Enriching user profiles using geo-social place semantics in geo-folksonomies

Geo-folksonomies link social web users to geographic places through the tags users choose to label the places with. These tags can be a valuable source of information about the user’s perception of place and can reflect their experiences and activities in the places they label. By analysing the associations between users, places and tags, an understanding of a place and its relationships with other places can be drawn. This place characterisation is unique, dynamic and reflects the perception of a particular user community that generated the geo-folksonomy. In this work, an approach is proposed to analysing geo-folksonomies that builds on and extends existing statistical methods by considering specific concepts of relevance to geographic place resources, namely, place types and place-related activities, and by building a place ontology to encode those concepts and relationships. The folksonomy analysis and evaluation are demonstrated using a realistic geo-folksonomy data set. The resulting ontology is used to build user profiles from the folksonomy. The derived profiles reflect the association between users and the specific places they tag as well as other places with relevant associated place type and activities. The methods proposed here provide the potential for many interesting and useful applications, including the harvesting of useful insight on geographic space and employing the derived user profiles to enhance the search experience and to identify similarities between users based on their association to geographic places.  相似文献

海洋传感观测服务能够实现多个海洋观测系统间的数据共享与集成,支持大范围、多学科的海洋科学研究。在软件开发过程中,由于不同观测系统的数据库异构互异,导致传感器观测服务软件难以复用,开发效率低。本文针对数据库结构的相似性进行分析,提出海洋传感观测服务的柔性开发模型,设计可适配于异构数据库的服务构件。该构件通过配置观测数据在具体数据库的存储结构,实现了数据库结构向服务模式定义的映射;服务构件根据配置信息生成数据库查询语句,实现观测数据的自动提取,避免了数据库异构导致的重复开发的问题。通过将服务构件应用在实际开发中,验证了该模型的有效性与可行性。  相似文献

大数据时代道路数据来源日益增多,跨数据源的道路选取面临巨大挑战。本文针对数据语义不一致问题,提出一种基于本体知识推理的多源道路选取方法。首先,将1∶5万基本比例尺地形图道路数据作为基础案例,将四维图新导航电子地图和开放街道地图中的道路数据作为试验数据,基于stroke计算道路等级、长度、连通度、接近度、中介度特征项,提取特征项概念并构建本体;然后,从语义特征项和数值特征项两方面计算本体概念相似性,建立基础案例与试验数据间的关联关系;最后,基于本体和语义网规则语言定义本体通用、语义特征、数值特征三类选取规则,实现跨数据源道路选取的过程性知识推理。试验表明,本文方法可基于本体概念相似性度量消除语义差异,同时利用语义网规则语言进行知识推理,可实现多源道路数据向基本比例尺数据的智能选取。  相似文献

Over the last years, geospatial web platforms, social media, and volunteered geographic information (VGI) have opened a window of opportunity for traditional Public Participatory GIS (PPGIS) to usher in a new era. Taking advantage of these technological achievements, this paper presents a new approach for a citizen-orientated framework of spatial planning that aims at integrating participatory community work into existing decision-making structures. One major cornerstone of the presented approach is the application of a social geoweb platform (the GeoCitizen platform) that combines geo-web technologies and social media in one single tool allowing citizens to collaboratively report observations, discuss ideas, solve, and monitor problems in their living environment at a local level. This paper gives an account of an ongoing participatory land-zoning process in the Capital District of Quito, Ecuador, where the GeoCitizen platform is applied in a long-term study.  相似文献

Forced secondary resonances at the 3 : 1 commensurability

For the 3 : 1 Jovian resonance problem, the time scales of the two degrees of freedom of the resonant Hamiltonian are well-separated [5]. With the adiabatic approximation, the solution for the fast oscillations can be found in terms of the slowly varying variables. Thus the rapidly oscillating terms in the slow oscillation equations can be treated as forced terms. We refer to the resonance between the forcing and intrinsic frequencies as a forced secondary one in this paper. We discuss the forced secondary resonances in asteroidal motion at the 3 : 1 commensurability by using Wisdom's method. The results show that the orbits situated originally near the resonance will leave the neighbourhood of resonance and tend to the separatrices and critical points for different energies, respectively. We have not found any stochastic web as expected in this case.
