Variation of reactivity of particulate and sedimentary organic matter along the Zhujiang River Estuary 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
To investigate organic matter source and reactivity in the Zhujiang River (Pearl River)Estuary and its adjacent areas, particulate organic carbon (POC), particulate hydrolysable amino acids (PHAA), and Chl a during two cruises in July 1999 and July 2000 were measured. The highest POC and PHAA concentration was observed in the waters with maximum Chl a. The spectra distribution,relative content (dry weight in milligram per gram), PHAA-C% POC and other indicators such as the ratios of amino acids vs. amino sugars (AA/AS) and glucosamine vs. galactosamine (Glum/Gal) suggested that particulate amino acids in the water column and sediments in the Zhujiang River Estuary were mainly derived from biogenic processes rather than transported from terrestrial erosion. In inner estuary where high turbidity was often observable, organic matter was mainly contributed by re-suspension of bottom sediments with revealed zooplankton, microbial reworked characteristics, which suggest that these organic matters were relatively “old“. In the estuarine brackish region, organic matter in water column is mainly contributed by relatively fresh, easily degradable phytoplankton derived organic matter.During physical - biological processes within the eastuary, organic matter derived from phytoplankton was subjected to alteration by zooplankton grazing and bacterial reworking. 相似文献

Using the National Center for Enviromental Prediction/National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCEP/NCAR) reanalysis data and NOAA satellite-obser ved outgoing long-wave radiation (OLR) data, the development of the South China Sea (SCS) summer monsoon and intraseasonal (30-60 d) oscillation (ISO) have been examined. The results show that there exists obvious interannual variability of intraseasonal oscillaiton. Using the 16 a time series of filtered OLR averaged over the SCS, an index is defined to define ““onset events““ over the SCS on the ISO time scales. Of the 16 a examined here, 10 shows a strong ISO signal in the onset of monsoon convection over the SCS. In these cases, the ISO initially suppresses the seasonal development of southwesterly and cyclonic circulation over the SCS before the ISO onset. As the ISO propagates northeastward, the low frequency cyclonic circulation anomaly occurs in the SCS and the low frequency southwesterly wind and convection over here dramatically intensify. The northeast progression of the ISO anomaleis plays a role in the initial suppression and then acceleration of the seasonal cycle of the SCS summer monsoon. 相似文献

应用聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳(PAGE)技术对取自厦门火烧屿海水网箱的花尾胡椒鲷人工鱼养殖群体的遗传多样性进行等位酶分析。结果表明:所检测的16种同工酶的24个基因座位中,在XDH和GCDH基因座位上发现多态性,其平均多态位点比例为8.33%,基因座位有效等位基因的平均数Ne为1.083,平均杂合度的观测值Ho为0.00556,预期值He为0.00537,Hardy-Weinberg遗传偏离指数(D)为0.035。与其他鱼类相比较说明了其遗传多样性处于较低水平,文中对此进行了探讨并提出相应的种质资源管理保护措施。 相似文献

A total of 67 samples from the upper and lower sediment traps in the central South China Sea were analyzed, which were collected during 1993~1996. It is indicated that the distribution of stable isotope values, surface primary productivity, fluxes of total particulate matter, carbonate, biogenic opal, organic carbon, planktonic foraminiferal species and their total amount exhibit obviously seasonal and annual fluctuations. High values of the fluxes occurred in the prevailing periods of the northeastern and southwestern monsoons, and the low values occurred during the periods between the two monsoons. The fluxes of some planktonic foraminiferal species (Globigerinoides sacculifer, G. ruber, Globigerinita glutinata, Neogloboquadrina dutertrei) and their percentages also exhibit two prominent peaks during the prevailing periods of the northeastern and southwestern monsoons respectively, while those of Globigerina bulloides, Globorotalia menardii and Pulleniatina obliquiloculata only exhibit one peak in the prevailing periods of the northeastern monsoon. In addition, fluxes and percentages of Globigerinoides sacculifer and Globorotalia menardii as well as the fluxes of carbonate and total amount of planktonic foraminifera decrease gradually from 1993 to 1996, and those of Globigerina bulloides, Globigerinita glutinata and biogenic opal increase gradually from 1993 to 1996. The fluxes of carbonate and organic carbon in the upper trap are higher than those in the lower one. The study indicates that the seasonal and annual variations of the sediment fluxes and planktonic foraminiferal species are mainly controlled by the changes of surface primary productivity and hydrological conditions related to the East Asian monsoon. 南海西沙海槽地区的海底热流测量 总被引:20,自引:0,他引:20
为了解南海西沙海槽区的地热特征,利用Ewing型地热探针在该区开展了地热测量,并利用TK04热导率仪测量了相关站位表层沉积物样品的热导率,获得了7个站位的热流数据。结果表明,研究区7个站位的热导率变化范围为0.88~1.06 W/m.K,平均为0.96 W/m.K,地温梯度变化范围为85~120℃/km,热流值变化范围为83~112 mW/m2,平均达到95 mW/m2。分析表明测量结果与20世纪80年代中美合作在西沙海槽的地热测量结果一致性较好,说明研究区仍具有高热流特征,推测高热流特征可能与本区高热背景、莫霍面埋深较浅、断裂发育、晚期岩浆活动和基底起伏等有关。 相似文献

东海秋季典型站位沉降颗粒物通量 总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6
2002年9月在东海的长江口、中陆架区和浙江近岸上升流区三个站位放置沉积物捕获器采集沉降颗粒物。在对颗粒有机碳(POC)、颗粒有机氮(PON)和总颗粒碳(PC)元素分析基础上,采用颗粒物通量模型对沉降通量进行了研究。镜检发现细小无机颗粒物和大颗粒聚合体是三个站位沉降颗粒物的主要形式。大颗粒聚合体有住囊类、粪球聚合体、硅藻聚合体和混杂聚合体四种类型。研究结果显示,东海中陆架区和浙江近岸上升流区沉降颗粒物中POC、PON和PC的百分含量均呈现随水深增加明显降低的趋势,但在长江口,这些成分的含量低且上下均匀。长江口观测到的是大风后的一个实例,存在强烈的再悬浮,各水层颗粒物沉降通量平均(±SE)高达(319.02±65.33)g/(m2.d),尽管如此,沉降颗粒物有机态C/N值却很高(18.0±0.9),明显受陆源颗粒物的影响。POC净沉降通量在浙江近岸上升流区为961mg/(m2.d)(水深55m),在东海中陆架区为123mg/(m2.d)(水深88m),可见浙江近岸上升流区是POC向海底转移的重要区域之一,其垂直转移能力明显高于东海中陆架区。在上升流区域和中陆架区,POC的输出比率大约分别为48%—77%和15%—21%。浙江近岸上升流区和东海中陆架区底层颗粒物再悬浮比率分别为66.50%和88.52%。研究显示,浙江近岸上升流区的水体底层颗粒物受底部平流的影响比东海中陆架区相对较强。 相似文献
