Based on the three component accelerograms, recorded at near-field distance by a temporary seismic network consisting of digital
cassette tape recording accelerographs, the focal mechanisms of three aftershocks of the April 18, 1985, Luquan, Yunnan Province,
China, earthquake ofM
S=6.1, are calculated using seismic moment tensor inversion technique. The phases of direct P, S and converted SP waves in
the displacement seismograms, produced by twice integrations of the observed accelerograms, are identified via forward calculation
using Green’s functions for homogeneous semi-infinite elastic medium, and used in the inversion. The results of inversion
show that a better fit of synthetic to the observed seismograms of direct as well as converted phases can be achieved if appropriate
weighting functions are used in solving the over definite linear equations. While these aftershocks are of different magnitudes
(M
L=4.8, 3.2 and 3.5, respectively) and hypocentral locations, their focal mechanisms are very similar and consistent with that
of the main shock. This feature demonstrates the intrinsic correlation between the occurrence of aftershocks and the seismogenic
fault of main shock. Our experimentations show that using the near field accelerogram obtained from the digital seismic network
with appropriate azimuthal coverage on the focal sphere, with the aid of even simple medium model, not only the shear dislocation
source, but also the isotropic part and CLVD (compensated linear vector dipole) can be retrieved by the technique of moment
tensor inversion.

China’s continental crust (CCC) has an average thickness of 47km, with the upper continental crust (CUCC) being 31 km and
the sedimentary layer(CSL) 5 km in thickness. The CCC, CUCC and CSL measure 12.437 × 10−17, 8.005 × 10−17 and 1.146 × 1017 metric tons in mass, respectively. The mass ratio of the upper continental crust to the lower one is 1.8:1. The element abundances
were calculated for the CCC, CUCC and CSL respectively in terms of the chemical compositions of 2246 samples of various types
and some complementary trace element data. The total abundance of 13 major elements accounts for 99.6% of the CCC mass while
the other minor elements only account for 0.4%. REE characteristics, the abundance ratios of element pairs and the amounts
of ore-forming elements are also discussed in the present paper. 相似文献

The adsorption of H+, OH– and ARS (Alizarin Red S) onto hydrous fluorapatite surfaces and Ca2+—ARS complexation in solution were studied by means of combined potentiometric and spectrophotometric titrations, as well as zeta potential and FT-IR measurements. In this paper, the dynamic stress concentration and scattering of SH-waves by bi-naterial structures that possess an interface elliptic cavity are investigated. First, by using the complex function method, the Green‘s function is constructed. This yields the solution of the displacement field for an elastic half space with a semi-elliptic canyon impacted by an anti-plane harmonic line source loading on the horizontal surface. Then, the problem is divided into an upper and lower half space along the horizontal interface, regarded as a harmony model. In order to satisfythe integral continuity condition,the unknown anti-plane forces are applied to the interface. The integral equations with unknown forces can be established through the continuity condition, and after transformation, the algebraic equations are solved numerically. Finally, the distribution of the dynamic stress concentration factor (DSCF) around the elliptic cavity is given and the effect of different parameters on DSCF is discussed. 相似文献

This study is aimed at investigating the vertical velocity profile of flow passing over a vegetal area by an analytical approach. The soil ground is considered as pervious and thus non-zero velocity at the ground surface can be estimated. The soil and vegetation layers are regarded as homogeneous and isotropic porous media. Therefore the solution of the flow can be obtained by applying the theory of turbulent flow and Biot’s theory of poroelasticity after dividing the flow field into three layers: homogenous water, vegetation and pervious soil. The velocity distribution is compared with the experimental data of [Rowiński PM, Kubrak J. A mixing-length model for predicting vertical velocity distribution on flows through emergent vegetation. J Hydrol Sci 2002;47(6):893–904] to show its validity. In addition, five dimensionless parameters denoting the variation of slope, permeability of soil, Reynolds stress, density of vegetation, and relative height of vegetation are proposed to reveal their effects on the surface water flow. The analytical solutions of flow velocity can also be simplified into simpler expressions to describe the flow passing over a non-vegetated area. 相似文献

We investigate the temporal behaviour of the axial component of the electromagnetic core-mantle coupling torque that is associated
with the poloidal part of the geomagnetic field observable at the Earth surface. For its computation, we use different models
of the geomagnetic field, expanded into spherical harmonics (Wardinski and Holme, 2006; Sabaka et al., 2004), and the mantle
conductivity. The geomagnetic field, which we have to know at the core-mantle boundary for the associated computations, will
be inferred from the field at the Earth surface by the non-harmonic field continuation through a conducting mantle shell.
The aims of this investigation are (i) to check how sensitive is the computation of the torque with respect to the different
geomagnetic field models, (ii) to check its dependence on the spherical harmonic degree n, and (iii) to determine the difference
between the mechanical torque derived from the observed length-of-day variations (atmospheric influence subtracted) and the
poloidal electromagnetic torque in dependence on the assumed conductivity. To use the non-harmonic field continuation for
the torque calculation and to obtain an insight into the influence of the different geomagnetic field models on the EM torques
are the major aspects of this paper.

The Alleret maar (Massif Central, France) provides a long lacustrine sequence (40.6 m) attributed to the early Middle Pleistocene. Sediment, pollen and diatoms analysis of its upper part (AL2 core, 14.6 m) indicates two temperate phases marked by high lake levels, forest development and vegetation expansion. They are separated by a cold period during which lake level drops, coarse sediment input increases and steppic and xerophilous plants develop. Pollen data suggests that this sequence belongs to the upper part of the Cromerian complex. These results are in agreement with the 557 ± 3 ka (±12 ka, including all errors) 40Ar/39Ar age obtained from an interbedded tephra layer emitted by the Mont-Dore/Sancy strato-volcano and establish that this sequence probably covers the MIS 15 substages. 相似文献
