集分布且曾有大震发生,而四川盆地地震稀少(Mw>3).为探讨龙门山断裂带地震发生机理,并解释以上龙门山区域地震空间分布特征,本文建立了龙门山断裂带西南段跨芦山地震震中区域的四种不同流变结构的龙门山断裂带三维岩石圈模型,以地表GPS观测资料为约束边界条件,数值模拟龙门山断裂带岩石圈在数千年以上长期匀速构造挤压作用下的应力积累特征,探讨了地壳分层流变性质对地壳应力积累的影响,分析了该区域地震空间分布与构造应力积累速率的关系.计算结果表明:该区域在数千年的应力积累过程中,脆性上地壳中应力表现近于恒定值的线性增长趋势,龙门山断裂带上地壳底部出现应力集中积累现象,这一应力集中现象可以解释龙门山断裂带汶川地震与芦山地震主震的发生,及其大部分余震在脆性上地壳中的触发;青藏高原一侧上地壳应力积累速率远远高于四川盆地的应力积累速率,这一应力积累分布现象可以解释龙门山区域青藏高原一侧地震密集而四川盆地地震稀少的地震空间分布特征;通过比较不同流变结构模型中的应力积累状态,认为导致这一应力积累空间分布状态的重要控制因素在于青藏高原中、下地壳较低的黏滞系数与四川盆地中、下地壳较高的黏滞系数的差异.在柔性的中、下地壳内,应力增长近于指数形式,稳定状态之后其应力增长速率近于零,构造应力积累难以达到岩石破裂强度,因而鲜见地震发生.地壳各层位的应力增长率差异与地震成层分布的现象共同揭示了龙门山区域岩石圈分层流变结构:脆性上地壳、韧性中、下地壳(青藏高原一侧较弱,四川盆地一侧较强)、韧性岩石圈上地幔.  相似文献
