The Tibetan Plateau, the Roof of the World, is the highest plateau with a mean elevation of 4000 m. It is characterized by high levels of solar radiation, low air temperature and low air pressure compared to other regions around the world. The alpine grassland, a typical ecosystem in the Tibetan Plateau, is distributed across regions over the elevation of 4500 m. Few studies for carbon flux in alpine grassland on the Tibetan Plateau were conducted due to rigorous natural conditions. A study of soil respiration under alpine grassland ecosystem on the Tibetan Plateau from October 1999 to October 2001 was conducted at Pangkog County, Tibetan Plateau (31.23°N, 90.01°E, elevation 4800 m). The measurements were taken using a static closed chamber technique, usually every two weeks during the summer and at other times at monthly intervals. The obvious diurnal variation of CO2 emissions from soil with higher emission during daytime and lower emission during nighttime was discovered. Diurnal CO2 flux fluctuated from minimum at 05:00 to maximum at 14:00 in local time. Seasonal CO2 fluxes increased in summer and decreased in winter, representing a great variation of seasonal soil respiration. The mean soil CO2 fluxes in the alpine grassland ecosystem were 21.39 mgCO2 · m-2 · h-1, with an average annual amount of soil respiration of 187.46 gCO2 · m-2 · a-1. Net ecosystem productivity is also estimated, which indicated that the alpine grassland ecosystem is a carbon sink.  相似文献

As the globally largest area covered by high altitudinal permafrost, the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau may contribute substantially to atmospheric CH4 budget when global warming. Preliminary observations on CH4 emission at Qingshuihe from November 5 to 14, 1995 show that alpine grassland may be a small source for atmospheric CH4 during early winter. The emission rates of CH4 from moist grassland surface varied from-16. 1 to 23. 9 μg. m-2h-1, with an average of 1. 82 μg. m-2h-1. Emission rates of CH4 from water surface of Qingshuihe River were from -21. 0 to 37. 1 μg. m-2h-1, with an average of 1. 56 μg. m-2h-1. The emission rates of CH at 30 to 200 cm in depth ranged from-69. 0 to 36. 0 μg. m-2h-1, with the average rate at these depths varying from -2. 15 to 2. 04 μg' m-2h-1. The mean emission rates of CH4 in the active layer and permafrost indicate the lower part of active layer tends to release CH4, CH4 is absorbed at low rates in the middle section and in the vicinity of permafrost table, and net fluxes of CH4 is emitted from the soils in the upper part. During the observation periods, the methane concentrations in static chambers and emission rates of grassland and water surface displayed noticeable diurnal variations. The water/ice content may play important role in the spatial variations of methane emission rates. The emission rates of methane is weakly correlated with the ground temperatures at sampling depths and air temperatures. The observed emission rates of methane from the comparatively dry and sandy grassland soils are quite low compared with that observed in the permafrost regions in the high latitudes.  相似文献

据1992-1994年天山北坡中东段各种主要天然草地类型混合牧草群落光谱观测资料,牧草产量资料分析发现,天然草地牧草产量与光谱被指数都具有季节变化特征,呈现出低到高,再由高到低的变化规律;天然草地光谱植被指数可以较了地反映牧草产量的年际变化和不同类型天然草地的产量差异,由于降水等自然条件的影响,牧草产量的年份,光谱植被指数也高,牧草产量低的年份,光谱植被指数也低。  相似文献

We examined the abundance and distribution of Eleodes extricata (Tenebrionidae) in a semi-arid region of West Texas. During the 2-year study, climatic conditions were extreme but opposite, with 1997 being unusually wet and mild, and 1998 being unusually dry and hot. These conditions were associated with striking differences in the population structure of the beetles. Under identical pitfall-sampling efforts, we captured 1562 and 671 individuals in 1997 and 1998, respectively. Capture rates were lowest in grassland, and highest in sand shinnery oak, and within the latter, they were lowest in blowouts, intermediate along the edges of blowouts, and highest under vegetative cover. Sex ratios were consistently female-biased, and the degree of bias increased from spring through fall in both years. These increases were more pronounced in 1998, with the sex ratios of early and late sampling periods differing by over four-fold, from 1·15 to 5·00. Females were heavier than males, and the dry masses of both sexes increased from spring though fall in both years. As with sex ratios, these increases were more pronounced in 1998. Only the largest beetles survived the drought, illustrating how extreme conditions can exert especially strong directional selection, and affect sex ratios in populations with sexual size dimorphism.  相似文献

本文综述了目前中国晚前寒武纪地层中所发现的宏体化石,从18亿年起直到6亿年左右。蓟县剖面高于庄组(14亿年)中发现Grypanta等大化石,再次证明生物演化大阶段的世界性。包括后生动物实体化石在内的淮南生物群可能是前冰期的,也就是先伊迪卡拉期的。震旦纪晚期的西陵峡生物群,现有伊迪卡拉期的典型分子,又有丰富的蠕虫管和高级的红藻、绿藻类。蠕虫管的大量出现预告了带硬部动物时代的到来。  相似文献

利用高分一号卫星数据建立小尺度CASA-NPP估算模型,反演及监测草原露天煤矿区草地NPP空间分布格局,以及煤矿区内部复垦植被的NPP与表层土壤之间的关系。利用归一化植被指数、归一化水体指数等获取CASA模型有效光辐射参数、水分胁迫系数等,从而简化并改进小尺度CASA模型,遥感反演数据与实测样点数据拟合度达到0.94。结果表明,该模型能够高精度地完成小区域NPP估测。从利用CASA模型反演得到的NPP空间格局可以看出,这一地区的植被退化以采矿、放牧等人类活动为主导,原地貌区域围栏的典型草甸草原NPP在300~400 gC/m2· yr 之间,高于放牧区域 NPP,矿区内 NPP 空间变化显著,矿区内部 NPP 低于100 gC/m2· yr,明显低于周边原地貌地区。对于矿区复垦排土场区域,复垦年限和表土的养分是决定植被生长和NPP的主要因素。研究得出国产高分卫星数据可以高精度地完成小尺度NPP的估测,从而为其在草原地区以及矿山环境中监测提供了研究基础。  相似文献

草地退化、土地沙化等问题已成为若尔盖地区突出的环境问题之一。本文分析了若尔盖地区1957年以来的气候变化特征以及对当地生态环境的影响。结果表明,若尔盖地区多年平均气温呈明显升高的变化趋势,以每10年约0.23℃的倾向率增高,各季节气温也呈上升趋势,其中秋季(9~11月)和冬季(12~莅年2月)气温上升更加明显;多年平均降水量呈略有减少之势,降水倾向率为每10年减少1.75mm。其中,春季(3~5月)和秋季降水量呈现出逐年下降的趋势,秋季降水减少的趋势更明显一些,而夏季(6~8月)和冬季降水量却表现出逐年增多的趋势。受气候变暖趋干的影响,该区冻土环境和植被发生变化,土地沙化、草地严重退化等生态环境问题对当地的社会经济与环境发展产生了重要影响。  相似文献

通过分析环境减灾卫星(HJ)的光谱特征,参考MODIS火情监测模型,发展了基于HJ卫星的火情遥感监测方法。针对甘肃省2011年2月10日发生在玛曲、2012年12月8日发生在岷县境内的2次草原火灾,研究了HJ卫星相应通道的本地化阈值,采用植被指数的多时相阈值法提取过火范围并计算了过火面积,同时与甘肃草原监理站的过火面积观测资料及同期MODIS的监测结果分别进行比对。结果表明,2次判定火点的阈值为T4〉310K;HJ卫星监测到的玛曲、岷县的火灾面积分别为65.3hm2、19.8hm2,监测精度为98%和90%,较MODiS监测精度提高了10.5%和2g.9%;Hj卫星进行火情遥感监测的空间分辨率更高,监测结果更精细,具有很好的业务化应用价值。  相似文献
