Zoisite-bearing high-pressure pegmatites from the MünchbergMassif, Germany, provide an excellent example of the characteristicsof the onset of metabasite melting at eclogite-facies conditions.The pegmatites were derived by partial melting of a mid-oceanridge basalt (MORB)-like eclogite at T 680°C/2·3GPa to 750°C/3·1 GPa, which produced small amountsof tonalitic to trondhjemitic melt. The melt concentrated locallyin isolated, small melt pockets and crystallized primary zoisiteas liquidus phase at P 2·3 GPa/680°C to 2·1GPa/750°C. Compositional zoning of pegmatite zoisite recordsan ensuing multi-stage uplift history with successive, discretecrystallization events at 1·4 ± 0·2 GPa/650–700°Cand 1·0 ± 0·1 GPa/620–650°C.Resorption textures indicate reheating and thermal perturbationof the whole system prior to each successive crystallizationevent. Final solidification of zoisite-pegmatites occurred at0·9 ± 0·1 GPa/620–650°C. Thedata suggest that isolated melt + zoisite crystal mush pocketsformed an integral part of the eclogite throughout uplift frommelt formation at T 680°C/2·3 GPa to 750°C/3·1GPa to final solidification at 0·9 GPa/620–630°C;that is, over a depth range of 45–60 km. The entire pegmatite-formingprocess was probably fluid conserving: fluid present duringmelt formation was trapped by fully or nearly water-saturatedsiliceous melts, whereas fluid liberated during pegmatite crystallizationinteracted with dehydrated eclogite-facies assemblages to formamphibolite-facies hydrous minerals. A set of empirical Dmelt/eclogitevalues based on mean zoisite-pegmatite and eclogite compositionwere used to model the onset of partial high-pressure meltingof metabasites. The internal organization of plankton communities plays a key role in biogeochemical cycles and in the functioning of aquatic ecosystems. In this study, the structure of a marine plankton community (including both unicellular and multicellular organisms) was inferred by applying an ecological network approach to species abundances observed weekly at the long‐term ecological research station MareChiara (LTER‐MC) in the Gulf of Naples (Tyrrhenian Sea, Mediterranean Sea) in the summers of 2002–2009. Two distinct conditions, characterized by different combination of salinity and chlorophyll values, alternated at the site: one influenced by coastal waters, herein named ‘green’, and the other reflecting more offshore conditions, named ‘blue’. The green and blue ‘phases’ showed different keystone biological elements: namely, large diatoms and small‐sized flagellates, respectively. Several correlations amongst species belonging to different trophic groups were found in both phases (connectance ~0.30). In the green phase, several links between phytoplankton and mesozooplankton and within the latter were detected, suggesting matter flow from microbes up to carnivorous zooplankton. A microbial‐loop‐like sub‐web, including mixo‐ and heterotrophic dinoflagellates and ciliates, was present in the green phase, but it was relatively more important in the blue phase. The latter observation suggests a more intense cycling of matter at the microbial trophic level in the blue phase. These results show that different modes of ecological organization can emerge from relatively small changes in the composition of aquatic communities coping with environmental variability. This highlights a significant plasticity in the internal structure of plankton webs, which should be taken into account in predictions of the potential effects of climatic oscillations on aquatic ecosystems and biogeochemical cycles therein.  相似文献

松辽盆地西缘与大兴安岭东缘的边界断裂带,又称嫩江-八里罕断裂带,位于东北地区中部,中亚造山带东段。断裂带呈NNE走向,沿内蒙古自治区、黑龙江省与吉林省的交界,一直向南延伸至河北省境内与平场-桑园大断裂相接,全长1200km。该断裂带传统认识上被认为是一条NNE向的大型正断层或拆离断层。目前对于断裂带性质的研究主要集中在其北段的嫩江断裂,但侧重区域地球物理方面,通过布格重力异常、航磁异常、深反射剖面研究确定了断裂带的走向、展布位置,及伸展拆离断层或大型低角度正断层的性质;其南段断裂带(红山-八里罕断裂)的研究,主要与喀喇沁隆起的形成时间、性质、演化阶段等方面相联系;然而对断裂带中段的嫩江-八里罕断裂的研究少有报道。近期,我们报导了嫩江-白令海断裂带岭下及白城地区发现的具有左旋走滑性质的韧性剪切带,并同断裂带南段的红山-八里罕断裂带楼子店地区进行系统的对比。通过对岭下地区韧性剪切带详细的野外调查、构造要素测量、显微构造研究、同构造变形岩石的有限应变分析、石英EBSD组构分析以及白云母40Ar/39Ar年代学研究,我们认为岭下韧性剪切带与楼子店韧性剪切带的变形特征一致,证实了红山-八里罕断裂带至少可以向北延伸至中段岭下地区,其性质同为左行走滑韧性剪切带,并具有相同的早期走滑时限(~130Ma)。本次,我们进一步对嫩江-白令海断裂带中北段尼尔基地区韧性剪切带进行研究,通过对带内韧性变形岩石构造要素系统测量和统计、显微构造观察、有限应变测量等方面的研究,表明其岩石类型属L型构造岩,具左行剪切特征。综合分析发现除构造岩的类型(岭下与楼子店地区发育S-L型构造岩),其余与岭下与楼子店地区韧性剪切带性质相同。另外,年代学表明L型花岗质岩石中发育的锆石,1)呈自形具有致密的韵律环带,且Th/U比值介于0.06至1.25之间,显示了岩浆成因特点;2)年龄大体分为两个区间258~403Ma(n=5)和207~174Ma(n=15,加权平均年龄为190.0±6.1Ma);3)较老年龄258~403Ma的锆石普遍具有"核-边"结构,证实了该区域存在多期古生代岩浆事件。207~174Ma的锆石中,两粒锆石呈现~190Ma核部年龄,反映了区域内曾经历了早侏罗世的一次强烈的岩浆侵入事件,此后尼尔基地区韧性剪切带形成于中侏罗世(~170Ma),而并非是前人认为的二叠纪。白云母激光40Ar/39Ar年代学显示了一个稳定的年龄坪为158.99±0.61Ma。通过显微构造的观测发现长石残斑与S-C组构指示了左行韧性剪切特征,其动态重结晶主要为膨凸式特点(BLG)。而石英颗粒边界相嵌现象明显,为亚晶粒旋转(SR)向颗粒边界迁移(GBM)重结晶过渡阶段。综合长石和石英的重结晶特征指示,其变质条件为高绿片岩相,变形温度在500℃左右,显然高于白云母的封闭温度(300~400℃),故此我们认为尼尔基左行韧性剪切带的快速隆升时间应为中晚侏罗世(158.99±0.61Ma)。结合最新发表的东北地区黑龙江蓝片岩(前人称之"黑龙江群")与郯庐断裂带北段两个分支(佳依断裂与敦密断裂)的年代学数据,以及西太平洋板块的俯冲速度和方向的相关证据,我们认为1)嫩江-八里罕断裂可能经历了三期变形演化阶段,包括中-晚侏罗世左行伸展走滑阶段(~160Ma),早白垩世中期左行走滑/斜滑剪切阶段(~130Ma)及早白垩世晚期的伸展阶段;2)两期走滑剪切阶段与郯庐断裂带及其北段两个分支具有相似性,其中早期~160Ma的走滑剪切事件相对于佳木斯地块与松嫩地块的拼合时间(~170Ma)晚近10Myr;3)松辽盆地形成早期受到中-晚侏罗世的左行走滑断裂的控制,该左行走滑断裂的成因应归功于侏罗纪时西太平洋板块向欧亚大陆下快速的斜向俯冲有关。  相似文献

The Jurassic succession of Gangta Bet in the Kachchh basin of western India comprises around 130 m of mostly siliciclastic rocks. The strata belong to the Gangta Member of the Gadhada Formation and are herein sub-divided into four units: the Gangta sandstone beds, the lower silty sandstone beds, the upper silty sandstone beds, and the Gangta ammonite beds. These units can be separated by three marker horizons: the Brachiopod bed, the Gangta Conglomerate Bed, and the Gervillella Bed. Ammonites indicate an Oxfordian age for the upper half of the succession, but the scarcity of identifiable fossils in its basal part so far prevented precise biostratigraphic assignments. The shallow-water sediments can be interpreted as parasequences as a result of minor sea-level changes. Deposition took place close to the palaeo-coastline at water depths around the fair-weather wave-base.  相似文献

新生代阿尔卑斯是非洲和欧洲之间的陆陆碰撞造山带。强烈的造山作用使大量前中生代基底出露地表,尽管这些基底被强烈逆冲推覆和走滑叠置,但是仍保留较丰富的前中生代基底演化信息。结合近几年对东阿尔卑斯原-古特提斯的研究,本文梳理和重建了阿尔卑斯前中生代基底的构造格局,认为前阿尔卑斯基底受原特提斯、南华力西洋、古特提斯洋构造体系影响而经历了多期造山过程。新元古代-早古生代的原阿尔卑斯作为环冈瓦纳地块群的组成部分,受原特提斯洋俯冲的制约,是新元古-早古生代环冈瓦纳活动陆缘的组成部分,其中,海尔微-彭尼内基底组成外缘增生系统,包括卡多米期地壳碎片在内的陆缘弧/岛弧以及大量增生楔组成内缘增生系统。早奥陶世瑞亚克洋打开,随后原阿尔卑斯从冈瓦纳陆缘裂离,在泥盆纪-石炭纪受南华力西洋控制,海尔微-彭尼内-中、下奥地利阿尔卑斯从冈瓦纳分离。在早石炭世(维宪期)南阿尔卑斯(或与之相当的冈瓦纳源地块)与北部阿莫里卡地块群拼贴增生于古欧洲大陆南缘,共同组成华力西造山带(广义),华力西期缝合带保留在绍山-科尔山南侧。晚石炭世-早二叠世,阿尔卑斯受古特提斯洋的俯冲影响,在华力西造山带南侧形成安第斯山型活动大陆边缘,古特提斯洋在阿尔卑斯的演化至少持续到早三叠世,消亡遗迹保留在中奥地利阿尔卑斯基底的Plankogel杂岩中。  相似文献

Sediment budgeting concepts serve as quantification tools to decipher the erosion and accumulation processes within a catchment and help to understand these relocation processes through time. While sediment budgets are widely used in geomorphological catchment-based studies, such quantification approaches are rarely applied in geoarchaeological studies. The case of Charlemagne's summit canal (also known as Fossa Carolina) and its erosional collapse provides an example for which we can use this geomorphological concept and understand the abandonment of the Carolingian construction site. The Fossa Carolina is one of the largest hydro-engineering projects in Medieval Europe. It is situated in Southern Franconia (48.9876°N, 10.9267°E; Bavaria, southern Germany) between the Altmühl and Swabian Rezat rivers. It should have bridged the Central European watershed and connected the Rhine–Main and Danube river systems. According to our dendrochronological analyses and historical sources, the excavation and construction of the Carolingian canal took place in AD 792 and 793. Contemporary written sources describe an intense backfill of excavated sediment in autumn AD 793. This short-term erosion event has been proposed as the principal reason for the collapse and abandonment of the hydro-engineering project. We use subsurface data (drillings, archaeological excavations, and direct-push sensing) and geospatial data (a LiDAR digital terrain model (DTM), a pre-modern DTM, and a 3D model of the Fossa Carolina] for the identification and sediment budgeting of the backfills. Dendrochronological findings and radiocarbon ages of macro remains within the backfills give clear evidence for the erosional collapse of the canal project during or directly after the construction period. Moreover, our quantification approach allows the detection of the major sedimentary collapse zone. The exceedance of the manpower tipping point may have caused the abandonment of the entire construction site. The spatial distribution of the dendrochronological results indicates a north–south direction of the early medieval construction progress. © 2020 The Authors. 黄铁矿是富有机质沉积的特征矿物。根据TOC/S、TOC/DOP、S/Fe关系以及S TOC Fe多重线性回归分析结果对三水盆地古近系〖HT5”,6”〗土〖KG-*3〗布〖HT5”SS〗心组红岗段黑色页岩中沉积黄铁矿的形成及其控制因素进行了分析。土布心组红岗段黑色页岩的黄铁矿有成岩黄铁矿和同生黄铁矿两种成因组分。红岗段下部(亚段A)有机碳含量普遍较低,底部水体以弱氧化条件为主,硫酸盐还原作用发生于沉积物/水界面以下,黄铁矿为成岩成因,其形成主要受有机质的限制。红岗段中上部(亚段B和C)的沉积条件变化频繁,其有机碳含量变化幅度大。富有机质(TOC>4%)岩层形成于缺氧的底部水体条件下。水体中可含H2S,碎屑铁矿物在埋藏之前即与之在水体中反应形成同生黄铁矿。这一过程不受有机质的限制,而是受活性铁与H2S接触时间的限制。同时,由于大量淡水输入导致硫酸盐浓度的降低,从而对硫化物形成有一定的限制作用。对于低有机质(TOC<4%)样品,黄铁矿由同生和成岩组分组成。其中以成岩黄铁矿为主,其形成过程主要受有机质限制,而同生黄铁矿受铁矿物与H2S接触时间的限制。  相似文献
