Summary All total ozone observations ever made in the Northern polar region, including some from the 1930's, have been corrected and the basic climatology presented. The long-term ozone changes were considered in relation to the stratospheric temperatures. For each deviation from the monthly normal of the 100 hPa temperature by 1°C, there was found to be a corresponding 5–6 m atm-cm change in the monthly ozone deviation. A distinction between the ozone regimes over the Scandinavian, Canadian and East Siberian sectors of the polar region was noted. The strong appearance of the QBO (Quasi Biennial Oscillation) in the interannual ozone fluctuations was obvious. It is demonstrated that for the past three decades the total ozone experienced a few periods with positive and a few periods with negative deviations. In view of this, trends in ozone must obviously be based on greater than 10 years of data. During 1964–86, the weighted trend over the polar stations was (–0.9±0.4)% per decade. There have been, however, three periods (1958–64, 1968–76 and 1979–86), coinciding with the declining phase of the 11 year sunspot cycle, during which the ozone at all polar stations has been declining by about 0.5% per year (or less if the QBO component is filtered out). Some of the differences with Antarctic ozone are mentioned and the dominant role of the stratospheric circulation for the ozone variations is discussed. 霾和光化学污染已成为我国最严重的环境气象灾害,受到政府和公众广泛关注。针对我国的环境气象问题,国内外科研人员开展了大量研究工作,发表了一系列的研究成果。该文对近年来我国霾和光化学污染的观测、分析和影响研究方面的文献进行综述,为将来相关研究提供基础。在霾污染方面,主要回顾了霾的现象与判别、组成与来源、影响霾的气象因素、霾的长期趋势等方面的研究进展。在光化学污染方面,主要回顾了污染的特征与水平、污染的区域化、臭氧垂直分布、地面臭氧影响因素、臭氧污染发展趋势等方面的研究进展。此外,还概括了霾和光化学污染危害研究主要成果,在文献综述的基础上,提出了未来研究中值得关注的几方面问题,包括进一步加强霾和雾的科学判识方法、污染物相互作用、污染-气象-化学-生态间耦合效应研究,特别关注光化学污染发展态势,加强长期观测资料的积累、分析与应用等。  相似文献

青藏高原(TP)是一个对气候变化敏感的地区,其上空的臭氧分布影响着青藏高原及其周边地区的大气环境,北半球夏季青藏高原上空臭氧柱总量相对较低的现象,及其时空变化受到广泛关注.本研究利用北半球夏季5年的拉萨上空臭氧的气球测量数据,研究高原上空大气视热源(Q1)对臭氧垂直分布的影响并探讨了该过程的机制.结果表明,当TP上空对流层整体的Q1相对较高时,拉萨上空对流层臭氧浓度下降.大气更强的上升运动伴随着TP主体区域上空的Q1的增大.因此,当夏季Q1较高时,由于近地表低浓度臭氧空气向上输送,拉萨上空的对流层臭氧浓度下降.  相似文献

A Tibetan ozone low was found in the 1990s after the Antarctic ozone hole.Whether this ozone low has been recovering from the beginning of the 2000s following the global ozone recovery is an intriguing topic.With the most recent merged TOMS/SBUV(Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer/Solar Backscatter Ultra Violet) ozone data,the Tibetan ozone low and its long-term variation during 1979-2010 are analyzed using a statistical regression model that includes the seasonal cycle,solar cycle,quasi-biennial oscillation(QBO),ENSO signal,and trends.The results show that the Tibetan ozone low maintains and may become more severe on average during 1979-2010,compared with its mean state in the periods before 2000,possibly caused by the stronger downward trend of total ozone concentration over the Tibet.Compared with the ozone variation over the non-Tibetan region along the same latitudes,the Tibetan ozone has a larger downward trend during 1979-2010,with a maximum value of-0.40±0.10 DU yr 1 in January,which suggests the strengthening of the Tibetan ozone low in contrast to the recovery of global ozone.Regression analyses show that the QBO signal plays an important role in determining the total ozone variation over the Tibet.In addition,the long-term ozone variation over the Tibetan region is largely affected by the thermal-dynamical proxies such as the lower stratospheric temperature,with its contribution reaching around 10% of the total ozone change,which is greatly different from that over the non-Tibetan region.  相似文献

本文在1986年6月西藏拉萨市十通道太阳光度计六天观测工作基础上,计算了高原地区的整层大气垂直光学厚度,与北京西郊1981年6月的资料对比表明,在可见和近红外波段,拉萨市的大气光学厚度只有北京的一半,甚至更小。分析了在高原地区利用臭氧的Chappuis吸收带反演大气臭氧总量的可行性、方法、结果及其合理性。接着,本文讨论了双通道法和多通道法计算水汽光学厚度的差别,并简要分析了影响水汽总量变化的原因。本文还讨论了拉萨地区六月份大气浑浊度的时变规律及其变化机制。大气浑浊度不仅与地面大气状况(对流、地面风速等)有关,而且取决于大气的湍流结构。最后,本文利用Philips—Twomey方法反演了气溶胶的谱分布,结果表明,高原六月份气溶胶谱形大多接近Junge分布形式。另外,文中还简单讨论了折射率对反演气溶胶谱的影响。  相似文献

Observations have shown highly variable ozone depletion over the Antarctic in the 2000s, which could affect the long-term ozone trend in this region as well as the global ozone recovery. By using the total column ozone data (1979-2011), interannual variation of the springtime Antarctic ozone tow is investigated, together with its relationship with the polar vortex evolution in the lower stratosphere. The results show that springtime Antarctic ozone depletion has continued in the 2000s, seemingly contradicting the consensus view of a global ozone recovery expected at the beginning of the 21st century. The spring Antarctic polar vortex in the lower stratosphere is much stronger in the 2000s than before, with a larger area, delayed breakup time, and greater longevity during 2000-2011. Fhrther analyses show that the recent continuation of springtime Antarctic ozone depletion could be largely attributed to the abnormal variation of the Antarctic polar vortex.  相似文献

利用SAGE Ⅱ和HALOE臭氧垂直分布资料和TOMS臭氧总量资料, 研究我国北方(45°~55°N和35°~45°N范围), 东部(105°~135°E) 和西部(75°~105°E) 大气臭氧总量和垂直分布特征和差异。结果表明:我国北方东部冬季、春季和秋季臭氧总量明显大于西部, 主要表现在平流层臭氧极大值附近及其以下高度臭氧含量东部比西部明显偏大, 这种差异在冬、春季尤为明显; 随着纬度的降低, 冬季和秋季臭氧总量东、西部差异减小, 但春季臭氧总量东、西部差异没有明显改变; 夏季, 在45°~55°N范围, 东、西部臭氧分布没有明显差异, 但在35°~45°N范围, 臭氧分布东、西部差异较明显, 臭氧总量东、西部差异达到20.6 DU, 16 km以下臭氧柱总量东、西部差异达到12.8 DU。该文还对导致我国东、西部臭氧分布差异的原因进行了分析。  相似文献

Based on the Stratospheric Aerosol and Gas Experiment (SAGE) II and the Halogen Occultation Experiment (HALOE) ozone profiles and the Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (TOMS) total ozone data sets, an empirical model for estimating the vertical distribution of stratospheric ozone over China is proposed.  A singular value decomposition (SVD) is used to calculate SVD-selected fields of ozone and geopotential, which exhibit maximum covariance, from the observed zonally asymmetric total ozone field and that of the three-dimensional geopotential field thus leaving almost purely dynamical induced variations in the remaining ozone field. This procedure was applied to Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer data (TOMS) and to geopotential values from the National Centers for Environmental Prediction in the boreal mid-latitudes in the winter months of 1979–1992. Intraseasonal variability (December–February) and trend-eliminated interannual winter mean variability of total ozone and geopotential are analyzed. The first four modes of SVD analysis explain more than 70% of the covariance for the intraseasonal variability and more than 80% of that for the interannual variability. The vertical structure of geopotential regression maps reveals a clear wave-1 pattern for modes one and two and a wave-2 pattern for modes three and four. These patterns show differently but generally westward tilted phases and are more complex at heights below 70 hPa. Further a linear transport model of a conservative tracer was applied to each individual geopotential mode found by the SVD analysis in connection with an observed height and latitude dependent zonal mean ozone distribution. The model results of total ozone reproduce the spatial patterns of the SVD-selected total ozone field quite well whereas their magnitudes are variously underestimated. This method allows us to assess the vertical distribution of the contribution of single modes to the total ozone variability. Maximum contributions are found between 150 and 70 hPa. Smaller amplitude maxima are found around 10 hPa, which result from contributions of horizontal advection of ozone alone. These results reflect an expected dynamical link between the variability of the zonally asymmetric parts of geopotential and ozone. Received: 7 November 1997 / Accepted: 10 June 1998  相似文献

FY-3卫星上搭载的紫外臭氧总量探测仪(Total Ozone Unit,TOU)是我国首台自主研制的用于全球臭氧总量监测的仪器,自2008年5月至今已有3台仪器搭载在气象卫星(FY-3A/FY-3B/FY-3C)上成功发射并在轨运行。TOU利用紫外波段进行臭氧总量反演,以获得全球臭氧的分布及其变化。2013年,针对我国灰霾、沙尘等气溶胶污染事件频发的环境问题,TOU紫外探测数据被成功用于吸收性气溶胶指数(AAI)的反演,之后TOU被用于我国吸收性气溶胶污染事件的监测,为沙尘、灰霾等的预报提供监测数据。对TOU的数据和产品的质量和应用进行了介绍,包括L1B数据、臭氧总量产品及AAI指数。在此基础上,根据现有仪器的不足,对后续仪器的发展方向进行了阐述。  相似文献

The role of atmospheric ozone to protect the living organisms and vegetation from the harmful effects of ultraviolet irradiation is well known. Depletion of the ozone layer is a great threat to the human society. In this paper we have discussed the lethal effects of ozone depletion and have presented the ozone and UV-B scenarios from 1979 to 2005 at different Indian latitudes using satellite data. The erythemal UV irradiance data obtained from Nimbus-7 and Earth probe total ozone mapping spectrometer (TOMS) and the tropospheric and stratospheric ozone data obtained from the convective cloud differential (CCD) method have been used to study the variability of erythemal UV irradiance and the stratospheric and tropospheric column ozone, respectively, over a period from 1979 to 2005. The observed results along with the expected upper and lower tolerance limits for tropospheric and stratospheric ozone, respectively, for different Indian latitudes, which have been estimated statistically using monthly mean CCD ozone data from 1979 to 2005 have been discussed in detail.  相似文献

Based on the Stratospheric Aerosol and Gas Experiment (SAGE) II and the Halogen Occultation Ex-periment (HALOE) ozone profiles and the Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (TOMS) total ozone data sets,the characteristics and variations of the vertical distribution of stratospheric ozone covering the latitude bands of 50oN±5oN,40oN±5oN,30oN±5oN,and 20oN±5oN and the longitude range of 75-135oE are investigated.The results indicate that the ozone distribution pattern over China not only has general behaviors,but also has particular char-acteristics.In view of the situation that ozone distribu-tions have substantial deviation from zonal symmetry in northern China,the differences of the vertical ozone dis-tribution between the east and the west part of northern China are studied.The results indicate that during winter,spring,and autumn,in the latitude bands of 50oN±5oN,40oN±5oN,ozone concentrations in the eastern part (105 -135oE) are obviously higher than those of the west (75-105oE) at the altitudes of ozone density maximum and below;during summer,in the latitude band of 50oN±5oN,the east-west ozone profile difference is small,but in the latitude band of 40oN±5oN,the east-west total ozone difference becomes as large as 14.0 DU,and the east-west ozone profile difference mainly exists in the lowermost stratosphere and troposphere.  相似文献

The results of lidar measurements of ozone profiles over Obninsk in the altitude range of 12–35 km in 2012–2016 are presented. Temporal variations in total ozone in the above altitude range and seasonal variations in the vertical distribution of ozone are considered. Basic attention is paid to the analysis of ozone profile variations on the daily and weekly scales. The backtrajectory analysis demonstrated that in most cases the formation of layers with low or high ozone values is explained by the direction of meridional advection. Cross-correlation coefficients for the variations in ozone and temperature relative to the current monthly mean variations are calculated. Rather high values of correlation coefficients (~0.4–0.6) are obtained for summer in the low stratosphere (100 and 160 hPa) and for winter in the upper troposphere (50 and 20 hPa). In general, variations in ozone profiles are consistent with available climatologic data.  相似文献

This paper uses Dobson spectrometer total ozone data,Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer(TOMS) data and radiosonde reports from Kunming,which is located in southwest China,from 1980 to 2008 to analyze the total ozone-climate relationship.The total ozone decadal long-term trend and abrupt change were studied using enhanced Dobson data whose missing data were amended by the TOMS data.Stepwise linear regression was used for the selection of the key factors that influence total ozone,including temperatures,geopotential heights,depressions of the dew point,wind velocities,and total solar radiation.The relationship between the selected factors and total ozone was analyzed using the methods of stepwise regression and partial least squares regression(PLSR).Results showed that although the PLSR method was slightly better and more reasonable to study the relationship than stepwise regression,while the two regression results were only slightly different.It was also suggested that local climate,especially local circulation and temperature,were important for the variations in total ozone,and the local climate could almost linearly explain 80% of the variance of total ozone.The relationship also indicated that the abrupt change of total ozone in the year 1994 may be related to abrupt local climate change.  相似文献

对我国河北香河、云南昆明、青海瓦里关及黑龙江龙凤山地基观测臭氧总量与不同时期、不同卫星反演的产品差别特点进行比较,评估地基和卫星观测臭氧总量数据的质量信息以及近30年来我国不同区域臭氧总量的变化趋势特征。结果表明:4个站点的地基与卫星观测臭氧总量的绝对和相对差别分别为-5~10 DU和-5%~4%;日平均相对差别基本上呈现随机分布特征。TOMS算法反演的卫星臭氧总量与地基差别总体上要优于与DOAS算法反演的同期产品。地基与卫星臭氧总量差别呈明显的区域特点,可能反映了卫星反演计算中所需的臭氧、温度垂直分布等初始条件的纬度分布差异对卫星产品精度的影响。在过去30年,4个站点的臭氧总量在经历1993年前的显著降低后于1995—1996年逐渐回升,而瓦里关站在2001年前后的回升更为明显。  相似文献

A one-dimensional time-dependent photochemical model is used to simulate the influence of ion-produced NOx, and HOx radicals on the Antarctic ozone depletion in polar night and polar spring at a latitude of 73 degrees south.Vertical transport and nitrogen-oxygen (NOx), hydrogen-oxygen (HOx) production by ionic reactions have been introduced into the model.NOx and HOx produced by precipitating ions are transported into the lower stratosphere by vertical motion and have some effects in the development of the Antarctic ozone depletion.From winter through spring the calculated ozone column decreases to 269.4 DU. However, this value is significantly higher than the total ozone observed at several Antarctic ozone stations.  相似文献

根据臭氧、气象探空观测数据,分析了1996年7月5日至8月3日西宁(36°44’N,101°45'E,海拔高度2296m)上空对流层臭氧垂直分布变化与气象要素之间的关系。对流层臭氧浓度的增加(减少)总伴随着干、冷(暖、湿)气流的输送变化,而这又与大气垂直方向的运动是紧密联系在一起的。分析表明天气动力输送过程对对流层臭氧垂直分布变化有重要作用。  相似文献
