Irrigation with arsenic (As)‐rich water in agricultural soil may increase high levels of As in crops and cause food chain contamination. In this study, a greenhouse experiment was established using Spanish agricultural soil (Valladolid and Segovia provinces), that are extensively cultivated for carrot plant, to investigate the process of As uptake, bioaccumulation, and translocation of As from root to shoot and leaves in carrot plant. Arsenic concentrations in different organs of carrot plant, rhizosphere soil, and soil solutions were determined by hydride generation atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS). High concentrations of As in irrigation water, and the alkaline and sandy character of this soil enhanced As uptake in carrot plants indicating the potential health risk from consumption of carrots cultivated in these areas. Bioaccumulation of As into the leaves and roots increased with increase of As concentration in irrigation water. Both roots and leaves demonstrated a higher accumulation rate of As at an As concentration of 41 than 131 µg L?1 in the soil solution. The ratios of Asroot/Asleaves showed no statistically significant differences for the different irrigation treatments, and had an average value of 0.36 indicating the high magnitude of As translocation from roots to leaves in carrot plants. The leaves of carrots had a higher affinity for As than roots did. The correlation between As uptake by leaves or roots of carrots and the soluble As in rhizosphere soil did not demonstrate a linear or a plateau curve, indicating a slow but continuous constant As absorption which could be prolonged over time with high potential environmental risks.  相似文献

中国东部主要入海河流As元素分布、来源及影响因素分析   总被引:4,自引:2,他引:2  
为查明中国河流中As等重金属元素的分布规律,于2007—2008年分丰水期和枯水期对中国东部30余条入海河流水体、悬浮物统一进行采样分析。结果表明:东部河流中As元素溶解态含量均值为3.1μg/L,同世界河流相比,明显偏高;且频率分布直方图具有多个峰值,反映出明显的人为污染。利用富集系数的研究表明,悬浮物同样受到较明显的人为污染。As在河水中的迁移形式以溶解态为主,pH值和温度对As的迁移形式有明显影响。流域内岩石类型对河流中As含量影响显著,火山岩、火山碎屑岩类广泛分布的流域河水中As含量明显偏高,花岗岩及中、深变质岩广泛分布的流域河流中As含量则偏小。利用生活、工业污水作为As元素人为来源端元,对海河、黄河、长江、珠江等河流人为源进行了估算,分别为46.7%、18.7%、13.5%、8.3%。  相似文献

Geochemical composition (Al, Zn, Pb, Cd, Cu, Ni, Cr and As) and foraminiferal assemblages in surface and core sediments were determined to assess the current situation and the recent environmental transformation of the Suances estuary (southern Bay of Biscay, Spain). Dating of the historical record has been achieved using isotopic analysis (210Pb, 137Cs) and two benchmark events such as the beginning of the mineral exploitation in the Reocín Pb-Zn deposits and the evolution of the chlor-alkali industry (inputs of Hg). Concentrations of Zn, Pb and Cd in both surface and core samples are remarkably higher than background values, reflecting the existence of significant amounts of polluted materials. The dramatic environmental impact of this pollution is clearly recorded by the change of the foraminiferal assemblages that even reach an afaunal stage during recent decades. Application of two different sets of Sediment Quality Guidelines confirm that they exert potential risk to the environment, and therefore if dredged they should need specific management measures.The results provide a reference database to monitor future environmental changes in the Suances estuary, particularly as regards the contaminated sediment storage and the re-colonization by autochtonous meiofauna.  相似文献

对黄石地区各类水体中砷元素的地球化学特征及污染调查研究表明:1)区域各类水体砷的背景值含量范围为0.52~5.46μg/L,这一值代表了研究区各类水体富砷的化学组成特征.2)区域地质是制约区域水体背景值的主导因素.碎屑岩区水体中As的含量相对较高,pH为中-酸性(6.54~7.14),电导率也很高(R:600~1860μΩ-1).3)区域水环境污染有两类,一类自然污染源是中生代中酸性岩体与与碳酸盐岩接触带夕卡岩型矿体矿化裂隙水及流经二叠系梁山煤组(P1l)和龙潭组(P2l)煤系溪水;另一类是人为污染源,它们是选矿厂、化工厂、有色金属冶炼厂等工业废水.4)各类水体中砷元素的含量、元素组合及pH、Ec等特征明显不同.  相似文献

Although high As groundwater has been observed in shallow groundwater of the Hetao basin, little is known about As distribution in deep groundwater. Quantitative investigations into relationships among chemical properties and among samples in different areas were carried out. Ninety groundwater samples were collected from deep aquifers of the northwest of the basin. Twenty-two physicochemical parameters were obtained for each sample. Statistical methods, including principal component analysis (PCA) and hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA), were used to analyze those data. Results show that As species were highly correlated with Fe species, NH4-N and pH. Furthermore, result of PCA indicates that high As groundwater was controlled by geological, reducing and oxic factors. The samples are classified into three clusters in HCA, which corresponded to the alluvial fans, the distal zone and the flat plain. Moreover, the combination of PCA with HCA shows the different dominant factors in different areas. In the alluvial fans, groundwater is influenced by oxic factors, and low As concentrations are observed. In the distal zone, groundwater is under suboxic conditions, which is dominated by reducing and geological factors. In the flat plain, groundwater is characterized by reducing conditions and high As concentrations, which is dominated by the reducing factor. This investigations indicate that deep groundwater in the alluvial fans mostly contains low As concentrations but high NO3 and U concentrations, and needs to be carefully checked prior to being used for drinking water sources.  相似文献

以采自大同盆地野外试验场的含水层沉积物为研究对象,调查高砷含水层中生物可利用性砷的含量及其影响因素。经实验室测定,沉积物总体呈碱性,Al、Fe等金属元素含量较高。利用连续提取法发现沉积物中砷结合形态主要为无定形和低结晶铁铝氧化物结合态,其次是残余态砷。其中铁铝氧化物形态的砷所占比例达53.54%,非专性吸附态和专性吸附态占14.33%,生物可利用形态的砷较少,这与体外模拟方法测定的生物可利用性砷含量较低吻合。体外模拟实验还发现:肠阶段生物可利用性砷含量比胃阶段低,生理学提取法(PBET)和体外消化法(IVG)测定的生物可利用性砷差异较小。  相似文献

Groundwater arsenic(As)contamination is a hot issue,which is severe health concern worldwide.Recently,many Fe-based adsorbents have been used for As removal from solutions.Modified granular natural siderite(MGNS),a special hybrid Fe(II)/Fe(III)system,had higher adsorption capacity for As(III)than As(V),but the feasibility of its application in treating high-As groundwater is still unclear.In combination with transport modeling,laboratory column studies and field pilot tests were performed to reveal both mechanisms and factors controlling As removal by MGNS-filled filters.Results show that weakly acid pH and discontinuous treatment enhanced As(Ⅲ)removal,with a throughput of 8700 bed volumes(BV)of 1.0 mg/L As(Ⅲ)water at breakthrough of 10 μg/L As at pH 6.Influent HCO_3~-inhibited As removal by the filters.Iron mineral species,SEM and XRD patterns of As-loading MGNS show that the important process contributing to high As(Ⅲ)removal was the mineral transformation from siderite to goethite in the filter.The homogeneous surface diffusion modeling(HSDM)shows that competition between As(III)and HCO_3~-with adsorption sites on MGNS was negligible.The inhibition of HCO_3~-on As(Ⅲ)removal was connected to inhibition of siderite dissolution and mineral transformation.Arsenic loadings were lower in field pilot tests than those in the laboratory experiments,showing that high concentrations of coexisting anions(especially HCO_3~-and SiO_4~(4-)),high pH,low EBCT,and low groundwater temperature decreased As removal.It was suggested that acidification and aeration of highAs groundwater and discontinuous treatment would improve the MGNS filter performance of As removal from real high-As groundwater.  相似文献

北祁连山缝合带是一条典型的早古生代大洋型俯冲带,其中发育两条蓝片岩带:含硬柱石的低级蓝片岩带和含榴辉岩的高级蓝片岩带。在清水沟地区含榴辉岩的高级蓝片岩带中的高压变质富锰硅质岩中发现稀有的砷硅锰矿,这是国内首次发现砷硅锰矿。利用光学显微镜、扫描电镜、电子探针、拉曼光谱、透射电镜等方法对其进行了详细的矿物学研究。研究发现,砷硅锰矿密度为3. 69~3. 75 g/cm3,硬度为6~7,与石英、红帘石、蓝闪石、多硅白云母和赤铁矿等矿物共生,二轴晶,正光性,(010)解理完全,从淡黄色到金黄色,多色性强烈;砷硅锰矿的主要成分是Si、Al、Mn,富含As,并含有少量的F、V、P;在拉曼图谱上,砷硅锰矿具有许多明显的特征峰,且显示出砷酸根、钒酸根以及MnO键和Si O3基团的存在;在晶体结构上,砷硅锰矿为斜方晶系,空间群为Pnmm,晶轴参数为a=8. 934、b=5. 817、c=19. 005。这些矿物学特征可以作为砷硅锰矿的鉴定和研究依据。  相似文献

对广西中东部9县区农田土壤中的As输入通量进行了初步研究。综合各方面因素,计算获取了大气干湿沉降、施肥和灌溉水输入通量。结果表明,研究区大气干湿沉降和施肥As输入通量基本相当,平均值分别为9.92 g/(hm^2·a)和7.83 g/(hm^2·a),灌溉水通量最高,平均值为14.98 g/(hm^2·a),三者对土壤As污染的贡献率分别为30.31%、23.92%和45.77%。9个不同县区大气干湿沉降、施肥和灌溉水As输入通量占比略有不同,其中6个县区灌溉水和施肥输入通量占主导地位,另外3个县区大气干湿沉降输入通量比例较高。因此,灌溉水是研究区农田土壤As的主要输入途径,应重视灌溉水水质控制。在未考虑农田土壤As输出通量的情况下,以当前的As年平均输入通量估算得到耕层土壤As的质量分数每年升高0.01 mg/kg。与土壤As含量现状相比,As年增量比例很小,因此判断在短期内,外源输入对土壤As分布现状影响不大。该区土壤p H值较低,铁氧化物含量较高,因此外源输入农田土壤的As生物有效性较低。  相似文献
